i’m rewatching scott’s double life for the first time in two years. and his first episode is The aromantic experience. everyone around you is asking if you’ve found your soulmate and you point to your best friend and say “well yeah we’re soulmates now” and they say “HA! FAKE SOULMATES!!!” and then “well i just can’t WAIT until you find your REAL soulmate, i’m having SO MUCH FUN with mine!” it’s like when someone walks up to you and tells you that someday someone will change your mind. and you watch everyone around you get happy and comfortable and settle down with one other person in a tight-knit way that you don’t understand and they’re in shock and disbelief and they stare at you weird when you point to your best friend and tell people that you live together

Every pride the hermits have a karaoke night, one time Scott somehow snuck into the server exclusively to sing Hot to Go
Now he's invited every year and sings basically only Taylor Swift and songs from musicals, one time Gem and Impulse even brought some makeup and their old outfits to get Gem and the Scotts back together for a night
They do make him sing Deal with Destiny, because it's only fair. That's his punishment for sneaking in (they are all delighted to have him.)

Acho had spent pretty much the entire meal questioning what must’ve been every decision Scott has ever made in his life before Scott could finally manage to get a word in.
“Ok, first off, you do NOT get to judge me about Martyn or Sausage. Let’s mention the people you are interested before we get to that,” Scott placed his mug down with a smug expression, enjoying the startled look on his younger siblings face.
Acho adverted star’s eyes downward, taking a bite of a dumpling in a bad attempt to put off the conversation and not speak.
“First off, it seems like you have a type. Not really a good one either.”
Scott pointed out, not hesitating at all.
“Because first off, god, I love Owen, don’t get me wrong, but really, Acho?”
They immediately shot up, cherry red coating his face in rapid succession. “Hey!”
Scott cackled, throwing his head back and stomping his feet in delight at the action. “Someone’s defensive! Why, you want her to shoot you or something?”
Acho sank back down into star’s chair, crossing his arms on the table and placing their chin on top. “He’s really pretty..ok? I wanna play with his hair and stuff.”
Scott snorts, taking a swig of his drink. “Good luck with that..also, Enchantress?”
The coughing fit that sends Acho into is enough to make him fall off of his chair, wheezing as the the entire bar stares at them.
Worth it.
