What I think it's like to have breakfast with the strawhat crew, I tried to make the reader not super involved, so that it's for everyone to enjoy! <333 it really is nothing special, but maybe you'll enjoy it!!

The sun is shining, and waves are gently crashing against the side of the ship you call home.
walking out of your room is Robin, she's up bright and early, book in hand and a iced drink in the other, her hair is neatly tied up into a bun, or else the slight breeze that carried along her flora,l earthy perfume would get unwanted strands in her face,
“mmh… good morning!” She looks up at you and smiles, returning back to flip a page in her book
you give her a little wave and continue on, your stomach is rumbling already, you head to the kitchen, climbing up the many stairs of the sunny to reach the two doors that lead you into a kitchen where your cook was washing dishes while a bot of water boiled next to him, a apron laced around his waist and his sleeves rolled up.
“your up earlier than usual, breakfast will be done soon” he spoke up, not turning away from the plate he was scrubbing
you take your respective seat at the large dining table, the sound of knifes hitting cutting boards and Sanji’s sighs and ‘mmh!’s whenever he would smell his food, along with the sweet smell of your favorite jam filling the air, your peaceful quiet was interrupted by someone ducking into the room
“goooood morning!” The skeleton said, his voice was smooth as he carried himself over to the empty space in the room, passing by you and adjusting his purple tie that had yellow polka-dots on it. he held a violin in one of his boney hands (hah get it…? Okay Nevermind) lifting it up a little.
“mind if i play some sunrise tunes while our cook is making our breakfast?” He asked you,
you chuckled and give him a little thumbs up
“awesome…!” He hummed, placing the violin to his chin, his hollow eyes never really felt hollow; they were calm, but all the same full of life.
he started playing~the sound echoing throughout the room.
You sighed and relaxed into your chair, continuing to watch Sanji prepare the crew's meal.
Hoofs were heard marching into the kitchen and dining room area as the doors opened, but you couldn’t see anyone actually enter
“hey is…! Oh hey!” A cute voice said, getting louder as it got closer to you the little reindeer smelled like hand sanitizer and clean laundry “i wanted to look at your arm!”
thats right, you burned yourself helping out sanji yesterday-he promptly banned you from touching anything in his kitchen again, even if it was to help.
you held out your arm that was carefully bandaged, it wasn’t too bad.
“Mmh… the bandage is still secure… ill take a look at it later okay? Ill come and grab you!” He smiled
“Thats because your such a good doctor chopper..” you spoke
Chopper immediately tried to hide his smile. “Flattery won't get you anywhere..!” He exclaimed, almost twirling off out of the room.
You could still hear Brook’s violin playing and his humming, setting the perfect mood for this morning. Sanji sighed back and smiled, starting to untie his apron, “food's done-“
Someone burst through the doors of the room “food you say?!” A loud voice interrupted him, brook let out a gasp and stopped his music playing after accidentally hitting a horrendously wrong note due to your captains interruption
“Yes, food, Luffy,” Sanji spoke, his tone rough as the straw hat laughed, his smile reaching ear to ear, his hand resting on the top of his hat
“yummy..!” He spoke, “better be meat!” He chuckled more, not so calmly walking to sit down at one of the chairs of the table, Sanji with the help of brook, started setting the table, some of the plates and glasses (the girls) looked almost like fine china, and the napkins for them, Sanji placed down swan folded napkins down along with the silverware with a dorky smile on his face
not long after two crew members entered at the same time, giggling and chatting together
your gorgeous, sly navigator that put a lovesick smile on Sanji’s face when he recognized her heels clicking along the wooden floors, and the multi purpose, long nosed sniper,
“morning!” Ussop spoke raising his hand to the room-a slight wave, as he kept walking with Nami her telling a story of some sorts as they sat down across from you
before you knew it, almost all of your crew was there, Chopper returned and sat up on his chair that franky-who was now sitting next to Robin and brook, made for him to fit his hight.
Franky had come in with a loud sound
“SUUUPERRR BREAKFAST TIME!” He yelled across the room, luckily Luffy was already here, meaning there was no quiet for Franky to intervene with.
A focused Robin came with him, her book still in hand and her nail in her mouth, anxiously biting it as she slowly came to sit down, Franky directed her to her seat carefully-making sure she didn’t bump into anything while she was so distracted-Nami’s fault, recommending a romance book? Robins been invested in the entire series since she read the first page, and she already predicted how it’ll turn out but the anticipation has caught up to her.
then chopper, he was quiet coming in, sitting up his chair and patiently waiting for the food to arrive
“Sanji! I want food!” Luffy complained, picking up a fork and a knife into both of his hands, that was placed out and hitting them against the table a couple of times, dramatically leaning his head back against his chair
“food!” He whined like a little kid. Nami spoke up her tone was gruff and stern, like the mother of the disobedient kid.
“Luffy, calm down!” She huffed as Sanji started to bring over plates of different kinds of breakfast foods, fruits, eggs-scrambled, sunny side up, fried, you name it. Even variations of oats. Ext. The classic buffet for the crew
And of course, sausage, the sausage you could only get a little whiff of it in before Luffy picked it up with his fork and shoved it down his throat
“Captain!” Franky exasperated, his mouth open, and eyes wide a little “leave some for the rest of us!”
Robin let out a little giggle placing a hand on him as he looked down at her and frowned, like a cyborg… puppy… or whatever
“sorrrryy!” Luffy spoke his mouth full, trying to simultaneously swallow
“oh ew…” Nami spoke furrowing her eyebrows together, her face distorting in disgust
Sanji was quick to Luffy’s side hitting him on the back of the head with no warning, causing him to cough a couple of times
“Not infront of the ladies!” He huffed setting more food down for the crew to enjoy “thanks sanji!” Ussop spoke up, then Brook and robin “yes thank you!” Franky you and luffy followed suit, muttered and shouted thanks filled the room as people started to chow down on the fresh food, you took toast-with a healthy topping of jam.
“hey… where's zoro?” Nami asked
you looked around, and yeah, the swordsman was nowhere to be seen
“My guess would be sleeping” Sanji sighed crossing his arms before he dug into his pockets for a pack of cigarettes and a lighter as he stepped outside to light it and smoke it.
The crew started to chatter,
Chopper talked about medicinal herbs, some people scolded Luffy for his gross eating, it all kind of faded into laughter and silverware clinking against plates and the fizz of Nami’s sparkling water and Franky’s cola or even the occasional skeleton joke from Brook
you suddenly focused your attention on loud bickering coming from outside of the dining room-you already knew who it was,
“yeah, yeah, curly brow!” You heard Zoro shout back at presumably Sanji as he entered the room.
“Zorooo!” Luffy laughed- he rolled his eyes, his arms crossed as he came to sit down shifting his hand to rest on the hilts of his swords “whats to eat?” Zoro asked his eyes scanning the table
“everything!” Luffy exclaimed,
“no saké?” Zoro asked gruffly
“Zoro! That's an after-dinner drink, please don’t drink any in the morning,” chopper chimed in
Zoro muttered a whatever and sat down next to him, dishing up his plate with his usual: grilled fish and raw egg over rice.
Your crew was loud and rambunctious, but they were all so special in their own way.
