➼ He was extremely stiff the first time you two started cuddling. Aoyama didn't know what to do with his arms or hands, so he just kept them locked shut against his sides as you awkwardly hugged his side. The first few times, it's just like this, but as he gets more comfortable and comfortable... Tension begins to waver. Yuga gets unusually quiet during cuddles. He's right behind you, chest pressed to your back while one hand snakes around your waist as another slips under you to hold your hands in his, his chin rests comfortably on your shoulder. Cuddling with him after teaching him the basics is a good 8/10. Minus 2 points because Yuga sleep talks. In French.

➼ He is as rigid as a board. If it wasn't for you listening to his steady breathing, you'd think you were just hugging a massive conveniently placed log. You actually have to tell Tenya to untense and hug you or else he would just keep doing this night after night. Usually just slightly hugs you during his sleep, with an arm under you and around your waist as you cling to his side with your head resting on his heaving chest. In days he actually needs comfort (though doesn't admit it), Iida fully face flops into his bed while you're sat in it and rests his head in your chest, hugging you tight as he waits for you to reciprocate. Cuddles with him are always unexpectedly comfortable.

➼ Cuddling to Mashirao is just one out of the many favourite couple activities he loves doing with you. He never actually says it out loud, but when you're already laying down on his bed, he immediately crawls over to hug you tight and rest his head on your chest, it's because he loves being the little spoon. Ojiro would also have his back to your chest, but his tail kinda... Makes it difficult. Unless you don't mind having a massive tail crushing your legs in your sleep as you hug him from behind, it's always face first with him.

➼ Of course THIS GUY loves cuddles. He craves them, he needs them. A very essential part of your relationship. Doesn't matter who's the big spoon or the little spoon, Denki will take whatever he can. Though he's gotta admit... He does love being held and hugged tight. Maybe just a perverted part of him, Kaminari is also extremely touchy. Slipping a hand under your shirt to trace patterns onto your side, a hand gripping your thigh firmly while he naps, another hand groping at whatever skin he can. He's also a number one snorer. Good luck with that.

【 切島鋭児郎 — 𝗘𝗜𝗝𝗜𝗥𝗢 𝗞𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗔 】 ༉‧₊˚.

➼ Kirishima absolutely ADORES cuddles. You don't even have to ask him for them — you could just be walking over to his bedroom for a hang out and before you know it, Eijirou is already in his bed, lying down on his side as he grins ear-to-ear at you from his spot, patting down your side of his bed as if he was non-verbally saying "cuddles?". Always insists on being the big spoon. Not because it's just the manly thing to do, but yes because having his broad chest to your back, hugging you tight to him with your legs all tangled makes him feel protective over you. Eijirou doesn't even actually sleep when you two cuddle, he just holds you.

【 口田甲司 — 𝗞𝗢𝗝𝗜 𝗞𝗢𝗗𝗔 】 ༉‧₊˚.

➼ Was extremely shy to be so close to you like that, especially while the two of you rest... But the first time you two cuddled? Koda was in heaven. Really enjoys being the little spoon! Even if you are kind of awkwardly hugging him from behind like you're hugging a tree, it's still really enjoyable for him! And if you both enjoy being the little spoon, Koji also likes hugging you from the front, with his head resting on your chest... Though that's awkward too. Because of his head. But the two of you always come up with something to make it work, like you lying on your back with him half on top!

➼ The best man to hug. Unironically one of the best huggers ever. Rikido, of course, loves to cuddle, and better when it's none other than his partner!! Usually it's whenever you wish, but during the night it's a MUST. He'll be clinging to you in his sleep like you're the last thing living on Earth, large arms tightly wrapped around your body. But when it's a bit more organised, Sato loves having your back to his chest while your thighs are curled and pressed against his. He usually just rests his forehead on the top of your back. Also an extremely loud snorer...

【 障子目蔵 — 𝗠𝗘𝗭𝗢 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗝𝗜 】 ༉‧₊˚.

➼ Probably one of his favourite things in the whole world. The intimacy of being so close to you while you two rest is so intimate to him. Shoji hates the fact you two can't cuddle in the hot weather since his arms are extremely warm, and you get all too heated to properly sleep or rest. But when it's colder and the blankets feel useless, Mezo completely surrounds you in his arms, hugging you tight to his chest with his head propped up on the top of your head. You usually have extra limbs surrounding you if you two are just relaxing and not sleeping, one petting your head, another one holding your hands, another one gently grasping your thigh... He wants all of it. And you're getting it all!

