canon things my oc fenix has said about the batfam

someone told her that dick is so nice and so easy to talk to that he makes them feel safe

"you do realize thats the point right? i mean c'mon now you can't be this dense, afterall look at who raised him. did you ever stop and wonder why it was he's so kind? so charming even? perhaps even why it always seems like he's the first to introduce himself to new recruits? talk to them with no issues why he's the first of the batfam to even greet you? i wonder.. when exactly was it that you realized it was manipulation at least... in part? his kindness is the weapon and you are the prey. afterall someone needs to determine the sheep from wolves."

(when she first met clark aka superman this was the first question out of her mouth)

"WERE YOU MADE IN A LAB TO?!"

clark stared at her in complete concerned confusion

clark: what do you mean a lab?

fenix: nevermind (her wings droop completely dissapointed)

...

when talking to bruce about mental health and how hers are decling he suggests someone sit with her and keep watch so she's safe

fenix immediately gasped loudly and shouted at him

"OH MY GOD YOUR TRYING TO PUT ME ON SUICIDE WATCH IM NOT SUICIDAL BRUCE."

bruce stood there staring up at fenix wedged inside the dinosaur statue and went, "what no thats not.. fenix come down".

fenix: NO YOU THINK IM A DANGER TO MYSELF

this turned into an chaotic hour long argument but it ended with fenix forgiving bruce and letting him sit with her and she called him her favorite dad shape

(shes never had parents and bruce constantly dads her even though shes 23)

Some silly little headcanons of my oc Fenix (reminder shes a 23 year old meta human with wings and fiery red hair and an ex assassin)

When she saw Arkham Jason's suit and after she befriended him just by being very very painfully kind and treated him like a person and showed him absolutely no fear or hesitation when she met him.

She absolutely asked if she could stick a magnet on his armor to see if it would stay

She did not wait for an answer she did it anyway it did stick to some parts of the suit jason's brain blue screened he has no idea what to do with a weird girl with wings that's likely his age just sticking a magnet to him like he's a walking fridge

When she started bringing him hot mugs of tea on cold nights and they'd have small conversations because she disarms him with her kindness and lack of fear of him which Jason finds incredibly intriguing and it gets under his skin.. she absolutely jokes and says when she talks to him fully suited it's like speaking to a sentient transformer

She never lets the sentient transformer joke die, she went so far as to change his text notification sound for his contact on her phone to the transformer transforming noise from the movies, her ringtone for his contact is just Optimus prime saying "autobots roll out".

She absolutely does a bad Optimus prime impression of him when she thinks he's being annoying or just to annoy him a bit

Every single time Jason pretends to be annoyed but secretly kinda loves it because she's treating him like everyone else and it's kinda addicting

Some silly miscellaneous Fenix headcanons that are canon in my head

Absolutely tried to stick a magnet to Bruce when she saw him put on the armored bat suit was disappointed when it fell off her wings drooped Alfred gave her a cupcake for her trouble

Later that night when Bruce came home from patrol he left her a new magnet on the fridge

She rambles and over shares

Once threatened to shave Ollie's head in his sleep because he wouldn't stop making bad jokes at her (not in a mean way in a more just to annoy her sort of way)

yes she was serious

When Bruce gives her batdad lectures about safety protocols she absolutely mocks him and his gravelly voice while walking around on his dinosaur statue in the cave (because she likes high places) and she mimicks his deep gravelly voice and his walk and absolutely steals his cape just to do it (she looks like a toddler playing dressup in his cape)

Gothamites just accept Bruce now has a weird chaos daughter with wings that is very obviously a meta

alfred taught her british insults and she uses them mercelessly especially when the press is rude

constantine also started teaching her british insults

her favorite one is calling people "daft muppets".

in the middle of a press conference she called the press on live tv "daft super manky wazzoks full of knobs". she also calls them "daft manky naft muppets that positively look like a skiver full of liggers".

British insult glossary

Daft = foolish

manky = disgusting

wazzoks = someone so dumb they can only do manuel labour for work (she got this insult from constantine and doctor who)

knob = means dick

muppet = dimwit

skiver = lazy sod

ligger = freeloader

naff = tacky

Nicknames my oc Fenix likes that Constantine calls her

Dove (it makes her feel nice it's her top favorite)

Love (her favorite favorite like he calls her love and her chest just feels all warm and nice the first time she blushed so hard she glowed a little which of course made John do it more)

Birdie (she doesn't mind this one but she prefers dove)

Lover (just as good as love in her book she claims ir as her title lowkey)

"My little ember" (she likes this one but of she's ever asked directly she'll deny it and he can only call her this in private)

Pet (she has mixed feelings about this but John uses this one sparingly but sometimes when he says it she just feels a soft warmth bloom in her chest)

For reference she's a meta with basically fire in her veins and massive black wings and firey flaming curly hair she can fly wnd other then her having gold eyes she's very much humanoid and yes she's dating John Constantine
