It turns out that all of the tension in this issue is instigated by Phoenix’s imminent return to Earth, and the fact that Rachel is still unwittingly carrying around all her mother’s baggage from that time she committed genocide against that one civilization. Which is bullshit because how pissed would you be if you got blamed for eating a star when you had never even eaten a star before. I’d be like, fuck you then, if you are going to sit there and call me a dirty star eater, I’m going to go eat some motherfucking stars and we’ll see how you like it. Where’s the catsup and wasabi.
