a/n: uhhhh so what's the common opinion of him? i can't guage if people like this guy or not. i'm a sucker for clingy men so....
---
"Yuri, you're too heavy, get off of me-"
"Don't wanna..." Yuri yawned into your neck.
He was half asleep, long day that the.... office, he said, and you just happened to be his favourite place to sleep. Now he laid on top of you like some kind of giant koala.
"My windpipes will be crushed, Yuri, I thought you loved me!" You tease, a hand coming up to run through his long hair.
"Mmmfff, do love you.... more than.... anything...." (Except maybe Yor... he really couldn't choose)
After that he fell still, and his breathing grew heavy. You smiled, he deserved some rest.
-
When Yuri woke up, you were gone. He was a heavy sleeper, so it wasn't too hard to imagine sneaking out from under him, but he was disappointed, he had wanted to cuddle more.
Glancing at the clock it was... 7PM? What time had he fallen asleep? He could have sworn it was night time.
After a few more seconds, he got up to go find you.
Stumbling out of the bedroom, Yuri wandered out to the living room, it was early enough for you to still be watching TV, or reading, so he'd have a good chance of finding you there.
You heard a soft thud in the hallway. "Yuri? Is that you?"
"Owww!" He whined, stumbling out and rubbing his head.
"..... you're such a big baby, get over here."
Yuri makes his way to the couch, wrapping his arms around your waist to bury his face in your stomach. "Why'd you leave me?" He mumbled.
"Because it's not late enough to go to sleep. You're going to wake up at 5 and not be able to get back to sleep." You sighed.
".... I don't mind, then I get to cuddle with you longer."
"I will have to kill you in a fit of blind rage if you attempt to wake me up at 5 in the morning."
Did this out of motivation and with my few free time. Sorry for mistakes!

Spy X Family Masterlist
A Mission
The WISE and the SSS organization have been national rivals since the dawn of time. Yet here you were, on a date with Yuri. You had both been introduced to each other by Loid when he invited you to help tutor Anya.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ❀⋆。˚✧。˚⋆❀ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
The day after Yuri’s first visit, Loid immediately went to Handler and informed her of what had happened, but most importantly, that Yuri was a part of the SSS. That's when Handler suggested the idea of [Code name] playing the role of Loid’s younger sister, Y/n Forger.
At first, Loid didn’t see the point until Handler emphasized that Yuri deeply despises him to the core, meaning he would likely try anything to arrest him. One of the few ways for that to change quickly would be for Loid to have a younger sibling, preferably a female, so Yuri wouldn’t have a reason to be jealous or to further annoy him. Handler suggested that Loid introduce Yuri to Y/n.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ❀⋆。˚✧。˚⋆❀ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Days later, Loid was attempting to help Anya improve her academic fundamentals by making her study for her upcoming midterms. However, it proved to be a difficult situation as Anya couldn’t comprehend the formulas or memorize them even when they were explained.
Yor saw this and suggested inviting her younger brother, Yuri, to tutor Anya, since he had mentioned to her that he was open to the idea. That caught Loid’s attention. While he appeared calm and grateful for the idea, his mind was somewhere else. He remembered their first and chaotic encounter too well.
With Handler’s words in mind, Loid also suggested to Yor that his younger sister tutor alongside Yuri. Yor was happy and eager to finally meet Y/n, as Loid mentioned her a few times before. Loid would call you first and ask you to visit to help Anya. It’s the first time he has invited you to his apartment. It was a code between you that the mission of introduction would take place that day.
Yuri arrived before you, and once you arrived, Loid introduced you to them as his younger sister. After Loid left to do another mission, you were given a better opportunity to speak with Yuri. Somehow, Anya managed to help create topics for the two of you to talk about. However, your time together was cut short due to Yuri’s impatience. Thankfully, before leaving, Yuri gave you his telephone number.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ❀⋆。˚✧。˚⋆❀ *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
Now, you were trying to play your cards carefully to proceed with the mission. So far, the date was going well; you were at a carnival in town. You had to admit, it was lovely, and you were genuinely having fun. Yuri was playing balloon darts and was incredibly good at it. Then again, he was an SSS agent. As you cheered him on beside him, you caught something in the corner of your eye. You take a quick look and immediately stiffen. You see Loid and Yor.
