[FLAG PT: the first flag is from the alter template created by k9coded (deactivated tumblr account). there is a rhombus in the center of the flag with lines stretching out from each side to the edge of the flag. then there are fourth individual sections separated by the center rhombus. in the first section on the top left is a medium dark red, lighter than crimson but not by much. the second section on the top right is a lighter red. the third section on the bottom left is a dark, crimson red. the fourth section on the bottom right is a red similar to the petals on a rose, a deep red but not dark in tone. the rhombus in the middle is split into two sections, the left being a beige color and the right being a cream color.

When a headmate is inspired by something or someone (likely while or around the time of forming, but does not have to be) in a way that they aren't that thing or individual but still feel connected to it.

Some non exclusive examples of this are,

A headmate that formed while the plural unit was fixated on FNAF, causing the headmate to be inspired by William afton, but not be him

A headmate of an original character that was inspired or influenced by pre-existing character or similar.

A headmate that first formed as a fictive that has since gotten to a (self determined) point where they feel that now the character only inspired them and who they are.

Hazegenic (Hay-z-ih-gen-ih-k): A system that forms from what feels like fog and continues to act in the same functionality. Headmates appear out of what feels like a fog or a haze and may continue to come and go from that fog.

This is different from a gateway system as there are no gates or portals and headmates do not go to a different reality or universe. They simply seem to cease existing in headspace and then return at a later date. This is also different from dormancy as the headmate chooses to come and go, almost as if taking a nap or a break. A headmate cannot be forced to disappear or reappear from the fog or haze.

This term and flag can be used by anyone, but op is endo safe. DO NOT recoin my terms.
