The GlenAllachie 15 Year Old is often considered by connoisseurs to be the “heart” of the distillery's core range. Since the distillery was taken over by whisky legend Billy Walker in 2017, this single malt has become a prime example of first-class sherry maturation.

The GlenAllachie 15 is known for its intense dark colour and deep, complex aromas. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and is bottled at a solid drinking strength of 46% ABV. It is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads. This combination provides the perfect balance between the extreme sweetness of the PX and the nutty, spicy notes of the Oloroso.

Signatory Vintage Whisky 100 Proof Edition No. 77 Clynelish

The Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition has quickly become a favourite among whisky connoisseurs seeking honest, powerful bottlings without any frills. With No. 77, the independent bottler pays tribute to one of the Highlands’ most prestigious distilleries: Clynelish Distillery.

Clynelish Distillery is famous for its “waxy” character — a mouthfeel reminiscent of beeswax or candle wax that enjoys cult status among single malt fans. The No. 77 edition perfectly captures this distinctive distillery style.

Signatory Vintage has struck a chord with this series. While many standard bottlings from the owners (in this case, Diageo) are often bottled at 43% or 46%, the 100 Proof Edition allows the whisky to express itself fully.

The 57.1% ABV (100 Proof according to the British definition) is often regarded by experts as the ideal strength at which the aromas display maximum intensity without the alcohol overpowering the nuances.