‘Are you kidding me?! Of all places!?’ Both of you thought as you made eye contact.
You quickly looked back at Yuri. He doesn’t seem to notice them yet, but still, you can’t have him steer his focus away from you. This mission was crucial for WISE. You try to block his view with your body as much as you can. Once he finished the game and received a small prize, you quickly thought of a way to get away.
“Oh wow, Yuri, you're so talented at darts! How about we go on a roller coaster next?” You said joyfully
“Oh well- Wait is tha-”, You didn’t let him finish and forcefully dragged him by his arm.
“The line will be longer if we aren’t quick,” you said, trying to hide your stress behind your voice. Once you went across the carnival and arrived at the ride, you waited until it was finally your turn.
The rest of the date night continued with you pulling Yuri away to other parts to get away from Loid and Yor. Somehow, you and Loid kept nearly bumping into each other. At some point, you and Yuri were now peacefully eating a few pastries.
“Loid, these desserts look delicious!” Yor was suddenly a few feet behind Yuri at a food stand.
Yuri froze when he heard Yor’s voice. He started turning around. Time went slowly as you panicked.
'No! Both of our date missions will be ruined if he sees her on a date with Loid! What do I do?!’ Your mind is racing to get an idea to stop Yuri from seeing Yor.
With only a few seconds to spare, you did what first came to your mind. You quickly grabbed Yuri's face, turned him to face you, and kissed him right then and there.
After a few seconds, which felt like minutes, you pulled back. Yuri’s face was in pure shock and fully red.
“Yuri, tonight was lovely, but I’m starting to feel tired," You said calmly. “I also don’t want you to feel exhausted tomorrow while you're working.” You grabbed his hand and gently walked out of the carnival with him.
“Huh? Oh right…. I have work tomorrow.” Yuri replied, still processing what happened and completely forgetting he heard Yor’s voice.
As you sat on the train, Yuri was still unusually quiet and looked like he was spacing off into the clouds.
“I apologize, I shouldn’t have done that without your permission.” You said as you looked down with shame. “The night was so exciting that I ended up forgetting it was reality and thought it was a dream.”
That was a lie, but it's something you thought that could explain to him without revealing the truth.
Yuri was pulled out of his thoughts as he heard your words. “No, it’s completely fine.” He assured you as he saw you looking upset. “But…now I’m not sure if this is an appropriate time since we left the carnival, but would you be my girlfriend?”
You gasped. This was a perfect opportunity to get closer to him and gather more intel on the SSS. You told him how you ‘felt’ and accepted being his. He would walk you home with a smile plastered across his face. You shared one more kiss at the door before parting ways.
But the moment you heard his footsteps fade out, you immediately reported to WISE.
‘The Moon is out tonight.’ A simple code to the agents, signaling to them that you’ve succeeded in your mission.
But after you sent the message, a sharp ping of guilt hit your heart. You weren’t sure why. You knew he was the opposing enemy for you, that you shouldn’t harbor feelings for him. Even as a spy, your feelings are supposed to be pushed aside, to never interfere with the mission you were given.
Saw you do sxf and was wondering if you could do the forgers x (platonic) teen reader who babysits anya sometimes (and accidentally gets roped into spy/assassian shenanigans by her)?
My first official non-TWST piece on this blog!!!! Thank you so much for the request!!!!!
Synopsis: The Forgers start having their neighbors' teen kid babysit Anya when they're busy with work. Shenanigans ensue.
Characters: Platonic! Forgers x Teen Reader
Lloyd originally was against the idea of having Anya babysat by some teenager. They could be a bad influence on her after all. Eventually, however, Yor managed to convince him it was a good idea and a great way to get on better terms with their neighbors whom they rarely talked to.
Lloyd did extensive research on every family in their building until one finally caught his eye, the unit directly next to them actually. They had a teenage kid who also attended Eden. When he saw this, all his doubts were as good as gone. This was perfect for the mission!
He quickly set up a plan to just happen to run into the family in the hallway and spark up a conversation that would eventually lead to his end goal. However, just as he was about to put said plan in motion, Yor arrived home with a bright smile on her face.
