Sabo knows better than to try to get involved/ try to fix the situation. He probably learned his lesson to just accept whatever is happening when Crocodile started visiting (because I imagine it was shocking to see how different Dragon might act around Crocodile.)
Lan Zhan (half human half dragon spirit/demon) is sealed cuz he tried to protect evil Mo XuanYu (who's Wei Ying's past life, so pretty much Kykio) aka the love of his life. He stays sealed for about 13 years till Wifi (MXY reincarnation) falls into the well and goes back in time. The Stygian Tiger Pearl (pretty much the Shikon Pearl) is back, broken and now they have to collect the pieces.
The roles?:
Lan Zhan is a dragon-human halfbreed
Wifi is human and reincarnation of MXY
MXY was a human raised by spirits/demons who pretty much was/became a rogue cultivator and the founder/grandmaster of demonic cultivation and creator of the Stygian Tiger Pearl
LXC is LZ elder brother
Lan SiShui Huli Jing-Human halfbreed raised by the GusuLan Sect, Lan WangJi and MXY
Jiang Cheng is Wifi’s adoptive younger brother and cousin.
The GususLan sect is a cultivation sect created by Lan Zhan’s dad, that kind of is secret cuz human tend to not have the best relationship with spirits. The Sect is mostly made by humans and halfbreeds.
Yanli is MXY’s adoptive sister/mother and a flower spirit.
Jin ZiXuan is the spirit of the red gem encrusted in the sword (in this au Suihua has a red gem).
So ofc Jin Ling is a mix of his parents.
Lan JingYi is a human member of the GusuLan Sect.
Ouyang ZiZhen is a human from a clan/family of priests/monks.
Wen Qing is the doctor of the village of the area where Lan Zhan was sealed and where the well is, she was young when the whole ordeal with MXY happened, but she wasn’t really that involved so she doesn’t know that much (just what he heard and was told by the adults around her).
Wen Ning is his sister’s apprentice and tends to do ‘work’ as a messenger for her sister, he somehow seems to always know where to find the group (who are looking for the shard of the Stygian Tiger Pearl).
Xiao XingCheng is an ice spirit, Song Lan is his human companion and A-Qing is the human teen they adopted.
Jin GuanYao, Xue Yang and Su She are basically Naraku.
Wen was a clan that hunted spirits/demons, they killed Jin Ling’s family just because.
Nie HuaiSang is a fan spirit.
Nie MingJue is a saber spirit.
Since LWJ can’t always protect Wifi, WQ gives him a flute. He loses it in one of their adventures and almost immediately finds Chenqing, sth happened to it so LWJ doesn’t/can’t immediately recognize it.
