— CHARMS TO USE AT HOGWARTS.

“Emendanus Caparus” ( hair fixer-upper charm )

for when you’re already running late for something and have absolutely no time to un-mess your hair (which looks like a Kneazle nest.) swish-flick, and it makes your hair neat and orderly. not styled, but not a total mess, either

“Numquamify” ( never-spill spell )

coffee, tea, pumpkin juice, or a potion that’s in a bottle without a lid (for whatever weird reason,) this spell keeps it locked in it’s container—no matter how many stairs you trip up

“Soccum Invenire” ( sock locator )

because somehow, the castle eats one of every pair. wave your wand and listen for the “ping” as your sock cries for help under your bed

“Librapluma” ( lighter bag charm )

those 10 pound textbooks can be a real drag—literally. dragging you through the corridors between classes. this charm makes your bag a much lighter load and allows you to glide through the halls without an aching back

“Calidarum” ( hot air charm )

the sometimes endless drizzle seriously gets your robes soaked moving between classes. the hot air that this charm produces from your wand might take a sec, but it gets you toasty warm and dry enough to keep you from being sopping wet in potions class (Snape will humiliate you in front of everyone)

“Extermina Atramentus” ( ink-erasing charm )

maybe my most-used charm, because if there’s even a stray smudge of ink on my schoolwork, i’ll have a total meltdown. for those times you misspell or deliriously write the wrong date on your parchment, this charm simply vanishes it so you can rewrite like it never happened at all

“Locus Odorem” ( room scent spell )

often used by the Slytherins when they get sick of that wet dungeon smell. this spell adds a swirl of lavender, citrus, fresh-baked cookies, vanilla, patchouli—you get it—to a room, a smell adjusted to what you specifically want. ( i prefer rain and jasmine )

“Scourgify” ( cleaning charm )

spills happen, it’s fine, because this charm works even faster than those Muggle stain removers. it helps to avoid changing robes for the fourth time in a week after an unfortunate potions lessons

“Acutaplectra” ( quill-sharpening charm )

no need to waste your time fussing with blunt quills when you’re already fighting for your life trying to write three feet of punishment essays for Snape. this charm has you immediately back to your furious scribbling

“Tentus Liberloco” ( moving bookmark charm )

did you lose your place in the (impossibly gigantic) volume you had to study for History of Magic? and now you’re staring at it blankly thinking about having to search for where you were (when all the pages look the exact same ??) luckily, this charm keeps your place for you, and flips to the last page you read when you pick it back up. life’s too short to spend it hunting through pages

“Lenis Lectus” ( bed-making charm )

when you’re hustling to class with no time for chores, but you don’t wanna come back to a totally trashed room at the end of the day, a quick flick of your wand will leave your bed tidy, pillows fluffed, and duvet folded to perfection

“Calceacrus” ( shoe shine spell )

after spending as much time as i do trudging through the Forbidden Forest looking for illegal potion ingredients, my beloved boots are constantly streaked and scuffed—and i do not need to hear Peeves taunting in the hallway about it. swish your wand and watch your shoes gleam like you just walked out of the shop with them, brand-new

“Ruperitus” ( wrinkle removal charm )

i’ve seen students get house points taken away just from having crinkled uniform robes—this charm smooths out your robes so you won’t look like you just got into a fight with a washing machine and lost

“Consolus Pulvinar” ( seat cushion charm )

the chairs in class are sooo not it. this charm makes your seat feel like a fluffy armchair, so you can survive those double Transfiguration classes without dragging a broken tailbone down the corridor afterwards

Scripting for long hair

I noticed a few shifters script to have very long hair and sometimes they have not experienced the downsides of long hair so as someone who is 5'5"(166cm) with thick knee length hair

And have experience ankle length hair in my DR.

This is a few things you should script to make sure you actually enjoy it!

◇ When wearing your hair out it does not clump together and each strand stays to themselves.

◇ Washing does not weigh your neck down/cause major headaches.

◇ If air drying your hair dries within 30mins to an hour instead of 4-8hours.

◇ It doesn't get tangled very easily even after being in the wind for 1 minute. (I hate this)

◇ Flyaways does not latch onto anyone around you.

◇ you'll looks like those anime girls when the wind hits your hair and it falls back easily into place.

◇ It easily glides off door handles, sharp corners or anything that it drapes over on the floor. (💔)

◇ Low maintenance + natural ingredients always keeps your hair shiny/soft/silky as much as the opposite.

◇ You can do any hairstyle you want want with ease and your hair would look as good as you visioned it to be (TRUST ME ON THIS)

◇ Salt water/chlorine does not get your hair knotted easily (spent over 5hrs once detangling my hair)

◇ Everyone is hyper aware of your hair around you so they won't accidentally step on it. (I almost broke my neck)

◇ Your hair does not bring you unnecessary attention unless you want it.

◇ Anyone who wishes harm on you or your hair gets the wish granted on themselves instead.

◇ Anyone who is envious/jealous of your hair without wishing harm on you gets blessed with fast growth and thickness of their own.

◇ Small fish does not get caught in your hair. (don't ask)

◇ Your hair doesn't get trapped in your ass crack
