I've been reminded of two more amputation scenes! What even is this show?

1) Lucius's finger - inarguably comedic

2) Izzy's toe - arguably comedic

3) Ricky's nose - inarguably comedic

4) Izzy's leg - horrifying but inarguably comedic

i think ricky has the potential to be such a cool parallel to stede with how much he tries to relate himself to him with the whole thing about how they both come from money but then clearly showing that he has no respect for anyone that isn't upper class, plus based on the trailers it very much looks like he goes running back to the empire and his inherited wealth after his stupid actions inevitably caught up with him, i just think it is/will be really interesting to see why stede ended up fitting in but ricky didn't

prince ricky is just a combination of s1 stede and s1 izzy. naive and only a pirate for the aesthetic like stede and selfish and unaccepting like izzy. and the way he contrasts against them in s2 where stede has learned to be more than just an instagram influencer pirate and izzy has learned to see himself as part of the crew instead of just the guy giving them orders

I'm posting this before I watch the new episodes.

I have multiple ideas of what could happen in episodes 6/7

1. Izzy and wee John comfort scene where wee John thinks he's not pretty or fit for the dress he has and Izzy gives him a pep talk

2. I'm gonna think of the royal pony wedding from MLP atleast twice in the drag episode

3. Stede and Ed necking like teens after Stede gets hurt because they realize that they've almost lost each other so many times

4. Alternatively, after the drag show thingy Stede and Ed get drunk and do dumb shit then wake up in the morning like "oh shit we said we'd take it slow-"

5. Lucuis and Pete need to kiss during the drag show. Pls.pls.pls.

6. Jim getting help from Olu or Archie with their mustache that they have drawn on (Fucking love that for them)

7. Stede possibly getting new outfits for everyone at a port because OMG they wanna wear fancy stuff??? Yes please (Alternatively they all secretly got fancy stuff to surprise Stede maybe?)

8. Symbolism between Izzy, Stede and Edward with the red hibiscus's

9. Edward sobbing his eyes out whenever Stede gets hurt??? Yes pls.

10. SWEDE BEING SO IN LOVE WITH JACKIE (his Fucking outfit is gonna make me scream I love it)

11. Jackie and zheng looking at Stede and Edward like 🤢 anytime they try to be cute together when they team up

12. Ricky pulling the 'you lead me down this path! You're at fault for/ why I lost my nose / or /why I became this way/ and Stede being like "??? What??"

I have so many more ideas but I'm going to leave this as the list for now.

Also I know I'm gonna cry when Izzy sings. I Fucking know it and I plan to post a drawing of me crying over it tomorrow.
