I’m starting a step challenge.
For the next 5 days, I am going to challenge myself to take 20,000 steps each and every day.
I’m getting a pretty nice paycheck on Saturday, so for each day I reach my step goal I am going to give myself $25 to spend on clothes (or whatever else I want). And if I reach my step goal every day this week, I will give myself an extra $50 to spend!
This will be my motivator for each day, and I will post my step totals either before I go to bed, or the next morning so everyone can see! I can’t wait to see what my shopping spree will look like :)
Oh no wonder my feet hurt I walked 13+ miles today and the evening hasn't even started! 💀 . . . #stepcount #miband2 #goodthingibroughtpainkillers https://www.instagram.com/p/BocsJYjn_rm/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=185b8qf4wxbln
About how much I walk everyday at my job! Damn paid exercise 🤔😎🤙🏾 #pedometer #stepcount #exercise #walking #warehouselife #warehouse
Food in point and steps on point! Even got my 10k steps both days of the weekend 🙌🏻#fitbit #fitbitblaze #fitbitbreakdown#weeklyprogress #activity#fitness #health#stepcount #hydration #calories #caloriedeficit #caloriecounting #weightloss #weightlossjourney #postpartumweightloss #postpartum #goals#fitfam #fitblr #healthylifestyle #diet #dietbet
Fitbit breakdown from last week- pretty happy with my week average for calories despite 2 very high calorie days- would like to bring it right down this week! Fluid is on point and with steps I just need to work on my weekend steps but I'm not too fussy about that! #fitbit #fitbitblaze #fitbitbreakdown#weeklyprogress #activity#fitness #health#stepcount #hydration #calories #caloriedeficit #caloriecounting #weightloss #weightlossjourney #postpartumweightloss #postpartum #goals#fitfam #fitblr #healthylifestyle #diet #dietbet
Another Milestone🚶🌿
Today I hit 1,500,000 steps.
I started this walk counting app on March 30, so it’s been 92 days tracking. That’s around 16k steps a day on average, even though my only real goal was 10k steps a day and get some structure in my life..
It’s been an absolute adventure so far.
There have been hard days. Good days. Days I wanted to quit. Days that have shaped me. Days I wish never happened. And days I wouldn’t trade for anything.
Along the way I’ve seen incredible wildlife, stumbled across beautiful places I never would have found otherwise, filled my tummy with blueberries and strawberries, taken countless swims, watched sunrises and sunsets, and collected memories that have nothing to do with the number on my app.
Some days I just reach the goal. Other days I somehow end up at 30k to 37k steps because I get caught up in the walk and keep going.
Every now and then I get a little too invested in the step counter. It’s easy to start treating it like a competition when it was never meant to be one. Those are the days I have to remind myself why I started in the first place: to move more, clear my head, structure, get in shape and enjoy the process not to chase a number.
To celebrate this milestone, I ordered a bracelet engraved with “One More Step.” It’s probably a little cheesy… but I kind of love that. a simple reminder that progress doesn’t have to be dramatic. You just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
1.5 million steps down.
One more step.
