- has the biggest rbf. he always looks mad even when he's not which makes him less approachable. he also just generally looks intimidating.
- third biggest smoker. he is ALWAYS smoking or has a cigarette in his hand. the only times he's not smoking is when he's drinking or in the curtis house (since they don't allow smoking in the house)
-smells of smoke, cheap cologne, and sometimes the smell of his room (some people's houses just have a specific smell, idk)
-when he was with Sylvia, he liked her but never loved her. in all honesty, they probably rarely talked about much. their relationship consisted of mostly sex and making out, not really talking. and when they did talk, it would be about the most generic topic ever.
-this man is one of the heaviest sleepers you will ever meet, it's why he can sleep at Bucks no problem (even though there's a party literally every night)
-when it comes to his friends, Dallas has NO filter. he could be having the most random conversation and all of a sudden say something insane.
- he's super polite and respectful to older women (he's nice to every woman but more so older woman) and he always calls them ma'am
- he's not innocent by any means (idk why y'all baby him, he literally murdered someone).
- he gets drunk and goes to parties, but not as much as Two-Bit or Dallas. most of the time he'll come along and he will have a drink or two at most. he will get drunk occasionally if he feels like it or if Dallas peer pressures him into it.
- his favourite candy are twizzlers (even though they taste like ass) and the gang always picks on him about it.
- this man is not white im sorry (not sorry). I believe he's half hispanic and half italian. his nose gives it away lol (also cause ralph is italian)
- he's definitely had crushes on girls but is too shy to do anything about it. he also has a huge fear of rejection (same) which is why a lot of the time he struggles to speak up.
- he is the biggest smoker out of the entire gang. he goes through so many packs a week you'd be surprised he's still breathing.
- his smoking habits get worse during the summer since it's not track season, but also he likes to smoke when he's bored (also cause he's addicted obviously). when track season comes back around, he smokes less but still quite a bit.
- he's always hanging out with Johnny and Dallas. if he's not seen with one of them, he's always seen with the other.
- he has a really weird taste in books. I don't mean smut (though he canonically read a smut book), I mean he tends to read books that have more of a niche/bizarre concept. sometimes he will get random foreign literature that makes zero sense but he claims it to be poetic (he has no idea what any of it means)
- he once had a girlfriend called Margaret and they met when they were both 15. she was super sweet and they were a nice couple, never fought or got into trouble. a few months into their relationship, they were talking about their futures and Ponyboy realised that theirs don't align, so he broke up with her.
- he has the WORST taste in music im sorry. he manages to find the worst artists known to man and somehow finds it enjoyable.
- a lot of people think he's a playboy because of how attractive he is (even though we know that to be further from the truth) so girls always approach him thinking that they have a chance, only to be rejected by him not even a second later.
- he 100% has ADHD. sometimes Darry will ask him to do something, whether it's a chore or a favour, and he will forget to do it not even a few minutes later.
- sometimes he thinks about asking Darry if he could see a therapist, but he gives up on the idea since it's 1. expensive, and 2. socially unacceptable
- believe it or not, he is a very protective person. not Dallas level of protective, but he isn't afraid to stand his ground when it comes to defending someone he cares about. one time a guy was being a dick to Sandy (when they were still together obviously) and Soda smashed a beer bottle on the hood of the guys car.
- he sleeps in the weirdest positions known to man. he could be going to sleep on his side in a completely normal position, only to wake up on the edge of the other end of the bed, basically hanging upside down. 
- he tries to avoid arguments at all costs. he hates any sort of yelling and loud noises in general. whenever Pony and Darry fight, he attempts to distance himself by going outside or going into a different room. he sometimes even locks himself in the bathroom.
- this man is ALWAYS tense. even when he's sleeping or in a relaxed state, his muscles are constantly tensed. he always asks Soda to massage his shoulders since he's best at it, even asking him to oil them sometimes.
- before Soda got a job, he used to work 2 different jobs. one was roofing and the other was painting houses.
-he secretly has a passion for painting/art, but he feels like he could never pursue it or express it since he's got too much to worry about and he doesn't have time for it. though, being an artist is always a dream/fantasy that's stuck in the back of his mind.
- sometimes he is so unintentionally funny, and then when people laugh he just looks at them confused.
- Darry only shops for ingredients, he rarely buys snacks since they aren't really necessary and doesn't wanna waste money on something that isn't needed. though, he ends up regretting it when he is sometimes craving a bag of chips or some sort of junk food that isn't chocolate cake.
- he's a very good cook and can make a delicious dish out of literally anything. you could give him shit on a plate and he'd somehow make it into something yummy.
- he loves mickey mouse because he used to watch it with his dad before he left. he also enjoys watching it because his little sister likes to watch it with him and it makes him feel like a kid again.
- he is THE messiest eater you will ever see. like it's actually disgusting. he does not give a fuck on where he is at what time. he will always be INHALING his food, even if it tastes like ass. sometimes he doesn't even use utensils (depending on what the food is)
- he has photographic memory yet he weirdly doesn't use it to his advantage. I feel like he didn't even know that he had it up until he was telling Pony about it, and Pony's looking at him in shock (because it's so rare) and he was confused until Pony explained how gifted he is to have that. even after Pony has it explained to him, he still doesn't use it to his advantage since he still doesn't understand that he could.
- the gang has only ever seen Two-Bit without his hair greased ONCE in their entire time of knowing him. it was due to the fact that he had run out of hair greased and he had rushed over to the Curtis house to borrow some. he's secretly insecure about his hair since it's actually quite thin.
- sometimes he just says random shit, as if he is just thinking out loud. sometimes the gang will be hanging out and he says something that's so bizarre and random that they can't help but stare.
- no matter where he is, he will always crack some sort of joke— whether it's dirty, dark, or corny. he usually does it to cope or because he can't read the room (or just feels like it, sometimes a mix of all 3)
- like Dallas, he has a serious rbf. he's shorter than Dally so he's not as intimidating, but it still makes him less approachable.
- his jean vest was given to him by his mother before she left. it was a gift she gave as something to remember her by, and for a while he kept it tucked away as everytime he looked at it, he felt betrayal and sadness. but overtime he learned to accept what happened and eventually started wearing it constantly.
- he's really good at wood carving (?). he picked the skill up from his dad when they used to go on hunting/fishing trips together and his father would teach him how to carve a tool of some sort. overtime he got better at it and sometimes in his free time he carves little animals or objects.
- he's actually really into astrology but keeps it hidden since he doesn't wanna be made fun of. but if you were to ask him about any star sign, he could give you a complete run down about it and more.
- when Steve first came over to the curtis house in elementary school (shortly after he met Soda) he immediately felt as if he were home. whether it be because of the curtis family being so welcoming, or because the house had a sweet, pine smell to it. this was also shortly after his parents began to grow more distant, making his house feel colder and less like home.
- despite the fact that he's sometimes rude to Ponyboy, it's mainly because he sees him as his little brother/family (as he does with the rest of the gang) and picks on him almost by instinct.
