Jon's chapter was interesting it was nice to finally be introduced to Dolorus Edd. Sam teaching the birds to talk was cute. The conversations everyone had was interesting I wonder what drove the Wildlings to abandoned their villages. I remember much from the show but could it be that they left to join Mance?

I find Arya's chapters painful to read. She is a horrible situation there trying to go home when there is war everywhere. The description of the destructions are so vivid. I was with Arya when she said that they shouldn't stay there. I wish they had listened to her. This was a painful chapter to read especially during the battlei felt for so bad for the crying little girl she is just 2. Hot Pie screaming "Hot Pie" During the battle made me laugh. I feel bad for Arya she is also just 9 or 10. All of them are so young for this.

Varys and Tyrion are an interesting pair. The small council meeting was fun, Cersei acting as if she is innocent lol.

The little Walders are really annoying. It's nice to see Bran acting as Lord of Winterfell doing court matters and stuff. Osha is really interesting. It's nice to see Luwin and Ser Rodrik being parental figures to him. The last part was intense.

Sansa's chapter was interesting. So was Dontos I wonder what happens to him. I don't like the Hound he gives me the creeps.

Tyrion and Cersei's dynamic is so interesting. She and Tyrion know how much she hates him he still tries to comfort her.

I really liked the harvest feast chapter. I am so happy to meet Meera and Jojen. Rickon is so cute.

I feel so bad for Catelyn she is just tired of being strong for everyone. She wants to be comforted as well. Her husband dead, her daughters taken captive, her eldest leading a war and her two youngest far away.

I am really enjoying Jon chapters. I noticed that in this book he smiled and laughs a lot than he did in AGOT. I really liked when Jon vouched for Sam. I really liked the description of nature. I really like his interactions with other NW brothers whether negative or positive. The conversation between Gilly and Jon made me sad. The conversation between The Old Bear and Jon was interesting, I really like when they talk.

Reading Tyrion’s tenth chapter is painful. I am once again reminded how much I dislike this guy.

I honestly don't know how to put my thoughts into words so I just write "it's interesting" "It's painful" "It's sad". I want to do better with it. Dagmer Cleftjaw is an interesting character. He is old but still dream of glory. I like that Theon is using is knowledge of people of Winterfell to capture it.

Arya's chapters always have important information and show us the life of the commonfolk who have been captured. I hate seeing Arya like this she deserves to be at home with her brothers. I feel bad for all the other people there. I am glad Weese is dead I hated him. I haye Rorge too I hope he dies too.

Seriously Tyrion is smart. That plan to free Jaime would have worked if Edmure hadn't returned in time. Edmure is really sweet and compassionate I love that he gave the smallfolk shelter in the castle. Though he is really prideful it's not wise to offer battle to Tywin. If he wents forward with the battle I hope it's a good plan but I can't say for sure. When she thought "He takes the risk for a baseborn boy?" Relating to Penrose protecting Edric Storm, I thought "Not everyone is like you". Catelyn's chapters are so painful to read. Especially when Ned's bones were returned.

I don't like the Qatheen at all, especially that Xaro I hope Dany leaves soon. Jorah is giving me the creeps from this book onwards. But he is right they shouldnt stay in one place for a long time and should leave Qarth and also win a few lords from Westeros over.

I hate Joffrey so much, it was so satisfying when Tyrion slapped him. I feel so bad for the people of King's Landing, they are starving while their King feasts. I felt bad for that mother whose children died probably of hunger. I feel bad for Sansa for what she had to see. I feel bad for Lollys for what she endured in the riots. They were innocent. I feel bad for Tyrion that King's Landing hates him for he is the only one trying to help them somehow.

I am so confused lol. What happened? What is the child that Melissandre have birth too? Is it the shadow? Davos is a good man despite his past. I can feel is despair seeing the just man he knew fading away. I like Davos, I want to see more of him.

Jon has carpentry skill?? Why didn't we know that? He said he fasioned himself a wooden hilt for the dragonglass. I love Edd he is funny. I really love that Jon laughs and smiles this book more than in AGOT, I like seeing him smiling and laughing. I really like that Qhorin Halfhand chose Jon.

