👍👍 . #Repost @dtfa --- Though Maxine and Jake were surprised to learn they were expecting quadruplets, it was not their first experience welcoming four children into their home. In December 2019, the couple from Pennsylvania adopted a sibling group from foster care — Aiden, Parker, Connor and Elliott — something Maxine describes as the most meaningful and fulfilling experience of her life. “When I was little, I always wanted to foster and adopt,” Maxine shared with @people. “As I got older, I learned about foster care and the fact that so many kids need homes. When I met Jake, we discussed it and after we got married, we talked about it [seriously].” Now parents to a total of nine children, the couple says that although they have their hands full, they are figuring out ways to make it work. “It's definitely chaotic and it’s definitely beautiful,” Maxine says. Thanks to Maxine and Jake, Aiden, Parker, Connor and Elliott now have a forever family. But more than 120,000 children in foster care are still waiting to be adopted.