"I ran into the family in the hallway and asked what they thought about their child babysitting Anya. They agreed!"
The first time you went to babysit Anya actually went pretty smoothly. You helped her out with her homework and Lloyd came home astounded that you were able to make Anya understand the material.
You would bring some healthy yet yummy snacks with you when you went to babysit Anya that Yor asked you to teach her how to make. Most of them didn't require any cooking so she managed to replicate them somewhat decently.
Bond also really liked you as you would bake treats for him too and always knew the best spot to scratch.
"I like the colors you used'" you lean over to look at the painting Anya is working on next to you for her art class. You were working on your own painting and periodically helping the girl out with her own.
Lloyd and Yor had, for the first time, asked you to babysit/housesit for the night. Lloyd claimed to have a patient he needed to stay at the hospital to keep an eye on and Yor claimed to have work assignment she had to spend a night away for.
By the time you and Anya finished painting it was still light outside, but the sun was setting. So when Anya asked to go for a walk, you agreed on the condition that it was short enough that the two of you would be back by dark.
You clipped on Bond's leash and set out for the park. On the way there, Anya kept whipping her head around. "Oh, is agent Anya on a mission?" You whisper playfully to her, assuming that was why she was acting strangely.
"Yes!" She whispers to you seriously.
You decide you'll play along as long as she doesn't try anything dangerous and follow her into the park where she proceeds to attempt to climb a tree only to fail and opt for ducking into some bushes. You follow her with a smile and Bond sits between the two of you as you duck in the bushes.
You aren't exactly sure what's going on, but you follow her around nonetheless. At some point she starts talk loudly to you and, assuming it's part of the game, you play along.
A few feet away a disguised Llyod watches in surprise and relief as his target gets distracted by his daughter and her babysitter who just happen to be in the park. He takes the chance to discreetly knock out his target and drag him away.
These outings to play spy continued with you none the wiser to the actual point of them. You had no clue just how crazy you here driving Lloyd who was desperately trying to figure out how the two of you kept showing up during his missions. He got suspicious of you at one point, but nothing besides your frequent appearances pointed to you being a spy.
Anya was already stressing him out, with you too he was going to start balding.
At some point, Yor decides the family should have you over for dinner as a thank you for all the help you've given them. Lloyd agrees but insists on being the one to cook. To anyone unaware to the situation, they'd think the lot of you were a family. Especially because these dinners ended up becoming a routine. Every time Anya had a test that day, you'd come over to join the family for dinner.
Lloyd had already given up on not getting emotionally attached to Anya, but he wasn't going to let that happen with you as well. He kept telling himself not to get invested, and it was working pretty well until he came home one-night to see you, Anya, and Bond curled up on the couch asleep. Yor met him at the door with a cup of tea in hand and a soft smile on her face.
𝆹𝅥 Fiona Frost, Yor Briar, Loid Forger, Yuri Briar (SPY X FAMILY)
𝆹𝅥 their biggest fear (regarding their darling)
Fiona Frost
Fiona fears that her darling may choose someone else over her. There is no way she would doubt her capabilities and skills, she has devoted her life to her work and don't doubt that she is more than enough to not only provide and keep safe her darling but also to make them happy, however Fiona still feels like she needs to prove herself so her darling will choose to love her willingly and with that in mind the posibility of her darling may not choosing her it is not completely ruled out and it is torturing her
Yor Briar
Yor fears that she will not be enough for her darling. No matter how skilled and strong she may be there is always room for the insecurities and doubts in Yor's mind, she wants nothing more but to be able to have a happy life with her darling, to be able to be her darling's family and safe space but because of that same wish is that she doubts herself a lot, everything she have done so far was just to protect her family and she has never been able to value herself far from that so she doesn't really see why she would be enough for her darling, wich terrifies her
Loid Forger
Loid fears the day he will have to choose between his work and his darling. For the longest time he had nothing but his job, he have devoted his life to his job, to do everything that it is in his power to stop what have terrorized and destroyed his childhood, in his plans was never falling in love with his darling but it happened, without even noticing or planning it his darling became an essential part of his life, something that makes him doubt putting his life at risk, something that makes him wish to have a normal life to be able to stay at your side, something that definetly will interfere with his job at some point
