A rich and smoky barbecue sauce infused with the bold flavors of smoke ale, perfect for enhancing the taste of grilled meats.
Ingredients: 1 cup ketchup. 1/2 cup dark beer preferably smoke ale. 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons molasses. 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a saucepan, combine ketchup, dark beer, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the sweetness or acidity if needed. Remove from heat and let the Smoke Ale Barbecue Sauce cool before using. Use the sauce to baste grilled meats or as a dipping sauce.