➼ Doesn't usually reach out to cuddle, but if you want it, then so does he. Sero doesn't often go for the traditional spooning since his elbows tend to feel uncomfortable pressed tight against your skin, so he absolutely loves it when you're the one spooning him instead. Wrap your arms around his torso and rest your head against his chest and Hanta is immediately melting.

【 常闇踏陰 — 𝗙𝗨𝗠𝗜𝗞𝗔𝗚𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗞𝗢𝗬𝗔𝗠𝗜 】 ༉‧₊˚.

➼ Another awkward cuddler at first. Even if him and Dark Shadow had cuddled plenty of times as kids, it's entirely different with a person Fumikage loves romantically. Dark Shadow has to be the one saying what Tokoyami wants or else it'd be left completely unsaid. And he's... Surprisingly great, actually! His favourite position is when he's simply resting on his back, and you're half resting on top of him, a hand on his stomach as he holds it with his own hand, while another one under you is wrapped around your waist. Or when you two are feeling particularly cold... He loves hugging you face to face, although his beak stays at the top of your head instead. Dark Shadow sometimes joins the little pile as well, nuzzling in between the two of you! Tokoyami scolds him for ruining the romantic moment. Dark Shadow tells him to shut up.

➼ Much like his friend Iida, Todoroki was also extremely stiff the first time you two decided to cuddle. You had to tell him that cuddling involved hugging in bed for Shoto to get the memo of what was actually supposed to be happening... But! After the pretty much awkward session, he seemed to relax a bit more the next times you two cuddled unprompted. He likes hugging you while the two of you lie on your sides, and he can rest his forehead against yours as you two peacefully rest. He never got that type of love as a child, so every time the two of you are together, he craves that kind of peacefulness and closeness only you can give him.

But when you finally did make an arrangement, he REFUSED to be the little spoon. Katsuki had your back pressed against his chest, hugging you a bit too tightly... You were afraid he was angry at you for suggesting this silly thing, but he was actually just extremely nervous. He didn't wanna mess this up in any way. When Bakugo did start to relax, though... He loves when you lie on top of him and press a hand to his chest, but loves it even more when he has the side of his head pressed to your chest, so he can listen to your steady heartbeat. You barely even see it, but when you two fall asleep cuddling, he wears a faint smile on his face.

➼ Midoriya is either latched to your side or you two are cuddling face to face with each other. It's either one of those — no in between. At first, cuddling wasn't on the table during your relationship. Simply because... Neither of you asked. But a particular night after one of Izuku's harsh training sessions led him to walk into your room and flop right by your side... He only gripped tight because the comfort sounded so nice to him at that moment... Cuddling became a basic necessity for him to be able to live from then on.

katsuki hates it when you cook dinner. not because you're a bad cook, which may or may not be the case, but because he likes it when you watch him work. sure, breading chicken and slicing green onions isn't the sexiest thing a guy can do, but your rambling is a soothing remedy for whatever bullshit he’s had to put up with that day. you're slumped over the kitchen counter, messy-haired and sleepy-eyed, while he offers a spoonful of your favorite curry sauce up to your lips with an expectant look on his face. he loves watching the way that your mouth spreads into a satisfying smile and your eyes crinkle at the corners makes pride bloom in his chest. sure, he’ll turn away when you compliment him and mutter something about how he knew it was good already and he just wanted you to shut up for a minute. he’s a liar and the both of you know it.

hanta always has to be touching you. a hand on your lower back to guide you through a crowded space, a leg slung over your lap when you're sitting next to eachother, his cheek pressed to yours as he shows you a reel he thought you would like. (and you did.) when you sit next to each other at a group outing, he'll randomly poke you to get your attention just to meet your eyes and stick his tongue out at you. when you hold hands, he'll tap the pads of his fingertips against the back of your hand in a slow, steady rhythm.

izuku has to kiss you every time he leaves for work. or to go to the bathroom. or to go grab something from the next room. anytime he leaves your company, even for five minutes, he gives you a little peck on the cheek, forehead, or even just a gentle kiss on your hair, as a little parting gift. it’s more of a habit than clinginess at this point. one time he left for work without giving you a kiss goodbye, and had to come back home on his lunch break to right his wrong.

rikido has long since accepted that in dating you, he’s sacrificed half of his wardrobe to you as well. hoodies, sweatpants, oversized t-shirts; yeah, they’re all yours now. not that he doesn’t love watching you get all dolled up to see him, but one of his favorite sights is watching you trod out of the bathroom with one of his old shirts hanging off your shoulders while you brush your teeth.  