I am done with exams and I am finally reading A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin.

So the prologue was kind of boring to read. It felt so slow, but i enjoyed every character that appeared, Maesters Cressen and Pylos, Patchface and Shireen, Stannis and Davos, Selysey and Melisandre. I felt so bad for Cressen when he died, he just wanted to protect the boys who he considered his sons.

Arya's chapter was painful to read. She is grieving her father. And that part where Yoren beats her so much that she can't even sit made me shed a few tears. Oh poor Arya.

I haven't finished Sansa's chapter. But its so sad the reason she prefers Arys Oakheart is because he protested before hitting her and did not hit her as hard.

I kind of knew that Esred was Asha and when Theon was.... being Theon I felt second hand embarrassment lol. I hid my face in my hands. I felt bad for Theon coming back home after 10 years and realising nothing is the same anymore and no loves you there.

As readers we understand how high the stakes are for the Night's Watch. The others might have trouble believing that dead are coming back to life. I love the court scenes and the small council scenes. I didn't expected Cersei to be as giddy as she was when she heard that Renly and Stannis will be warring each other. Tyrion poisoning Cersei took me by surprise even though he did take the poison from Pycelle. I also liked the confrontation of Pycelle. I hate Pycelle so much.

I forgot that they go to Harrenhal first then they get picked up by BWB. I dont remember much of the show after this point thankfully. I know she becomes a cupbearer for Tywin Lannister. I am so excited to read further.

I am worried for Dany, she is being to naive telling the sailor of her plans to take the Iron Throne back.

I like Meera and Jojen. I feel so bad for Lady Hornwood, she just lost her son and husband and now is kidnapped by a sadist. I hate Ramsey with a passion.

Arya's life in Harrenhal is sad but also interesting.

Catelyn seems well versed in history. First we learned of Harrenhal from her chapters then of Storm's End. I really liked the exchange during the parley. I feel bad for Catelyn she wants peace, she wants her daughters and she wants to go home to her dying father and sons. Catelyn was right Cersei did laugh her breathless laughter when she heard Stannis had gone to Renly.

I feel so bad for Sansa and I hate Joffrey so much. That scene in the court room was so painful to read.

Catelyn's chapter are so sad to read. You can feel her grief and depression through the pages. Renly's death was so intense the moment he is dead the Lords burst in and accuse Brienne and attack her and Catelyn screaming it wasn't her but it's late and everything is chaotic, I love chaos. I feel bad for Brienne she loved him.

I really love the bond Ghost and Jon have. The scene where Ghost led Jon to the grave was intense, I was so on edge I was scared something was going to jump and attack. But I was still surprised when they found that grave. I wonder what it's about.

I don't think I can dislike the Walders more than I do now. They didn't even pretend to grieve their uncle. I also hate Ramsey Bolton, I was so sad to hear the way Lady Hornwood died and the description was horrifying.

I liked how Tyrion is soft with his niece and nephews and Tommen wanting to joust was so cute. Tommen and Myrcella running to him was so whole some. I loved Tyrion and Cersei's dynamic. You can just feel her hatred of him seething through the pages. I liked how GRRM show the effects of war on the smallfolk. I

Jon is my favorite character, so i might be biased 😅.

I really liked his first chapter. I really liked his conversations with Sam Tarly, Donal Noye and Lord Mormont.

I like how sweet he is with Sam, their friendship has a special place in my heart. I like how he is trying reassure Sam about the great ranging. I like Sam's love of books and history that doesn't really seem important. I mean I would love to know what people ate a hundreds of thousand year ago.

I like how Jon is loyal to Robb, it's nice to know more about Donal Noye and how he used to be a smith for the Baratheons and metal analogies about the Baratheon brothers. I like that even if the brothers swear an vow they still don't fully let go of their loyalties that's too realistic as it would be hard to let go of loyalties that you have had your whole life so easily.

