my new rabbit cage extension! there is a door to the very right of the actual cage in the loo area, which can be opened so that the bunnies can still access the rest of the room while i am present. so far, only cub has managed to escape (as usual) by using one of the wooden ledges seen in the picture. they have since then been repositioned. it's not much but it's way more than there was before, they were spending 2-5 hours outside the cage a day, but only when i was home. now they can spend all day on the carpet, plus those hours outside the enclosure when i'm home.

How to Build PVC Cage Racks

Finally!  A proper instructional on how to build these super simple and surprisingly stable racks for stacking rabbit cages!  The pattern for these was given to me by James at Barking Hen Farm, but it’s not anything patented, just really simple and set up in such a way that you have very little waste when you’re done.

These racks hold two cages, one on top, on on bottom, with one slanted waste collection tray in between them.  You could probably put another waste tray on the bottom, but because I have my cages outside, I don’t mind the poop from my bottom cages falling on the ground.

Anyway, onto the supplies list and photos!

What you’ll need:

About four 10-foot, 1″ diameter PVC pipes Eight 1″ PVC elbows (make sure they aren’t threaded) Eight 1″ PVC tees (again, make sure they aren’t threaded) #6 x 3/4″ Wood screws (or your favourite short screws) Eight 3/4″ to 1 and 3/4″ pipe clamps Four washers (whatever size that fits the screws you want to use) PVC cutters or a miter saw A rubber Mallet

Make sure your PVC pipes are all Schedule 40 - this is the thickness of the walls of the pipe.  Our hardware store has some that are much thinner and probably won’t hold the weight of a cage + a 10lb rabbit without bowing.

These are the screws and pipe clamps I used.  I found the 1/4″ to 1 and 1/4″ pipe clamps much too small.

How to Build the Cages

Step one, lay out and mark your PVC pipe in order to cut it with your cutters or your trusty miter saw.  I recommend sacrificing a couple pipes to use as your masters - a pattern to use for all the rest of the cage racks you’ll likely be building (because who only has two rabbits?)

Here are the cuts you’ll need to measure out and make:

Eight 30″ Two 6″ Two 8.5″ Two 18.5″ Two 21.5″ Two that are the width of your cages - 24″, 30″ 36″, doesn’t matter, this design is versatile

Don’t forget to wear your eye protection and sweep up if you use a saw.  You don’t want PVC shards in or eyes or in the environment.

Take four of your 30″ pipes and attach them like this with elbows and tees.  Use the mallet to make sure they’re in there super tight.

Next, take one of your 6″ pipes and one of your 8.5″ pipes and hammer them into the tops of the tees, topping with two more tees facing outward.  These make the slant for the waste tray to screw into later.  Then, on top of these, take your 18.5″ and 21.5″ pipes and set them into the tops of these tees, the shorter one going on top of the 8.5″ piece, and the longer on top of the 6″ one.  You want them to be even at the top when you’re done.

Close the top with another 30″ pipe and two elbows.  Congrats, one half of the rack is done!

Now do it again.

When you have both halves put together, set the pipe that you cut to the width of your cages into the tees that face outward of one half, then set the other half on top.  Again, hammer these in so they’re super tight.  These segments are what your waste tray will screw into.

Ta daa!  It’s hard to tell in the photos, but there’s a clear ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ to these - the larger bit will be on the bottom.  You’ll see what I mean when you have it together - it’s kinda hard to explain lol.  The two uneven pipes again are what you’ll screw the waste tray into, and the other two middle pipes are what you’ll hang your bottom cage onto.

Place screws in each tee to keep the pipes from popping apart.  These wood screws are pretty great for this - they’re really short so they won’t poke through.  You can pre-drill holes if you want, but I ended up breaking my only drill bit the right size, so I just pressured the screws in.  It worked fine, but my hands are really sore now, so plan accordingly.