tamaki knows your food orders by heart. every single restaurant you have ever visited or ordered from, he has made a mental docket of what you liked and didn’t like so that on the off-chance that he swings by there after work, he doesn’t need to bother you in order to bring home something that puts a smile on your face. he probably even has the list on his phone just so he can double check and make sure, titled with a simple heart emoji. hes a firm believer that the quickest way to a persons heart is through their stomach and by god is he correct. if your especially fond of something, he’ll learn to make it at home and keep the ingredients on hand just so he doesn’t have to go through the extra hassle. 

mirio’s favorite pre-bedtime activity is reciting corny jokes off the top of his head with the very important goal of watching you fall into a fit of sleepy laughter. you’ll be lying on your back, with mirio’s muscular arms wrapped around your middle and his face in the crook of your neck, asking you in a hushed whisper why you can’t hear a pterodactyl going to the bathroom. usually, it’s not even the jokes that make you laugh, but the contagious laughter that fans onto your skin. the jokes are an added bonus, though.

touya is not a touchy-feely kind of guy. he’s not too good at words of affirmation either. but what he is good at is putting his entire body weight on you like a cat when you expect it the least. you could be cooking, minding your business, and touya will walk behind you, press his nose into the spot under your ear, rest his chin on your shoulder, and wind his arms around your middle, before completely relaxing into you like a weighted blanket. a very inconvenient weighted blanket. he knows it too, and will hum absent-mindedly while you cuss him out for getting in the way. if you try to move, he’ll just follow, taking awkwardly large steps to keep up with you so he can stay curled around you in the most bothersome way possible. god forbid your lying down when the mood strikes him- you may never get up. 

jin loves listening to you talk. doesn’t matter what about- gossip, a new interest, or a long dead horse that you feel like beating, he’s tumed in. it’s not absent-minded listening either, you have his full attention. himiko could be prodding at his side with the handle of a knife while dabi and spinner are actively trying to kill eachother ten feet away and he’d have his face cupped in his hands, eyes wide with adoration and rapt attention. it’s also one of the only ways to get him to fall asleep. he’ll rest his head on your chest and fall into a peaceful, dreamless sleep while you card your hands through his hair and softly yammer on about whatever’s on your mind. the sound of your voice is the perfect balm to the noise in his head.

MHA - How they comfort you - I

Dedicated to my dear friend @marsoverthestars.

Summary: Your peers notice you've hit a rough patch lately and want to help.

Warnings: Pure fluff, comfort, mentions of depression, mentions of unhealthy habits.

It was no secret: you were going through it. Life was ju8st currently putting you through the wringer and you were beginning to feel like a damp, laundered rag. Due to having a quirk heavily affected by your emotions, every soul around you could feel your upset, as if your depressive mood chipped the very paint off the walls. Luckily for you, they know just the trick to help you out of your funk!

Yuga Aoyama:

"Out of bed, mon amie." Yuga chirped, letting himself into your room, throwing the curtains open. You hissed at the sudden flood of light.

"Aoyama, shut the curtains!" you protested, pulling your comforter over your head and rolling over.

"Not today, cheri," He persisted, tearing your covers from you.

"You've been locked away in this dungeon for far too long, my dear, and I'm afraid you're beginning to smell." He smirked, pulling you out of bed by your wrist, forcefully but with care.

"Gee, thanks..." you grumbled, rubbing your eyes, nonchalantly sniffing your underarm before wincing. "Fuck, I do smell."

"Langauge, amie," He reminded, sifting through your dresser. "But yes, you do, and worse than that, you're loosing your sparkle and that simply won't do." He stood straight, a bundle of clothes in his arms, smiling warmly. "For this time only, I will grant you access to my luxury bath salts, so make sure and enjoy them while you can."

He shooed you out of your own room, shoving your clothes into your arms. "No off with you, towels warm and the bathwater is boiling. Go take care of yourself, darling."

Mina Ashido:

Mina hadn't seen any sign of you in days, worrying her to bits. She knew you tended to seclude yourself when you were down, and she did try to respect that. She'd comb through TikTok, bombarding your inbox with memes, edits of your favorite characters, and 'us' slideshows, but when you would simply heart them (if you responded at all), she couldn't take it anymore.

"(Y/N), are you in there?" She asked cautiously from the hall, knocking softly. "Can I come in, please? I miss you!"

You trudge to the door, wrapped in melancholy and a stale blanket. "What is it, Mina?" To your surprise, she threw her arms around you, tearing up as she saw your disheveled state.

