The New Masters - The Corruptor - Is Complete!

The Portal Master of the Darkness, its vessel and rift into real space where the Skylanders trembled and kingdoms crumbled, hollowly skirted down the road to the deep center of his masterful creation. His lips were twisted into a deeper frown than normal, when his favored one wasn't near. His hands firmly clasped each other behind his sickeningly black robe. That soft but resilient and heavily enchanted fabric always brought some kind of trouble with it. Usually, such a thing was either directed against or moved in comical tandem with the strangely tall one of their kin. Not this time. Not tonight. And several of them were dangerously close to it being their problem.

Executions were reserved for those who failed him the worst, if not traitors. Despite the terrible reputation of the likes of Malefor and the Doom Raiders, Lord Kaos often stayed his hand. No reason to dispose of the minions who he could simply reprimand and retrain. But the son of the Corruptor did have hard constraints on his patience; he did take action on those poor fools; he did know the limits of their healing very well. His mere knowledge of it could send shivers down most of their spines. But the rest of the arcane, stygian, and ancient secrets in that oversized head? No, not even they were stupid enough to test him when he was like this. Because what he could do with an often literally electric snap of his fingers could put any Troll general, irritable Drow comrade, malfunctioning construct, or wild Spell Punk could ever compare to.

But by the Lighteater did Lord Kaos beat working for Malefor, the Doom Raiders, and Cults of Elemental Evil. Fat chance a bunch of cleaners would take their chances with the Frozen ᚻᚫᛚᛟ when even its greatest devotees were lost to the cold, let alone the faithless. The doors to that gigantic, whirring, hissing machine at the very center of his latest plans creaked open without Kaos even lifting a finger. His favorite worker was already inside, a sopping wet broom brushing away the small pool gathering in one corner of the room.
