#2320: Nissin Nupasta Bolognese Flavour Instant Noodle (Cup Type) - Hong Kong

Finished (click to enlarge). The noodles came out quite nicely - just a tiny bit al dente just like I expected. The meat sauce was pretty good - definitely a sweet tomato and meat melange here. I think of all these I've tried so far, I'm definitely a big fan of the Carbonara and Salmon In White Sauce variants over this one. 4.0 out of 5.0 stars.  EAN bar code 4897878660025.

Last night’s keto dinner was a Mexican spiced cast-iron pork chop dish and my own made up cheesy zoodles and noodles. My son wolfed it all down, my daughter was not a fan of the look of the “pasta” but loved the meat. Caramel bars for dessert 😍 . “fettuccini”* with spinach and green peas (cooked up in a pan with butter and olive oil), lemon juice, nutmeg, pink himalayan salt, and black pepper, and topped with chopped walnuts and grated parmesan 

*decided to splurge and order an assorted case of nuPasta (comes with “fettuccini”, “spaghetti”, and “angel hair”), which is a starch-free, high fibre noodle alternative derived from the konjac plant. i’ve only tried this one package so far, but i was super impressed. the density wasn’t quite that of regular wheat-based pasta, but was still totally slurp-able and the texture was on par. and, at the risk of patting myself too hard on the back (haha), i had no complaints about that dish right there.

#2268: Nissin Nupasta Neapolitan Flavour Instant Noodle - Hong Kong

Finished (click to enlarge). Added Chinese sausage. Well, what we have here is basically instant spaghetti! The noodles are nice - slightly softer than your standard spaghetti but they'll do just fine. What I like here is that the sauce has a very sweet taste - a flavor I like better than most spaghetti sauces have. This works well. 4.5 out of 5.0 stars. EAN bar code 4897878190027.
