The real question is how well do your favorite ships work in the slap on titan-verse? new aot discourse let’s go!

Speaking strictly about A Slap on Titan, my favourite ships in that universe are Reijean, Aruani, Rivetra, and Reimin.

Reijean because "Who's going to stand outside and cheer me on when I take a dump now? Who's gonna insist on playing 'Does this look like a vagina?' every lunchtime?" sold me on the bond between Reiner and Jean.

Reimin because it seems that in every Abridged Series, Reiner must take a single look at Armine and fall in love.

Rivetra because the "choreplay" joke and the "Horseface, you can't do better than me, so..." moment lives rent-free in my head.

And Aruani because

Yall this has taken me forever and I’m still not fully satisfied with it but I don’t see myself working on it any longer bc I wanna get to other things, plus I’m getting back into coloring so ik it looks different (prolly shouldn’t have taken a break from coloring oop) anyways this is just more of my Armin Crimson King AU with details and stuff.

At some point I thought I drew Armin’s eyes too “narrowed”(?)/tired bc for some reason he looked like Levi bc of the dark eye circles but I figured it’s just the tired look in his face that made him look like that and I thought it really got it across that Armin rly does not sleep in this.

I made some headcanons in my head that sometimes Armin and Ymir will sleep together bc the trauma and things they went through before they overthrew Marley was too much to handle and they find solace and comfort in each other. However I did not have space to actually draw that more clearly, only the little bit of them here all bloody and in cell (ik it doesn’t look like it but pretend they’re in a cell lmao). I rly tried to stay true to how armin looks like but his nose is so hard to draw ngl. I also planned on having the bruised armin be more skinny and malnourished looking but switched it out to have King Armin be that way a bit instead, I feel it makes more visual sense that he looks like he’s recovering from something bc it would make sense with context.

Btw I don’t think I ever mentioned it but Armin in this is a Tybur that Bert and Reiner bring back with them along with Ymir to the mainland. This is also why he is able to maintain his hold on the throne and have such consistent support for his and Reiner’s Rule. My earlier art has Armin with long hair but this is before he grows it out. I want to give the impression that Armin takes on a more “handsome” and masculine look in the early years of his reign before he starts to become more feminine looking overtime. Mainly to keep up with his image in the kingdom and appearances to intimidate neighboring countries. Though Reiner seems to have them covered in that department.

The relationships in this au are also very complicated and ambiguous bc I feel like that plays well into their psyche. Bert may or may not have developed something for Armin along the way. Armin may or may not be using Bert for his own reasons and twisted comfort he gets from his affections with the knowledge he has of their previous lives (will explain this later bc it will be part of the plot but won’t reveal too much bc there’s a solid plot point that is involved that instigates the whole story, but Armin is the only one that has any recollection of their lives. He sort of experiences a time regression?? Some of the other characters regain memories of their previous life as well but they’re not enough to piece together what they mean or what happened)

Ymir and Armin may or may not have shared a kiss or two in desperate moments. Reiner hates Armin and Armin hates Reiner but Reiner’s other personality adores him and Armin knows it so he exploits that about him. Very messy lol. Not a love triangle or a square but a squiggle? This story also heavily involves the warriors and Zeke but I haven’t gotten to that yet. I have an art that’s been cooking for a solid yr now for that😭

Other than that, Ymir and Armin are intially regarded as prisoners of war/spoils and are tortured for a solid year before their planned Coúp. They would’ve died if Armin did not have the knowledge of the main land and managed to convince the warriors and the Tybur family to turn against Marley. But yeah…..I’m a certified yapper.🗣️🗣️🗣️

Had another Attack on Titan dream last night. Reiner used to be married to Bertholdt, but Bertl mysteriously died. Reiner got remarried to Armin, but upon Armin moving into Reiner’s big fancy house, he began hearing horrible gut-wrenching sobbing every night. And they seemed to be coming from the attic.

Reiner REALLY didn’t want Armin to be snooping around the attic, so he did his best to convince Armin that the crying he was hearing were hallucinations. But Armin was super curious, so he kept trying to investigate. Amin was eventually able to steal the keys to the attic from Reiner while he was sleeping and go into the attic while the crying was happening.

