A piercing cry jerked him from his sleep. He moved sluggishly across the floor, yawning and rubbing at one eye. It still amazed him that something so small could consistently bring a smile to his face. He lifted the infant carefully, cradling them to his bare chest, quietly hushing, humming and gently bouncing as he walked.

He changed and fed the baby girl, hands always cautiously, fear of hurting her always present in his mind. The care quieted her a little, quiet little whines breaking into more cries. Peter seated himself in the rocking chair, laying the infant on his chest and resting one foot on the floor to move the chair. "I know sweetheart, I miss her too." He ran one hand through his hair, the other one holding his little girl in place, tears burning at his eyes as he glanced at the now empty bed, too big, too cold.

"Oh my little star, I was so scared when your mother first told me about you" He nuzzles the top of her head gently, able to picture the bright smile and shaking hands clearly.

"Your mother was so happy to know you were coming, she read so, so many books and would tell me just how much you were growing. She was so clever and so patient with me." He pressed a soft kiss to her black hair, the same colour as her mother, thankful she seemed to be quieting.

"I was terrified but so excited to meet you, I didn't think I would be able to do this, but your mother had faith, she trusted me." A bittersweet smile crossed his face, remembering just how he knew this.

Guin lay in the bed, hands resting on her swollen stomach. "Oh my little miracle. I cannot wait for your father to meet you. You are so lucky my miracle, to have the father you do." She was whispering as she thought he was asleep. "You will never be bored for he is so clever and so full of stories and adventures. You need never be scared because he is so very, very brave and he will protect you with everything he has. And he loves you, oh how he loves you my little miracle" She starts humming a soft little song, "Go to sleep Peter, I am fine"

He pressed another gentle kiss to the sleeping infant's head, continuing to rock the chair for a few minutes before setting her back in her bed. "My little star, you are going to be so clever, my little Celeste, just like your mother"

Batman Ninja Review

Ok so it starts out fairly normal. Batfam and Gotham villains end up time zapped by Grodd to ancient Japan. Villains try to take over. Batman has to stop them and get everyone home.

It's a good laugh, but don't take the movie seriously.

Batman is a profisized ninja? Ok. Sure

But then the villains made castles that can move around (they sort of made the industrial revolution happen a lot earlier then it should).

Then the castle robots pulled some power rangers unite stunt?

Like really

And then monkeys and bats pull together to form OG Batman?

And then a classic anime faceoff

Then the joker pulls off the creepy possession stand up? Wtf
