Life got busy and I can't post much rn :(, but here's a sketch I forgot to post of Fen and his spirit friend! Ofc this is from Binary Star System, so check it out if you want more of these dudes.
Harmonia and Her Loved Ones
So, in my universe, she's the eldest child of Ares and Aphrodite (and twin to Himeros), but her story is generally very… um, yeah.
The first art shows her and her beloved Cadmus, second shows a bit about her children. Basically, no one got a good ending.
And the last art shows just typical Olympus. Nothing new, really.
OH GOD in iliad 22 when priam begs hector not to face achilles who "[...] has made me desolate of my sons, who were brave and many" and he wonders if lycaon and polydorus are alive or dead, and we KNOW. WE KNOW.
polydorus died in book 20. as priam's youngest he went out on the battlefield against his father's wishes, where achilles got him with a spear straight through the abdomen, and hector saw his little brother drop down with intestines spilling into his hands.
lycaon died in book 21, on his knees begging achilles for mercy, reminding him that he was achilles' prisoner once before, telling him that he only made it home eleven days ago. "[...] but on the twelfth day once again the god cast him into the hands of Achilleus, who this time was to send him down unwilling on his way to the death god"...
WE know, but all priam knows is that his sons haven't returned yet with the other fighters. just like helen looking out on the battlefield wondering where her brothers might be. i can't take it!!
And to finish my sudden art posting a collection of sketches ‼️