Yuri Briar
Yuri fears that the political situation will end up hurting his darling. There is nothing in this world this man wants more than being able to bring peace and happiness for the two people who means the world to him, Yuri wants to be able to provide his darling with nothing but the best, to shower his darling in love, to be able to create a place where his darling will never have to fear nor lack anything, but because of his job he knows some of the worst part of humanity, he knows what scum looks like and the idea of his darling suffer from it terrifies him just as much as make him feel more determinated to change it
to get the obvious out of the way first, it’s incredibly important to yuri that yor approves of you and your relationship. of course he wouldn’t expect you to be the best of friends immediately (though he does want you to get along well eventually, obviously), but yor is the one who gave up everything to support and raise him after their parents died so it would mean the absolute world to him for you to make the effort to impress her and earn her approval. this may even be an actual dealbreaker for him if she really doesn’t approve, by the way, so be sure to keep that in mind if you want to pursue a relationship with him
he would sooner shoot himself in both knees than ever tell you about what he actually does for work — keeping it a secret from you for the same reason he hides it from yor: because he doesn’t want you to worry about him. that being said, after you two get together he becomes even more motivated at work because now he has two people he intends to protect at all costs… much to the horrid misfortune of any of the poor souls who end up across the table from him during interrogations
the nature of his work means that he often ends up coming home late and unintentionally missing dates with you — though he is always very apologetic and does his best to try and make it up to you however he can. e.g. buying you elaborate and expensive bouquets of flowers on his way home, arranging for a more luxurious date on one of his days off so he can show you how much he cares, cooking your favourite meals for the next week as often as his tight schedule will allow, etc.
he always looks so earnestly happy to see you, almost reminiscent of a golden retriever in some ways — which is quite the hilarious contrast to how he acts while embodying his role as a second lieutenant for the state security service
may or may not utelise his status as a member of the service to get rid of any threats to your social, emotional, and physical wellbeing (and to look into anyone he happens to be jealous of) — but he tells himself that it’s all for the greater good so that makes it all better… right?
neutral about pet names in public but privately very receptive to any sweet terms of endearment you choose to call him so long as they aren’t mocking or silly (he’s particularly keen on ‘sweetheart’, for example)
has an excellent, borderline flawless, memory when it comes to the things you tell him. and the things he learns about you from others in your life. and the things he silently notices on his own. he’s just very observant when it comes to you — not in a creepy way! in the ‘he-gets-you-the-best-presents-out-of-anyone-you’ve-ever-known-and-it’s-almost-like-he-can-read-your-mind’ kind of way — it’s sweet, and he only ever puts his knowledge to good use so it’s fine! probably!
very very receptive to words of affirmation as a love language and practically seems to glow with pride whenever you genuinely praise him for a job well done, a wonderful date, or an excellent gift. bonus points if you punctuate those affirmations with a kiss, but rest assured the words themselves do plenty to lift his spirits on their own
aside from your lips, yuri’s favourite place to kiss you is your hands — specifically the backs and your knuckles, but he’s not super picky and will gladly kiss your palms and fingertips too if the mood strikes. and in return, his favourite places to be kissed are his lips and his cheeks
Hello! I am a person who saw your Loid Forger x soft!Reader and I honestly loved it! So, I was wondering if I could ask for a sort of continuation on it?
Mostly of a scenario wherein soft!Reader has a fear of thunder and lightning storms due to past issues or had a nightmare that reminded her of her not so great childhood. After realizing she’s stayed up for hours (past two in the morning) she eventually decides to go to Loid for some comfort since she views his presence as very comforting and a reassurance of safety. She feels bad about waking him up, and decides that she’ll tough it out herself back in her room, but it’s too late since Loid is already up (despite this being a rare night he actually allows himself proper sleep and rest) and asking what’s wrong.
How does Loid handle the situation? He most likely wouldn’t push her away because he loves her so much, but how would he comfort her given his lack of experience with even his own feelings?
