the ian and caleb breakup is so funny to me bc ians just like "no, i'm not leaving because you cheated, i'm leaving because you're bisexual!"
both ian and caleb have a very strong case of assuming that queer men who don't experience attraction the same way that they do are Weird, and caleb has a case of internalized homophobia (saying that men should always want to sleep with women to some degree because of Biology) and a case of being a cheating little bitch
(A Distant Echo) - Anakin adds leading an illegal military operation against a neutral party to his growing list of war crimes.
The 100 s7 episode titles
SPOILERS BELOW!! so sorry i don't know how to create one of those cut thingies
Okay, so i haven't seen anyone theorise about the episode titles yet so here it goes. So according to imdb the first episode titles are From the Ashes, The Garden, False Gods, Hesperides and Welcome to Bardo. Lets break these down shall we?
From the Ashes - obviously refers to the “from the ashes we will rise” saying of the grounders which then was revealed to have a connection to the second dawn people. I believe this title just plainly refers to the fact that this was the first episode and we saw Clarke and co. struggle with the new society they had to build. Also, Clarke quite literally created the ashes from which this new society will rise after burning the palace at the end of the episode.
The Garden - here is where it all gets interesting. We know that the official name of the planet in which we see Hope grow up is called Planet Beta. We also know that the name Skyring was created by Hope when she was just 3. However, why is this episode named “The Garden” since no one in the episode refers to it as such? I believe this is the name that the disciples from Bardo call Skyring. I will talk about that later in “Hesperides.” Also the fact that the two “serpents” that fought over Eden in s5 are now living together in an idyllic farm, thus leading more proof that the Garden might be its official name to some people.
False Gods - on imdb the episode synopsis is “As Raven faces an unexpected threat, Clarke must keep the peace among opposing factions in Sanctum”. Now I don't know exactly what treat Raven faces but I believe that the episode title refers to Clarke’s storyline about keeping the peace. False Gods refers to the way the primes created their own history and mythology by becoming the gods of sanctum. As we saw in the first episode the cult of the primes is still very much alive on Sanctum which creates these tensions between those believers and the Children of Gabriel.
Now to the most interesting episodes in my opinion:
Hesperides - in Greek mythology (which has played A HUGE role in the story especially with the Blake siblings) Hesperides are nymphs of the sunset. According to Greek mythology they were in charge of taking care of a GARDEN. The Garden was believed to contain golden apples which would then give IMMORTALITY to anyone who consumed them. Sound familiar? I believe that these golden apples are represented in the show by the mind drives and the flame. Again we found out on 7x02 that Skyring is a place where prisoners are held. The episode synapsis goes: “Mysterious outsiders arrive with news of Clarke's missing people.” These mysterious outsiders are the people from Bardo aka the disciples who control Skyring or what they call it: The Garden. Thus, the disciples are literally the hesperides in this version of the story.
Welcome to Bardo - I believe that in this episode we finally get to see Bellamy again along with what happened to Octavia and Diyoza after they were taken in 7x02 to Bardo. There also has been a theory floating around about Bellamy being brainwashed which could factor in to this episode as well.
Wowowwww Rex loses his temper.
