AX2002 - Script Update #2
A corridor is shown which is populated by 2 guards which are on their duties making sure that everything is okay whilst they're on watch
Guard 1: So as I was saying, Benny is an idiot
Guard 2: Yeah? but he's our idiot!
Guard 2 points at one of the ornaments
Guard 1: Woah! is that "The Jewelled Eye"?
Guard 2: Yep only one in the world, that is why we are protecting it
Guard 2: I think lord Giffard trusts us too much
Guard 2 is in awe of the jewel, and guard 1 notices
Guard 1: Stop Gawking at the thing, we have to lockdown everywhere else
both guards walk off, as they walk off the lights go out and a hand is seen taking the jewel from the display cabinet. there is another item next to the jewel that speaks to the thief
The Eye: Take me with you!!!
The hand of the thief takes it as well
The guards walk down back into the main corridor, everywhere is dark the torches are extinguished and something seems very wrong
Guard 2: Why's everywhere so dark?
Guard 1: Hmph... Some Taffer must have got in.
Guard 2: Why do you always think the worst?
Guard 1: Do me a favor will ya? Go fetch me that tinder box over there!
Guard 2: Uh-ha.. Tinder Box.. It's the only match you're going to get!
Guard 1: AHAHAH... I Don't... get it?!?!
Guard 2: Neither Do I? Here you go
As Guard 2 lights the torches both guards realise that "The Jewelled Eye" and stuff in the corridors have gone.
Guard 2: Where'd "The Jewelled Eye" go?
Guard 1: Never mind that everything has gone!!! Looks like someone has took us to the cleaners!
Guard 2: But the cleaner doesn't come until Thursday's, so how could it be him!
Guard 1: Urgghh! You stay here there could be a reasonable explanation for this
Guard 2 stays in the corridor Guard 1 runs away
Guard 1 frantically runs down the corridor to the front of the castle he cannot see anyone around, as he turns back he hears a knock at the castle door and goes to inspect it he opens the castle door
A Tall shadowed figure is seen stood in front of him with a cart full of items.
Shadowed Man: I was wondering if you would maybe want to buy anything that takes your fancy. It's for charity Coleridge needs a new orphanage, and I'm raising funds
Guard 1: I don't have time for this now... Wait!
The Guard notices items similar to the ones stolen
Guard 1: Candlesticks, Ornaments, A Jewel, this all looks like some stuff we have.
Shadowed Man: All replicas if you want them, I can say maybe 600 gold and your cloak, its cold out tonight.
Guard 1: well okay then, it is fair I guess and I'm kinda in a tough spot
Shadowed Man: Pleasure doing business.
Guard 1 closes the door, walks back down the corridor with the sack.
Guard 1 meets up with guard 2 in the corridor, and presents the stuff he bought to him.
Guard 1: Look, I may have found some guy selling this stuff at the door and I gave him my cloak and my gold.
Guard 2: Wow! what a stroke of luck
Guard 1 and 2 put everything back in place until Guard 2 realises something
Guard 2: Wait a second... these aren't fakes these are REAL!! remember there is only one Jewelled eye in the world yet this is exactly it
Guard 1: Then, who did I give my money too?!?!
Guard 2: The Money Inspector?
Guard 2: You Idiot!!! There's no such thing!
After realising their mistake both run off down the corridor
