The Rise of Skywalker

Ok so I need to write my feelings about this movie

* SPOILERS*

First I LOVED every part up until the last 15-10 minutes , every thing I loved and love about starwars was there, we were getting endings and closing cycles, we got to see the original ships, great battles, and our beloved heroes were there, the Jedi voices, EVEN FUCKING PALPATINE. And then came the big Raylo scene, first I have to say I WAS SHIPPING IT SINCE THE VERY BEGINIG and waiting for that beautiful moment the culmination of our newest space romance, througout the movie they were giving us hints everything pointed at Rey and Ben ending up happily together, the dyad in the force, the balance, the bond that would end the war, I mean the TENSION BETWEN THOSE WAS HUGE and we saw it coming, they were constatly saving each other in many ways and THEY SHOWED US the bond they had was strong, UGH I can’t even begin to describe HOW I LOVED THE DEVEOPMENT OF THIS LOVE STORY , THEY LITERALLY TOLD US THEY WERE SOULMATES, and so Ben saves Rey with the Force, Music intensifies and BAM!! WE GET OUR LONG AWAITED KISS a beautiful moment Ben similes for the first time EVER, and then fucking DIES, I MEAN WHAT! But the thing is, nothing is setting the mood for it, it was not a tragical moment, WE DONT EVEN SEE RAY MOURNING HIS DEAD her soulmate is dead and she just goes like “meh” Not even the music lines up with it ,we dont get a tragic mood, and from that moment on Ben’s existence is completely ignored not even a last moment as a ghost NOTHING just gone I mean the last Skywalker is gone and we dont get that reflected, so IK Rey also becomes a skywalker still, this didn’t make sense to me and after reading all of your post my fellow Starwars and Raylo fans I’m glad to see I’m not alone THIS STORY WAS MEANT FOR SOMETHING DIFERENT AND IT SHOWS, I mean we have mention all the hints and don’t get me started with the bad edditing. I was really upset and think we really deseved a better ending, In fact I still am a bit upset everything was PERFECT. I am kinda hopping Ben is still out there you know with all the world between worlds theory and stuff so they can have a happily ever after, but on the other hand I know theres almost no chance for it and yeah, Im dead, the brigth side is: Raylo is canon, I love it, I ship it, Im a big fan of those two and just asgfjekdlandbfhe Love it can’t get enough. (Still I love the saga and the cast and they should get all our love an support as a fandom)

I don't like the ship of rey x kylo but one of my friends does and i know a lot of people harrass people who ship them and im scared that my friend will get harassed again because of the new movie. I hate it when people are mean to my friends.

Okay okay, new star wars movies was amazing, but like let me just shout an idea out. [Spoilers]

An au where hux and Ben both survive and join the rebellion. And like hux is already at the base when Ren lands and Ben jumps out and Hux is like "what the fuck, I was the mole so you'd lose!!"

And Ben is just snuggling Rey with the finger up at Hux

Just saying, I mean, I'd love to ruin Hux's life just a little bit