Please take your time with this, so pressure to answer quickly, and have a lovely day/night! And I apologize if you couldn’t understand my request!
oml very VERY late reply.. have this short fic to make up for it :,)

the storm had started sometime after midnight. thunder cracked like a low drum rolling, shaking the windows in their frames. rain battered against the roof of the building, but you could already picture how it would be piercing if it were to pelt down on you. you sat upright in bed, knees to your chest with the blanket clutched between your hands as if it would shield you from the noise- which unfortunately veiled useless.
you hated storms. always had.
from the clouds carefully barreling in throughout the day and the weather forecast via the stereo, you had known this was coming. your day had been simple. a shift at the corner bookstore, picking up anya from the academy, and a quick stop at the groceries to pick up a weekend’s worth of food prep. you tried to pretend you weren’t affected by the inevitable storm- ignoring the gush of the wind as it blew through the town between you and your daughter. you were an adult now, living in a cute apartment with an adorable little girl who loved you and a man who was… well, loid forger. your stoic, composed, and suspiciously attentive fake husband/roommate. now, as you were clutching onto your blanket as the storm rumbled outside, you began to even question how you got here- in this nice three bedroom apartment with a man who presents as your husband and his daughter.
it was an action made in desperation, really. when your mother had called you to join the biannual family gathering one night- your aunts bickering behind her about you being single yet again, you were clawing your way through dates and hangouts to find someone, anyone, to bring. a funny thing how life works. you were on shift, sorting children’s books for the upcoming school year ahead when you heard a young child’s voice. “oh, i wish i had a mama to read me books.” it shouldn’t have been funny to you, but it was. the pink haired child dragging around the blonde man, who you presumed was her father, around your small shop. your small snicker brought you to his attention.. and after a few agreements, you had agreed to play wife for the single father who also happened to be a doctor.. and attractive.. which was exactly your type.
the storm cracked against the window pane next to you, pulling you out of your thoughts on how you ended up here. you were back in your room, blanket pulled close and candle lamp burning low. with a sigh, you throw your blanket over your shoulders and tie it loosely around your neck like a cape as if it’d provide some comfort. swinging your legs off the side of the bed and sliding on your comfiest slippers, you take your almost burnt through candle lamp and make your way to the kitchen. the air outside your room is somehow colder and crisp and you pulled your blanket cape a bit tighter around your shoulders as you set your candlelight onto the kitchen counter. you weren’t so sure why you were here. a cup of water? no.. a warm glass of milk might put you to sleep, you reason. the candle flickers as you turn to find a mug to use and half blindly searching for the mug and a small pot to warm it on the stove. your hand had flown to your mouth in attempts to hide your shock as you nearly shriek when your turn around to see a both confused and tired blonde eyeing you from across the counter.
“are you alright?” his voice asks lowly.
you’re nearly half certain your soul left your body.
loid stands there, freshly woken, hair tousled from his pillow and the faintest crease of sleep still in the corners of his eyes. in the flickering candlelight, you see he’s wearing a plain white shirt and navy pajama pants. there’s something strangely comforting seeing him like this.. unpolished and out of his every day suit and tie. something real.
“i..” you blink, setting the mug on the counter between you two and clutching your blanket cape around your shoulders. “i didn’t mean to wake you.”
“you didn’t,” he shrugged, rubbing his eyes. “the thunder did.”
your lips tighten in a straight, strained smile and you nodded once. “i.. couldn’t sleep.” you explained simply, turning to the fridge to pull out the milk jug and pour it into the small pot on the stove to warm it.
loid’s gaze softens as it moves over you. he’s silent for a few seconds—too long. he sees things you don't say out loud: the way your shoulders curl slightly inward, the tension in your hands, the faint shimmer of unease in your eyes. and loid forger, trained spy or not, is not immune to patterns. he's watched you closely—always attentive, always cataloging. and the bastard he is doesn’t say anything more as he hummed in acknowledgement. he thinks, despite himself, that its best he don’t comfort you. he couldn’t risk you getting attached. couldn’t risk the mission- risk his own feelings. he lets you move about the kitchen, no questions asked. simply moved to the pantry to take out the small jar of honey you had recently bought at the farmers market and leaves it next to the stove.