Next you take your tray and attach it to the slanted part of the rack with screws and washers to keep it secure.  We just cut the front off of the plastic pull-out trays we already had and used those.  Update:  these proved inadequate very quickly.  the pans were not exactly the width of the cages, and the rabbits underneath frequently were urinated on by their upstairs neighbour.  These trays were quickly replaced with custom built ones made by a local welder.

Now it’s time to get your cages in!  The cages will actually hang from the tops and the bar underneath the slanted area, and the cage itself provides the pressure that keeps these racks from warping and wobbling!  Science.

Now, you might need a buddy to lift the cages for you so you can anchor them to the rack.  With a careful dance of using my legs and a 5 gallon bucket, I’m able to get them in myself, but it may be difficult for you if you aren’t particularly dextrous, strong, or tall :p

I attached the cages to the rack with hose clamps - super simple, super inexpensive, can be attached from the outside (so no climbing into the cages to screw anything in,) and are removable!  Which is very important if you want to be able to replaces cages easily.  You can also use zipties if you want something even easier, but they won’t be quite as secure.

And you’re done!  They take maybe half an hour tops to put together, and you only need a pal (or lots of strength and stamina,) for the very last step and only for a few minutes.  

And here’s what it looks like put together:

They aren’t necessarily the most beautiful things in the world, but hey, they work, they’re cheap, and easy to put together.  Even I, with my obsession with things being “Right” (and it’s really arbitrary what “right” is, thanks to my weird brain,) can appreciate that.

Michael Daisy Afton

She's a people pleaser, she wants to make everyone around her happy,especially her relatives.

 She lacks a sense of self and identity most of her life,clinging to her father's side,hoping he will lead her down the right path. Michael understands some aspects of herself but,overall doesn't have a real motive or drive until she's much older and that was only to take down her father.

But,overall all she tries to be careful and calm,avoids hurting others as much as she can and tries to remain peaceful and gentle as possible.

And for my inspiration for her is no one really,I don't like basing chacaters on other characters, I usually just get a vague idea of what I want a chacater to be like and look like and work off of there!

Okay idk if youve designed em yet or anything, but im kind of vv curious on your versions of the missing kids in fnaf. who are they n stuff :o?

I got sketches of them but,no actual art of them ,F.

But,Jeremy(10) is the kind of kid who just learned the middle finger means and like to try and get up stage with the animatronics. He also like to make fun if employees mostly William! He also loves Foxy.

Susie(8) loves everything and everyone,she's overly kind and trusts and believes everyone. She's in child pageants and hates them,she gets pretty annoyed whenever people bring them up to her mostly whenever she's in the middle of playing pac-man.

Gabriel(7) hates going to Freddys,she hated the robots,the loud noises everything but,she does like Bonnie. Her favorite animals are rabbits and bunnies,she even has a pet name Johnathon.

Fritz(13) just goes to Freddy cause of his younger brother Jeremy loves Foxy. He doesn't do much there expect make sure Jeremy doesn't do anything to bad even if that means following him into restricted areas.

Android

 ⤷ Android  ⇢ Does Charlie Emily know that they are an android in the beginning, or does it follow the canon lore where they do not?

 Nope!She doesn't figure out until she's around 17.

Her memory is blurry whenever it comes thinking about her childhood,to her sometimes it feels she just woke up one day in her Aunt's house with vague memories of a blonde girl with a bracelet just like hers and a bunch of other kids,along with a very tall and weird man. She knows she misses certain people but she can't put a face or a name to most of them. 

Once she already and decides to go back to her old town does she learn what she is. 

She only went back to visit her father's grave and while doing so,she run into an officer. Who first thinks she's Sammy and starts talking to her about how great her father was before she asked who Sammy was and told him she was Charlie. 

In which the officer is offended by her "joke" and mentions how her grave wasn't even far from Henry's before storming away. 

This triggered something in Charlie causing her to remember everything that happened and realizing who that man was. She also remeber her death and every single thing before hand and starts to frak out because,if she dead then how is she here.

She is quick to call her Aunt who explains to her what she is and how Henry had made her out of grief and had trapped her spirit in her "body".