Bertholdt was there, chained to a metal loop nailed into the wall, sitting on a bed and crying. Bertholdt stopped crying from shock at seeing the new guy Reiner had been talking to him about and was like “dude you need to get away from Reiner RIGHT NOW. I tried to leave him and he locked me in here for the past 2 years.” Armin was like “don’t worry, I’ll get you out too!!!” But then Reiner showed up and overpowered Armin, locking him in the attic too.

Cut to 3 years later, and Reiner was on husband #3 with Jean. Jean had just married Reiner after his first husband, Marco, had mysteriously died (Reiner had killed him so he could marry Jean). Eren and Mikasa, Armin’s childhood friends, were convinced that Reiner had done something to Armin (which was true) but hadn’t been able to prove it or even figure out what exactly had happened to him. Reiner went up to the attic the night after he moved Jean into his house to bring his other 2 husbands food and stuff. He was talking about how happy he was to be married to 3 wonderful men. But Armin and Bertholdt had bonded during the past 3 years and were now dating behind Reiner’s back. When Reiner left they both looked really sad and talked about how worried they were about Jean. Then I woke up.

Earlier that same night I had a different dream where Bertholdt force-femmed Reiner. The duality of man I guess

I feel like this is going to be So Unorganized but I just have so many thoughts that it's inevitable at this point lol

so first off,,

as you can obviously tell, armin is my CHILD. my son. my reason for being tbh. so I'm gonna start with him

I love the idea of armin being like, stupid ticklish. he gives like "you just look ticklish" vibes, impossible to fight me on this. obv eren tickles him the most, and sometimes mikasa, ever since then were kids. also reiner tickles him fairly often (lowkey realllllly love reimin or arurei or whatever their ship name is lol), and jean also to a lesser extent (also love jearmin!). armin is really ticklish everywhere but his thighs are his WORST spot, like he just breaks down into helpless squealing laughter. his knees and hips and sides are also pretty bad. idek man I'll probably have to make a separate post for him sometime bc I have 1000000000 thoughts tbh and I want to do other characters in this post too hahaha

EREN okay eren. I'm always torn between his ribs and his neck and his tumby for his worst spot, depends on my mood I guess lol but he is also ticklish everywhere. he is DRAMATIC when he's tickled, like he yells and swears and makes threats, even when it's just someone like armin or mikasa tickling him which he doesn't even really mind. when it's someone like jean tho he goes actually feral, will bite 100%. is also totally the person to deny he's ticklish, like armin will poke his ribs to get his attention (not even meaning to tickle him) and eren will YELP and when connie or someone is like "woah, are you okay?" mikasa will just go "oh yeah he's fine, he's just really ticklish" and eren goes red and he's like "SHUT UP MIKASA NO I'M NOT" also will probably have to make an eremin specific post at some point lol

okay reiner. literally reiner is the best ler, he's so fun but careful and he's def the resident tickle monster (so is connie but in a more annoying way lmao). tickles armin quite a bit, like he's made it his mission to make armin smile (bc armin is CUTE), but he's more like fun and gentle when tickling armin. when it's eren or berthold or connie he's way meaner lmao like he will make them scream on principle alone. reiner is most ticklish on the backs of his ribs, makes him laugh super LOUD and DEEP and it's actually awesome. but bc he can turn the tables so easily if the others want to get him good for longer than 10 seconds they have to like, dogpile him lol

random segue to levi, idk I just thought of him next lol. most ticklish on his hips and the sides of his back. like if erwin really wants to make him squirm he'll tickle the sides of levi's back suuuuper gently with his nails until levi actually whines (and then punches him lmao). honestly canon-verse I don't think anyone tries tickling him.. in a head canon-verse where he and erwin are together (like the hc I just gave lol) I feel like erwin tickles him a lot when they're cuddling or early in the morning, whenever levi's guard/aggression is down more, and his laugh is all stutter-y and raspy and it's actually really really cute. these are pretty much my only thoughts on levi bc I feel like his character is hard to add tickles to without it being super out of character (super impressed when people write tickle fics with levi that actually feel levi-esque, definitely not something I could accomplish so it always leaves me in awe) , but they're Very Important to me and I stand by them!!!

ummmmm okay I have so many more TOO MANY MORE this is too chaotic. I could make this 10000 pages long

KAZ PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT SPECIFIC CHARACTER OR SCENARIO OR EXTENSIONS OF THESE IN MIND FOR HEADCANONS OKAY I NEED TO SCREAM ABOUT THIS AND I HAVE UNLIMITED THOUGHTS FOR MY AOT BABIES!!!!!