“the honey is soothing. it’ll help.” he said plainly before returning to his room.
you watched him leave.
he disappeared down the hallway with that same silent, effortless grace he always carried — a man trained to leave without leaving a trace. no creak of the floorboards. no flicker of hesitation. the quiet click of his bedroom door had a finality to it. for a moment, all you could do was stand there — blanket still tied like a child’s makeshift cape, fingers clutched around the edge of the counter as if it could tether you to something stable. the candlelight danced across the tiles, throwing soft, distorted shadows across the floor.
you turned back to the pot. the honey jar.
the milk was gently bubbling around the edges now, and you stirred in the honey with slow, deliberate movements. he hadn’t had to do that — leave the jar out. but he did. because loid noticed everything. every twitch, every tremble, every tiny shift in routine.
you poured the milk into your mug and brought it with you to the couch, settling in with the candle on the coffee table and your blanket drawn close. the flickering flame painted your apartment in warmth. you sat there quietly, sipping the milk. it was soothing, just like he said. softly sweet, familiar. but the calm didn’t last.the thunder rolled again- deeper this time, crueler- and you flinched before you could help it.
you pressed the mug to your lips again just for something to do. but your thoughts were already slipping somewhere colder. you could feel it creeping in at the edges, that ache in your chest that told you you weren’t okay — no matter how warm the drink or soft the lighting.
the worst part of storms wasn’t the noise.
it was the feeling of being seven years old again. sitting in a hallway corner because your bedroom window was leaking and no one came when you cried. huddled under a blanket that smelled like mildew and your mom’s perfume. pretending you weren’t scared. pretending you were invisible.
you pulled your legs up to your chest again, curling into yourself.
you didn’t want to wake him.
loid needed rest. he barely allowed himself time to sleep as it was, and this was probably the one rare night he could. you hated the idea of disrupting that. of being needy. that wasn’t what this arrangement was supposed to be, anyway.
you were here to play a part. fake wife. fake mother. fake family.
but sometimes… sometimes it felt too real.
because loid never treated you like an obligation. he never made you feel like a burden. he noticed things. he brought you coffee at work if he and anya were in the area. carried the grocery bags without you asking. watched anya with the kind of tenderness that made your heart ache with softenness. and tonight, when you turned and nearly screamed from the shock of seeing him — he didn’t laugh. didn’t mock. he just… stood there. soft and concerned. warm in ways he didn’t even realize.
you stared down at your mug, then over at the hallway. his bedroom door was closed. but the soft glow from beneath it told you he hadn’t gone back to sleep yet. the thunder cracked again, sharp and sudden — you flinched so hard the milk in your cup spilled over the rim and onto your wrist.
this was stupid. you were an adult. you should’ve been able to handle it. still, almost against your will, your legs carried you toward his door — blanket still draped around your shoulders like armor.
you raised your hand to knock… and stopped.
maybe this was too much. you could go back to the couch. tough it out. wait until the storm passed.
you turned to leave—
click
the door opened.
loid stood there, brow furrowed in concern, already fully awake. like he’d been standing just on the other side.
he blinked down at you, voice quiet. “you’re still up.”
you couldn’t look him in the eyes.
“i’m sorry,” you said quickly, already stepping back. “it’s nothing. i shouldn’t have come, i just— i’ll go back to the living room.”
but before you could take another step, his hand reached out — not forcefully, not demanding. just gentle. fingers brushing your blanket, holding you in place.
“…what’s wrong?”
that’s all it took.
your throat tightened, and suddenly you couldn’t answer without your voice betraying you. so instead, you looked at him — really looked at him. hair still messy, shirt creased at the collar, warmth in his eyes hidden under worry and exhaustion.
you shook your head.
“i just… don’t want to be alone right now.”
loid didn’t move for a moment- eyes looking at you with nothing but quiet softness and concern before he stepped aside and opened the door wider.
and for the first time that night, you let yourself believe it.
Can you do a headcannon for loid forger baddass sexy spy fem s/o please

Loid knew of your reputation and he knew there would never be a dull moment if you two were paired together but you had a way of keeping others on their toes
sure enough, he thought correctly and you already had words fired off just to make him flustered. “Oh look at that, the two of us making such a handsome couple!”
