Fully man and fully God, Jesus became a human being in order to save you.
He was born, named, circumcised, and presented in the temple for you. He fled into Egypt and return to Nazareth for you. He grew in wisdom and stature and sat at the feet of the teachers of the temple for you. He was baptized for you. He was tempted for you. He called the Twelve, turned water into wine, cleansed the temple, instructed Nicodemus, baptized, taught, healed the sick, raised the dead, preached, cast out demons, ate with tax collectors and sinners, gave parables, transfigured, and foretold His death and resurrection for you. He triumphantly entered Jerusalem for you. He instituted the Lord's Supper at the Passover for you. He was captured, beaten, mocked, interrogated, humiliated, tortured for you. He carried His cross for you. He was nailed to the cross for you, forgave the thief on the cross for you, pleaded to the Father for you, gave up His last breath for you, was pierced in His side for you. He was buried for you. He rested in the tomb on the Sabbath for you. And he rose from the dead for you, appeared to the women and to the disciples for you, comforted the men on the road to Emmaus, and took away Thomas's doubts for you. He ascended into heaven for you, where He sits at the right hand of the Father for you. He will come back for you, and He is always interceding for you before the Father.
