Reading Thousand Autumns: Chapter 40

Yes, I did indeed miss DILF time yesterday. I bring you slightly earlier chapter today. I might do a second chapter this evening, but no promises!

Let's get into chapter 40!

My god, I'm so curious who this is. Whoever it is though, they sound OP as fuck. p.125

That's a surprisingly kind refusal. p.127

This guy is honestly trying every trick to get Shen Qiao to go with him for a visit. "Will you abandon your master's guiding principles and policies just like that?" p.128

SO many attempts! He tried to bait Shen Qiao, use his morals against him, and now offered to allow him a space to heal. This guy is willing to bend heaven and earth for Shen Qiao. p. 130

LMAO Of course Yan Wushi chooses now to waltz in and cause a spectacle. p.131

This fight feels like two powerful masters fighting for Shen Qiao's honour. p.132

Dou Yanshan of the Liuhe guild is there too. Damn, everyone wants a chance to fight Yan Wushi. p.133

I'm dying LMAO. Did Bai Rong low ley ask Shen Qiao to call her mommy? "If you don't want to call me Rong-Niang-" p.135

Bai Rong is like so close to being able to integrate into society, but then she does stuff like asks Shen Qiao to sleep with her in lieu of thanks. p.136

I feel like this story is moving into a "I didn't know we were dating plotline" with the way that Shen Qiao is just going along with whatever label people give him and Yan Wushi. p.137

That art of their fight is fire!!! Like two gods clashing. The waterfall- so picturesque. p.141

I'm waiting for the moment when Bai Rong realizes why she has no chance with Shen Qiao. p.143

I low key want these two [Shen Qiao and Bai Rong] to be besties! I love Bai Rong's deviousness paired with Shen Qiao's prudishness. The dynamic is excellent for hot mess situations. The one ADHD friend who ends up in a bar fight and their pal who posts bail. p.145

Oh, damn. Very anti-climactic end to this fight. p.145