Loid never gave second thought to his appearance and the most mundane but
your compliments and the occasional tighter or shorter clothes you wear have him in a chokehold
Poor dude is strugglin™️ once Anya becomes present and he sees some sixth sense just awaken in you like a switch
Anya hugging you, you carrying her, the way you can kick and punch in someone’s teeth senseless just to protect them both
dude is gone and can never really look at you the same whenever you take down someone who wishes to do harm
Practicing sparring with Loid is a sure way to get him underneath you (hehe) but he’s not complaining when you lock his hands above his head

Yor knew the relationship with Loid was fake and built on the narrative of getting Anya into school, but she could not help falling hard for the man. Between the way he cared for himself, how they looked as a family, and his gentle words when it came to Anya- it was like they were a real family, something she always had wanted. So, when she didn’t get a call from Loid’s office today explaining that he’d be late, she was a bit worried about when he would come home. Yor put Anya to bed after homework and dinner, allowing Bond to sleep with her as usual, and sat in the living room.
When Loid walked into the apartment, he was practically glowing with happiness. “Loid! I didn’t know you were going to be working late today.” Yor said with worry leaking from her voice, “Oh, I do apologize, I had a visitor today..” Loid said as he cleared his voice. He felt somewhat bad for keeping his real relationship and his real daughter away from Yor, but it could affect how the mission finishes out. So, he kept this information private, and away from her and Anya.
“Oh? A visitor?” Yor asked, Loid shook his head “Just.. a friend, her daughter needed some counseling.” he lied. Yor smiled and nodded, “Well, we had take-out, leftovers are in the fridge.” she offered before getting up and nodding in the direction of Loid. “Night..” Yor mentioned passing him, making sure to gently bump into him and touch hands. Loid just nodded his head, “Good night, Yor.” he replied before heading to the kitchen.
After eating some cold take-out, Loid was stuck in his head. He just sat back and sighed, he missed his daughter and he had hardly talked to her, but he also missed his real wife, his real bed, and his real home. Loid was beyond shocked and impressed on how his wife had been raising their daughter all by herself. He just sighed and leaned back, running a hand through his hair. He was stressed, and all he was truly craving was what his life could be with his daughter and wife.
[YourName] gently puts Lotte down into her crib, smiling down at the little one. For once, she felt happy, light on her feet. She shuts the door as quietly as she could before walking down the hallway and giggling, “He remembers me!” [YourName] cheered as she twirled before landing on the couch. Sure, she missed her husband and seeing him every day but being able to see him and be able to kiss his lips brought joy to her.
The following day would be a Saturday, so Anya didn’t have school. “I want to do something today!” Anya whined at breakfast, Yor looked over to Loid silently looking for options to entertain their adopted daughter. “We could.. Go to the park with Bond.” Loid offered, Yor nodded her head in agreement- thinking whatever he came up with would be good. Anya gasped “An Ooting!” she celebrated, “You hear that, Bond? We’re taking you out on an ooting!” the child said, turning to the big dog.
Soon, breakfast concluded and it was time to get ready for the park. Loid thought that perhaps the park would have been better than sitting in front of the TV all day. So, Yor helped Anya get ready before doing so herself, “Do you think papa loves me?” Yor asked Anya. Anya paused, she knew the truth. She knew Loid wasn’t who he was, he was actually a spy with an actual family, she just didn’t want to hurt her mama’s feelings. “Of course! Papas are supposed to love mamas!” Anya said innocently, as if she didn’t know better. “Ah, yes, you’re right.” Yor replied, getting up to her feet “Well, I’m going to get ready.” she said gently before exiting her daughter’s room.
Yor would get ready, admiring herself in the mirror before patting her flustered cheeks. She had been thinking about the possible compliments Loid would give her for dressing appropriately and dressing Anya on top of that. She adored when he complimented on her motherly tendencies and duties, it made Yor fall for Loid harder each time.
Eventually, the family headed out and to the park. Loid held Bond’s leash while Yor held Anya’s hand. Once at the park, Loid hesitated but let Bond off his leash and allowed him and Anya to play together. Yor stood with Loid, gently holding his arm, it didn’t bother Loid as it made them look like a real family- but if he’s going to be honest, he wished Yor was [YourName].
