Vampire marriage is introducing your husband to “What We Do in the Shadows” and watching him go through every emotion known to man as he finds it funny and then gets mad that he finds it funny because it feels targeted. 😂 (Love you, baby.)

Kristy~
Being proposed to is one of the only things that has truly left me speechless over my long existence. I am used to being desired, an urge one might indulge in now and again, only to need distance moments later. I felt as if I would never move again, as if every thought I had simply was not. I will never forget the look upon Kristine’s face, the way she held the ring as she glanced upward to me, the way words refused to leave my lips. It was a blur, though I vaguely remember screaming, though I believe it was more in shock than excitement.
I demanded if she was certain. I insisted she had not thought this through. She was not hurt, did not become enraged at my own emotions. Instead, she laughed and asked with mirth, “I know! It’s exciting, right?”
My Kristine, my perfect specter of all I have longed for, I do not know how you remain composed in my chaos. At this point, I find myself not desiring to discover your secret. I will be pleased with where I am and never reject your affection.

We’re thrilled to announce it finally happened. As of last night, Lestat and I are officially engaged. Never thought I’d find my happy ever after with a headmate, let alone a fictive, but hey. I’m not gonna complain!

I cannot believe this woman. She’d told me a ring was arriving, and lied so confidently that it would be several more days until it was here. It had arrived early, and she spent her day preparing this surprise in secret. The detail on this ring astounds me. In her words, “I didn’t want to get you a diamond. Everyone has a diamond, and you’re not everyone.”
I adore her.

In case you’re wondering how much my husband has enjoyed LotR: Fellowship so far, we’ve listened through a whole half of the book today. For context, that’s eleven hours. He very nearly didn’t even want to go on our lunch date today to listen to more of the book. Man has a one track mind when it comes to art lol 🩷

My and Lestat’s wedding rings. It came in today. ❤️ Go figure, he was very romantic and very poetic and got me a ring to represent the sky to his earth, since he has vines on his ring. Mine is engraved with little suns and stars and has little crystals in the star engravings the whole way around. ❤️❤️❤️

This woman is very fucking inquisitive. I felt as if I were smuggling goods, trying to hide this from her. It was all worth it in the end, though.

For the first time in my existence, in so many years, I’m being given the ability to be more than I have been prior. To return to myself. To something I forgot years ago. I can thank only my Kristine for this. I can’t possibly state how much she means to me.

Damn! Lestat and I were doing pretty okay for our first string of mysteries, but this game is actually pretty challenging. Our character lost her sanity due to a battle with a spirit and we got our first game over. But hey! We had fun and we’ve learned a bit more of what the game is asking of us. This game is really forcing us to put our heads together ❤️🥳 -Kristy
This has been very different from what I expected from such a game. I wondered if I would enjoy it at first. There are many more ‘moving aspects’ as one would say that you must remain aware of. I’m eager to see how our next attempt will go. -Lestat
hello :) question for kristy and lestat from a new in system couple
do you guys have any recommendations for things to do together in the physical world? as in, activities and general dating hanging out things. my insys partner and i have been really drawing a blank hahah, we've played jenga and watched some shows together but were wondering if you two (who have much more experience than us i think) had done anything fun you could share. if not, that's perfectly okay!!
we really you guys' blog in general. so sorry for the recent influx of awful asks!! have a nice day/night :))
Hi! Kristy here. You caught me just as I was out snacking.
I’ll just give you a list of things he and I have done together, save for the uh… Adult times. (If you’re over 18 and ever want info on that, I’d be fine with talking about it).
Things we’ll do:
-Play video games together
-Get ready together for a date
-Go out and eat together
-Talk while I cook us a meal
-Go out and see a film together (we’re currently planning to go see Hokum soon, actually)
-Go out for a walk and talk in co-front
-Hold hands
-Talk in co front about our lives and differences
-I’ll do his hair in-sys
-He’ll review dresses I try on while in co-con
Just some ideas we personally use!
