Yes, today is Shabbat Parah.

Shabbat of the Red Heifer (parah adumah) is the first special Shabbat leading up to Passover. The additional Torah reading (maftir) Bamidbar/Numbers 19:1-22 deals using the ashes of a red heifer for ritual purification in anticipation of the coming Passover festival.

honestly would love for sarah and pope to be besties in s3 and it’s not explained at all. even the other characters are confused as to when they got so close. but the two of them have their own little thing going on: sarah calls pope ‘babe’ platonically (and sometimes he calls her ‘babe’ back), they play pranks on the other pogues together and they’re always terrible pranks but they die laughing every time anyway, jj goes up to pope at some point like “hey dude are u wearing a cardigan?” and pope’s like “yeah it’s sarah’s, she gave it to me coz she said it brings out my eyes,” and jj just stares at him, they’ll say shit like “yeah this looks like a job for Parah” unironically (’Sope’ was too confusing), they have their own handshake thats so short and simple that the other pogues easily copy it so they quickly make a new one that’s like 30 seconds long. all the other pogues wonder where they hell they found the time to make it since they’ve been running from police the whole time. they’re basically married. one time sarah says ‘hey babe?’ and both pope and john b reply ‘yes?’