Things were going smoothly until there was a cry heard throughout the park, immediately Loid and Yor turned to where it was coming from and there sat a toddler. But not just any toddler, it was Lotte. Loid didn’t push Yor off, but he disconnected from Yor quickly and rushed to the child, gently kneeling to be Lotte’s height, Yor soon joining with Anya and Bond. “Oh dear..” Yor said, looking around, trying to find this toddler’s mother or nanny.
“Where’s your momma?” Loid gently asked the toddler, Lotte would wipe her face and recognize Loid and cling to him. “W-Work.” Lotte replied, so Loid assumed there would be a nanny somewhere looking for Lotte. Loid scooped the little one up, shaking his head, he couldn’t just ask people if they were looking for Lotte, that could easily lead to a kidnapping. So, looking over at Yor, Loid pulled out his phone and contacted [YourName].
Turns out, [YourName] was called into work for some paperwork and the neighbor’s teenage daughter was supposed to be looking after Lotte- but there was no sign of her. “I’ll be there a-s-a-p.” [YourName] said before hanging up, Yor looked a little confused as Loid put his phone away “I know her mother.. well.” Loid explained gently bouncing the small one in his arms.
Just five minutes later, [YourName] came rushing over, crying because the thought of her daughter being missing scared her. She brought Lotte into her arms before sobbing, and acting on instinct Loid brought [YourName] in for a hug too so the three of them were grouped together. Yor couldn’t help but watch and feel a bit jealous, she wanted the chemistry that was strung throughout the air when Loid hugged this stranger. Deep down, Yor knew there was more to the story but her love for Loid took over those thoughts.
Loid would finally disconnect from [YourName] and Lotte once his wife had calmed down. With her free hand, [YourName] wiped her tears and Loid smiled at her. Yor cleared her throat making Loid and [YourName] look over and it finally clicked, Yor wanted to be introduced. Loid didn’t exactly want to introduce his fake wife to his real wife, but he had to keep suspicions low. “[YourName]... This is, uh, my wife Yor and over there is our daughter Anya and dog, Bond.” Loid said, giving his wife an apologetic look.
[YourName] nodded her head slowly, offering her free hand after making sure it was dry. “I’m [YourName].” She said, Yor smiled happily when Loid called her his wife, shaking [YourName]’s hand. “It’s always nice to meet someone my husband knows!” Yor said cheerfully, and something in [YourName] broke a little, not being able to call Loid her husband or kiss him when she needed it hurt, and to know he was spending free time with the perfect, well-built family hurt a little more than she thought it would.
“I got to.. Uhm, go..” [YourName] said, spinning around and heading toward her car. “Wait! [YourName]!” Loid called out, but [YourName] ignored him as she rushed to her vehicle. The mother sat Lotte down into her car seat and sighed once she got into the driver's seat, She put her hands on the wheel and placed her head against her knuckles as she cried. She missed her husband dearly and she couldn’t take just being friends with Twilight. Even if it was just for a few moments, seconds, minutes.
Yor noticed a difference in Loid, he was trying to hide his hurt, anger, and confusion- but Yor could sense something was wrong. She didn’t want to directly ask him what was up, so she simply leaned against him which made Loid tense up. She noticed this, but decided to ignore it and hoped Loid found comfort in her ways of comforting him. The rest of the day at the park went smoothly, no other crying children separated from their mothers or babysitters were around, so Loid, Yor, Anya, and Bond headed back to the apartment.
Loid was silent for most of the night, only talking when spoken to. He made dinner for everyone, sat with them as they ate, and then put Anya to bed after she watched some spy shows. Yor was getting tired of the silence Loid was offering up, so she finally spoke up; “What’s wrong?” Yor asked finally to her husband. “It’s nothing.” Loid tried to reply, but Yor didn’t take that as an answer.
Loid finally looked at Yor, sighing with aggravation, “Fine, what’s wrong is I miss my wife and child.” he says scoffing. “What? You were with us all day, no need to miss us, Loid..” Yor explained, placing a hand on to his bicep, but Loid shook it off.