"Whatever it is, I'm sorry!" she lamented, squeezing you tightly. "Whatever is bothering you, we can talk about it, please don't shut yourself away from me!" You'd never seen her so upset outside of battle. She was typically so bubbly, was she that concerned. "Everyone's so worried about you..."

"M-Me...?"" you repeat, not having realized how important you were to others.

"Please, if you won't come out, at least let me in..." she begged, pulling back with an earnest look, onyx scaleras glistening with worry. To her relief and yous, you relented, letting her inside.

Tsuyu Asui:

Tsu had noticed you withdrawing from your peers long before you actually had. First, you wouldn't talk as much in class, then you began eating lunch alone and declining invites out, and then, one day, you disappeared entirely.

She wasn't entirely sure how to go about comforting you, but it was obvious to her you were having a hard time. At first, she just left you alone, thinking you might have needed space, but then she began to wonder if there was something more she could do. Then it came to her, she was a big sister, she was so good at giving comfort to others. She'd just do for you what she'd do her her siblings.

"You you like a hug, ribbit?" the question caught you off guard as you stood in the kitchen, drink in hand, one of the rare occasions you left your room.

"What?"

"I've noticed you've been having a hard time, would you like a hug, ribbit?" She asked, offering you her arms. "I know being part frog, I'm a little awkward to hug, but when my little siblings were upset, I'd-" You didn't care how her slouched back back it odd for you to do it, you wrapped your arms around her, tears streamiong down your face.

"Yes, a hug would be wonderful, Tsu..." you answered with a sniffle. "Thank you." She happily enveloped you in a warm embrace, stroking her thumbs over your shoulders.

"Happy to help, ribbit," she beamed, resting her head on your shoulder. "I'm happy to give you as many hugs as you like, anytime you like..."

Tenya Iida:

Tenya was smart, obviously, but he was still a novice when it came to relationships with his peers and handling interactions. That's why when you began skipping class, he, as class president took it upon himself to hand deliver your homework, along with a stern talking to about attendance. That earned him a door slamming in his face, to nobody's suprise.

Now he knows better. Though it goes against his morals, he cuts you slack, visiting you every day briefly. Papers slide under your door in stacks. Neatly written notes, mock tests, and graded homework, all with nothing less than A's. You haven't done your homework in a week. Among the pages, one day, a letter appears, reading:

"I understand I am still learning how to be a friend, and you are teaching me new ways to be a better one. I appreciate that. I also understand I can't take your woes off your plate, so, even though I find it wrong, I will take on what of your burdens I can. I hope we can talk soon, but until then, take all the time away from school that you need. You will have perfect grades to come back to."

Ochako Uraraka:

'Good morning!' 'Goodnight!' 'How do you feel today?' It seemed like your phone never stopped dinging from how many times a day she texted you. Not only that but she'd check in on you in person multiple times a day as well, especially if you didn't answer any of her texts. She'd bring you breakfast in the mornings and dinner in the evening, catch you up on current events.

Eventually, you wound up letting her stay longer each time, texting her back longer replies. Before you knew it, you were texting/talking for hours. She'd send you a meme and you'd send one back. She'd tell you who liked who in the toher classes and you actually began to care.

You didn't even notice when the worries of your depressive episode began to fade into the background, the excitement of waking up to a good morning text lighting up your day each and every time.

Mashirao Ojiro:

It wasn't clear how it came to this, but here you were, cradled in Mashiroa's lap, tail curled around you securely. "Shhh, it's okay, let it out." he murmured, chin resting atop your head, thumbs stoking your skin with such care as he rocked you back and forth, letting you cry and vent your frustrations.

He hadn't needed to ask, he didn't beg you to talk. He simply knocked on your door and engulfed you in a warm, wordless embrace, the moment you opened it, holding you against him until you stopped resisting. You were rewarded for your surrender with his fingers gently raking through your hair. And then, you ended up like this.

"It's all gonna be okay, I promise." He swore, pressing a kiss to your temple as he felt your breathing calm. You'd cried yourself to sleep in his arms. He was just glad to see your pain fading away, even if momentarily.

Denki Kaminari:

"Why'd you stop answering your phone?" Denki asked, leaning into your doorway. "I've been worried sick."

"It died," you said dismissively. In truth, you doom-scrolled the battery to death.

"Charge it, maybe?" he deadpanned, cocking a brow at you.

"Lost my brick." you answered numbly, moving to shut the door, simply wanting to crawl back into bed, only to have his foot come between it and the frame.