I like Mormont and his raven both are a lovely pair. I also like Jon and Mormont their conversations about Kings were so interesting, I wonder if it's forshadowing. I like how it said that Jon is troubled by the fact that Robb is king, and he would dress in silk and satins and velvet of different colours. While Jon would live and die in black mail. Robb would marry a princess and have sons. While Jon would never hold a son of his blood. There would be songs about Robb's smallest deeds while Jon's greatest deeds will go unnoticed. It troubles him anyone would be a liar to say it doesn't trouble them. He will be troubled but he will keep is vows.

Again like I said before I like how GRRM has a way with words. This is an exchange between Jon and Mormont.

"If it did trouble me, what might I do, bastard as I am?"

"What will you do? Bastard as you are"

"Be troubled and keep my vows"

I don't like Ser Dontos he is creepy. It's creepy that he keeps calling himself Sansa's Florian and her his Jonquil. The scene where she got her period was intense poor Sansa not knowing what to do burnt her sheets, blankets and mattress.

I really liked we saw Jon in Ghost's mind. I like soft Jon is with Ghost, I like how she was whispering soothing words when they were tending to Ghost's wounds.

This chapter i was screaming internally "No Tyrion don't say that dont even act like the person that she thinks you are, it's all going to come back and stab you in the back" And when he said the line about ashes is her mouth, oof. This is bad.

I feel so bad for Catelyn she lost her husband and thinks her young sons also died. She is on depression. Jaime is trying to be so cocky to avoid feeling vulnerable (or atleast i think he is). I knew how Rickard and Brandon Stark died but hearing it from Jaime was chilling and horrifying.

Theon is a fool lol. I love his character though. He should have gone with Asha. He should have told that Bran and Rickon ran away. Now he has enemies everywhere. I do feel bad for him for getting taken away from home at an young age but I can't forgive him for betraying Robb. He did not think taking Winterfell through. I wonder what will happen next. This chapter I realized something that I knew that he is doomed by the narrative.

I find Shae interesting but I don't like her as much. I hate their relationship. I also surprisingly hated Tyrion when he slapped Shae. It pains me to watch them knowing how their relationship will end. Varys's past is interesting living just to spite lol that's the spirit. I like Tyrion and Varys's friendship or whatever they have going on.

Catelyn's chapter always brings my mood down in a good way. She has so much regret in her heart because she feels she condemned her family by sending Ned South. Her thoughts about Jon are always interesting, she has the same questions as us but we know the answers and we would have treated the child with kindness.

It was nice Summer's perspective and his thought of Ghost. I hate Theon right now and I hated that he killed Mikken and he crossed the line when he made th beat Hodor up. I feel bad for Rickon he is just a little child. Poor Bran thinking that Osha betrayed him. It's sad how everything fell apart from House Stark within a year. Overall I really liked this chapter.

I like this chapter it seems that Arya's life in Harrenhal has gotten a little better since Weese died, like how freely she talks with Hot Pie, and suggests to spit in the pies and how she tells Gendry that in his next helm he should put Mule's horns instead of a bull's.I liked Arya and Jaqen's conversation in the Godswood and I liked how she tricked them into freeing the northmen. I wish she had told Robett Glover her identity, I think he can be trusted and we all Roose Bolton cannot be trusted.

Did Dany see the Red Wedding in the House of the Undying Ones? Dany saw her father. Was he talking to Jaime Lannister when he said to let him (probably Rhaegar) be king of ashes. We saw Elia and Rhaegar and little Aegon. Did Dany mistake the Stag banner of Baratheon for a stallion? Did she also see a glimpse of the Tourney at Harrenhal? Did the Undying showed her the future as well?

Everytime I read about the troubles of the smallfolk my heart breaks a little. More wildfyre under the dragonpit. I wonder if Aerys put it there.

Theon is delusional lol. He wants the people of Winterfell to see him as their protector after he invaded their home and killed their men.

I love that Jon is joking with the NW brothers this book. I liked when they climbed up the mountain it was intense and I liked a description of it. Yay! We finally met Ygritte. I liked the story of Bael the Bard. I also liked that we saw Jon's stubbornness how he was unwilling to believe the Bael the Bard story when it could have been a story from the perspective of the Wildlings, I liked when Jon interrupted her like a little kid.
