🌪️ the weight of paranoia 🌪️

Some days, it feels like I’m living in a thriller movie where everyone around me is a potential antagonist. 🕵️‍♀️ I can't help but overthink every little thing—was that laugh aimed at me? Are they whispering about me when I turn my back? It’s exhausting!

I’ll be in a group, and instead of enjoying the moment, my brain is racing with scenarios. Did I say something wrong? Am I being judged? Just the other day, I overheard a couple of friends talking, and my mind spiraled into believing they were planning something against me. The reality? They were probably just discussing their weekend plans. 🤦‍♂️

It’s like I’m trapped in this constant state of alertness, feeling like I need to defend myself. I want to reach out and connect with people, but the fear of betrayal looms large. I long for the days when I could just relax and not be on high alert, but that feels so far away.

Anyone else dealing with this overwhelming sense of distrust? I’d love to hear your stories. It helps to know I’m not alone in this chaotic mind of mine. 🖤

is there such a thing as a schizospectrum system?

We don’t know if they’re explicitly called that in the community, but we’re aware of schizo-spectrum people who are also plural, some specifically due to their particular schizo-spectrum disorder. For those individuals, their hallucinations or the schizo-spectrum self-split feel more plural or functions more like a plural system, and identifying themselves as plural often helps them function better and make sense of what they are experiencing. I think I’m in a mixed state episode… I’m super suicidal but also super irritable and everybody is so annoying and I think everyone is stupid and that I’m better… Which is not good but I don’t normally think so highly of myself and lowly of my coworkers. But at the same time I hate myself. This started yesterday but it’s worse today. IDK what to do. I think I’m great and awesome but I also suck and I hate myself.
