peacemaker s2 trauma is real unfortunately
Peacemaker S2 is the story of a man faced with so much trauma and heartbreak he enters a world where all of his desires are fulfilled, only to have it blow up in his face and he kills his family again and the dad of a guy he killed made a deal with the devil to keep him stranded on a dinosaur planet or something.
Bold to finish the season with a really demented punchline. People will be mad. Should've been a movie.
7/10 cute season.
If I stop reading Salvation Run now I can pretend it's a tentacle hentai (and I think I will)
LEX LUTHOR & THE JOKER in SALVATION RUN (2007)
Peacemaker Season 2 ended by introducing "Salvation," a Multiversal prison where Chris Smith is currently the only inmate. Now, DC Studios h
Yeah, I don't particularly buy that the place Peacemaker ended up WAS in another dimension due to how haphazard ARGUS' testing was, but I'm curious if this is going somewhere or if this is just a precaution in case someone else tried to snipe the name ahead of that storyline getting more recognition.
Random Fact from the Salvation Run comic - Gorilla Grodd is canonically homophobic, and tried to beat Monsieur Mallah to death with the Brain's robotic casing (didn't stick, but the intention was there).
Personally I don't think that they'll actually follow through on the idea of exiled supervillains establishing their own working society where ever they're sent to, even if the idea of them actually liking having a world and status in their new world more than constantly being pursued by cops and superheroes back home is very funny.
Like those British convicts who were transported to Australia who ended up getting rich from gold or sheep, who didn't really feel inclined to return to Britain after their sentence was up for this reason.

With global war looming and a vicious killer on the loose, it’s a time of fear and paranoia for those living in Gotham! Bodies are turning up in theatrically gruesome ways…all staged with the killer’s calling card: a hangman’s noose. While the Bat-Man endeavors to solve the spate of murders, a young reporter from the Daily Star named Lois Lane arrives in Gotham. Though she is meant to cover a movie premiere, it doesn’t take long for Lane to find herself caught in the grips of a new villain in Gotham. One whose mastery of fear will plunge the city into chaos! The creative team of legendary writer Dan Jurgens (The Death of Superman, Booster Gold) and superstar artist Mike Perkins (The Swamp Thing) continue their pulp-noir adventure of the caped crusader in the early years of his vigilante career.
It's time to make more waves!
Retcons. Sometimes they fix a really bad take from a crappy writer when someone new takes over a title. Sometimes they delight one fan while horrify another. And sometimes they take one of the most important parts about a character and toss it in the trash so it erases all of the development about becoming a hero and belonging to a family even though they don't share any true connection and while the writer was at it they binned all of the personality traits that made the character fun and interesting and enjo- I'm getting carried away.
Which of these DC retcons do you think was the absolute worst?
Was it...
Sike! Superboy actually IS a clone of Superman. And Lex Luthor. For... Reasons
Barbara Gordon's paraplegia is cured. With. A... Computer chip
Maxwell Lord is a Beetle shooting murderer
Dick Grayson looooves to sleep around!
Two words: Salvation Run
Literally everything Grant Morrison did with Jason Todd
Mr Oz is actually Jor El*
Lian Harper is a teenager now
Len. Killed. Owen.
Just... Just the entirety of Fastest Man Alive**
🎶We don't talk about- the fact that Lois and Clark were killed and replaced🎶
Midnighter and Apollo have *shudders* names and backstories and memories
*Yes, I know this isn't technically a retcon, but I'm counting it as one.
**Take your pick- Bart is an adult now. Inertia wants to be evil. Pied Piper wants to be a villain again. The Rogues would murder a Flash.
