I..yeah, good point. The author pointing out how Scooby Doo and Batman have both had so many different crossovers is a clever in-joke. Or well, just a clever joke generally. Batman had almost 10 years of team up stories in the 70s. And Scooby Doo had those tv movies in the 70s, where they met a lot of celebrities. I own those Scooby Doo Batman crossovers on DVD, y'know. It must be one of my oldest DVDs. I also saw some of them due to my public library. Far more Harlem Globetrotters crossovers than I expected. (Scooby Doo Team-Up #1):
But I take it chronology is not going to be this comic's strong suit. And i'm fully fine with that. As long as some loose chronology exists, I don't really care. I just need a good base. DC hasn't had that since the Crisis on Infinite Earths, so y'know...younger reader focused storylines work best for me. I read pretty much only middle grade fiction in my books. This is a bit more children's book styled, but do I care? No. Not if it's fun. And it really does seem fun.
Olan Soule played the exact same character in Police Woman in the late 1970s that he played on Dragnet in the late 1960s.
Last new episode of the All-New Super Friends Hour aired on December 10, 1977. The next season would change the title to Challenge of the Super Friends.