"Bullshit," he called, pushing his way into your room, kicking out of his shoes and crawling into your bed without care in the world. "C'mon," he patted the space beside you, rolling his eyes at your befuddled expression. He swiped your chord off the nightstand, popping it in his mouth. "Bring me your phone." he said, words muffled by the charged between his teeth.

Your shoulders slumped as you came closer, handing it over, watching him plug the chord into it before holding the power button and bringing it back to life. Reluctantly, you crawled under the covers with him. "What are you doing?" you asked as he opened the Youtube app.

"You look like you could use a laugh," he smirked fingers tapping across the keyboard. The search bar read 'kids getting hurt'.

Eijiro Kirishima:

Eijiro sat on the outside of your door, rapping softly against it near the bottom. "Talk to me, please?" He asked, defeated. "I wanna help..." He had been at this for hours, listening to you cry on the other side of the locked door. He finally sighed, shifting into a more comfortable position. "We don't have to talk, if you don't wanna, we could just chill..."

Ten minutes pass and still, your only response to his coaxing are sobs not even meant for him. "I'm not exactly cuddly, but I could give you a hug?" he offered, knowing it was futile. "We could watch a movie, just lay in bed." he swallowed hard, rolling his stiff neck. "Just let me know you're okay..."

Still, he got no answer and part of him began to wonder if he was doing more harm than good. "Want me to just go...?"

"...No..." your soft voice came from the other side- inches away. When had you moved closer? It didn't matter. His fingers slipped under the crack of the door as a sympathetic smile crept across his face, widening when he felt yours graze them.

"I'm not goin' anywhere," he reassured kindly. "We don't gotta talk, I'll stay out here all night if I have to. Until you're ready for more than company."

Koji Koda:

Koji had no idea how to help soothe your pain as shy as he was. He could hardly talk to you in person, what could he possibly do? Well, he did have your social media, and he knew your favorite animal...

At exact times, staggered throughout the day, your phone would buzz, always with a message from him saying something like: 'I hope you're doing okay today!" with an attachment of a cute video or picture of your favorite animal. Sometimes they'd come with a little factoid about the animal.

It wasn't much, but he put a good deal of effort into this ritual, always making sure the messages, facts, and media were never the same. Little did he know, his efforts weren't in vain, they meant everything to you.

Rikido Sato:

Rikido had many flaws, but if there was one thing he was an expert at, it was keeping an index of everyone's tastes, and baking. That's why when he noticed you beginning to pull away from your friends, he was quick to jump into action. He wasn't one for confrontation, but acts of service were how he showed he cared.

He knew you favored a certain flavor, and he challenged himself to see how far he could take that knowledge. What all could he do with the extract of one flavor?

You were taken back when you began finding treats waiting for you outside your room every day. Poundcake on Monday, cupcakes on Tuesday, tarts on Wednesday, and so on and so forth. After a week or so, he was beginning to sweat, having scoured the internet and every book on his shelf for new recipes.

On the eighth day, while setting a beautifully wrapped box of cookies at your door, he jumped out of his skin, looking up to find your feet in front of him. "Sato..." you muttered, smiling sadly down at him as he bashfully stood, hulking over you.

“Maybe he needs friends,” you jest.

You watch as Sato’s eyebrows raise and his mouth opens slightly. You adored the way his face lit up even for the most unserious of matters.

Tanaka's gonna hate you all right. Sato gently taps one of your hands at his waist. He looks back and briefly flashes a smile before turning his attention back to the road. Your heart skips a beat, you quickly look down finding the white stripes that run across the road as your distraction.

You feel a faint buzz from Sato’s pocket just below your left arm. He pulls a phone out of his pocket, quickly turning it on and switching to messages. There’s a moment of silence before a sigh from the older man breaks it.

“What’s wrong?”

“The boys need me.”

All excitement leaves you as you process what he says. It hasn’t been that long, and he’s already being called away. You rest your head against his back, listening to the faint beat of his heart. Sato feels your hands gently pull at his shirt. He grabs one of your hands and interlocks his fingers with yours.

“We’ll see each other again, okay?” He says, sitting on his motorcycle while you stand on the path that leads to your house. You slowly nod as he places the helmet you took off on his head. He frowns upon seeing your face. “We’ll go somewhere you like, and no one will interrupt.”

You smile as you wave him goodbye. Feeling lonely as you stand lonesome on the sidewalk. You finally walk back to your house, the door to the neighbor's house suddenly opens. An older woman walks out and observes the street then to you.
