Ho-boy! I’m ready to go!
(He-Man and the Masters of the Universe minicomic: Temple of Darkness)
I think in that case, I would drop the Ant-Man gig and be like Ram-Man or something like that. Butt heads with the bad guys. Literally and figuratively I guess.
They go bowling
Epic sorceress battle! TEELA looks amazing!
Oh Skeletor, you really need to let go of this grudge.
RAM-MAN is back!!!
”Hi Mom!” Love it.
Skeletor, stop being an attention whore.
Evil-Lyn, of course the universe has no order that we can comprehend. Yes, we are but specks. The task before us to FIND meaning, MAKE meaning in spite of that. To be human is to make meaning, even when meaning seems elusive. You can do that too! I know you can.
did you see the new trailer for the CGI He-Man yet?
I did. Just this morning, actually.
It's still too fresh in my mind for me to form solid coherent opinions about it.
I will say that it is very clearly made for a different audience from me and so I and other veteran fans like me should show respect and not clown on it.
I did like how they seemed to be giving a larger role to the women characters. It looked like the Sorceress was no longer trapped in Castle Grayskull but was going on missions with and helping He-Man fight Skeletor on the front lines along with Teela and I liked that. I liked that a lot!
I also read a summary several months back that did not mention the Sorceress at all, but instead named the main team as Adam, Teela, Man-at-Arms, and Krass, which after seeing the trailer could imply that they made either Man-at-Arms or Ram-man into a woman, and I'm okay with that too.
I like how they're utilizing the Keldor backstory. <3
I'm not sure how I feel about them making him human. I liked the blue skin and pointed ears. They appealed to me aesthetically. But as long as the political motivation is there and they didn't give him a Fridge Wife, I think I'll still love him.
What I did not like was the designs for He-Man and Skeletor. Their chests were so puffed up and inflated. They looked like balloons. Just great big torsos with arms. Ugh. That's gonna take some getting used.
