ever since i learned he hated blood... I've wanted Gawain to cross dimensions to meet seigfried "coughs up blood regularly" von hresvelg lol. I wanna see how he gets along w his not-brother so bad!!!
You know, I hadn't considered the two of them meeting but that would actually be hysterically funny I think.

I need to preface this by saying that since Seigfried is not my character, there is a very high chance I'll get some stuff wrong here--don't take anything I say about him as canon to the character, I'm just playing with dolls lmao
I think they could get along... sort of. Gawain is pretty reserved and introverted, and it seems like Seigfried is similar, so they wouldn't clash immediately, at least. I do think, though, that they have a lot of points of conflict that would make it difficult for them to be actual friends. For one, Gawain is not nearly as critical of Edelgard as Seigfried is--Gawain thinks his mother is a bit reckless and made some very dangerous decisions, but ultimately, things worked out in her favor. I get the impression that Seigfried's opinion of Edelgard is much harsher than Gawain's is.
I also feel like Seigfried might be a little resentful of Gawain, since Gawain has a better relationship with Edelgard, and also doesn't struggle with any of the health problems Seigfried does.
On Gawain's end of things, I think the moment Seigfried started coughing up blood, Gawain would panic. He doesn't like blood under any circumstances, but it coming out of someone's mouth is horrifying to him. He probably wouldn't want to be alone around Seigfried after that, because he can't do anything to help if it happens again--best case scenario, he faints and someone hears the thud and comes running.
