I really think I need someone to explain to me like I’m five why Inej wanted to be in a ship. It signifies freedom, sure okay, but why does it mean freedom to her in specific?

I remember when I first read the books that I was genuinely confused why she had that thought of wanting to be a pirate when she was climbing the shaft in the ice court, I remember it coming out of nowhere.

In my head, unless she read it in a book as a kid or something it makes no sense for her to ever link ships with freedom because the suli don’t travel by ships!! Freedom for them is the road, the caravan, their ancestral paths and camps. And now for Inej specifically, her first contact with a ship (im assuming) ever was when she was kidnapped.

I read the books a long time ago so I can be wrong but I still don’t understand where it came from and if someone could help explain it to me I would be very grateful lol

Tendrían dos, una chica y un chico.

El primer embarazo sucedería al poco de casarse. No era buscado, pero mientras Nikolai se alegraría Zoya tendría sus dudas; le parecía que todo había sucedido muy rápido y no estaba lista para ello.

Todos los pensamientos negativos que había sentido cambiarían a todo lo contrario cuando la tuvo en brazos por primera vez.

No querría que nadie se acercara a ella y siempre la estaría vigilando, costándole mucho a Nikolai y a sus amigos en el Gran Palacio que la dejara por unos minutos en el cuidado de otra persona.

Su nombre sería Liliyana y su título tsarevichitsa*.

Sus padres la querrían mucho. Sería una copia de Zoya; aunque el sentido del peligro lo sacaría de su padre.

Sus padres pensaron que era una otkazat'sya, porque no mostró ningún atributo grisha. Pero luego Zoya descubrió que era Sastre.

El segundo embarazo sería buscado, pero este sería más difícil de conseguir.

Llamarían al niño Dominik, en honor al amigo de Nikolai. Su título sería tsarevich.

Tendría el aspecto físico de su padre pero la forma de ser de su madre.

Los dos se llevarían muy bien de pequeños, aunque se irían distanciando después de los años.

Él desde muy pequeño mostraría las dotes de Vendaval, igual que su madre.

Liliyana sería la favorita de su padre y Dominik de su madre.
