Hiii! If reqs are open, can I request for all the mercs finding out teen merc reader grew up with very neglectful parents, and is basically a mother to her younger siblings? The only reason she even took up a job as a mercenary is so she can pay the bills for her little brothers and sisters, since her parents are too busy using their money on drugs:/

✧ He says he relates, but in reality he doesn't. His family was filled with successful boys (fatherless) and his mother who they all loved. He sent his paychecks to her every time.

✧ When you explained that you had to take care of your siblings from a younger age over the campfire he became quiet.

✧ Doesn't make a joke, but the awkward air was getting to him.

"so.. how many siblings ya got?"

✧ He only says this to break the ice

✧ After a while he understands why you're always on calls with people, always away on ceasefire and always take any off days you can get (hardly any)

Soldier

"AN AMERICAN CARETAKER SHOULD NOT INTAKE DRUGS FROM THE FRENCH!!"

✧ He's trying, but not hard enough

✧ He offers you one of his extra helmets and his raccoons. He cares for you like a strange rabid dog you found on the street.

✧ Shares his food with you, gives his loyalty to your brothers and sisters with a goofy salute.

✧ Don’t let him meet your siblings unless you want him to get them to dig a trench around your house

Pyro

".. mph?"

✧ They don't understand why your parents aren't using their own money.

✧ They don't understand a lot of what you explained

✧ They'll begin to offer any candies they have to you, not like they weren't already. Protects you a lot on the battlefield and draws pictures for you and your siblings (mostly balloonicorn) 

✧ Would like to meet your siblings though, they've got plushies to share 100%

Heavy

✧ He pats you on the back and nods, he didn't need to mother/father a group of kids but having no father made his family's life harder.

✧ Teaches you some night hearty meals that could feed a battalion

✧ Also teaches you self defense, even if you know it already it's never enough (heavy tells you that like :nerd: )

✧ Also makes you sit and have some time to yourself, he's your 'father' now. No ifs, buts or whys

Engineer

"pardon."

✧ He says, frying pan in hand as he was cooking breakfast. Staring at you like he was going to kill a set of parents.

✧ Tries to keep you safer on the battlefield, not wanting you to suffer more than your family has done to you.

✧ Teaches you to cook, like heavy 

✧ Cooks breakfast for you first, and when you have a rough time its 100% only you getting proper meal.

✧ Will drive you to your family's house, and stand there like a guard as you let him meet your brothers.

✧ Probably would build little contraptions for them and help tutor them.

✧ Loves you like family, including your siblings (not your parents, not at all)

Demoman

✧ He's drunk when you tell him this, he raises his bottle and spits out

"aye, fuck ya parents"

✧ He passes out immediately

✧ If he's sober when you mention it again he's going to be more caring(slightly) and since hes always at least tipsy he'll offer you his bombs like a drug dealer.

✧ If you say yes he'll blow up them and their crackhouse.

✧ Is on the fence about meeting your siblings, he doesn't really want your brothers seeing a drunk, half-blind Scot stumbling around.

Medic

✧ His eye twitches, a large insane smile on his face as he turns to you while having his elbows deep in the corpse of the enemy heavy.

"Did I mishear you?"

✧ He removes his hands from the corpse and comes over to you shaking you like crazy. Ranting about how a teenager shouldn't be caring for small children and asking if you had symptoms for any mental issues.

✧ He's insane, I'm not gonna sugar coat it.

✧ But he is smart and teaches you how to do some basic first aid

'no medic I'm not going to remove any appendices please stop cutting into scout'

✧ Wants to meet your sisters, offers them to play with his birds and offers up some plushies

'MEDIC DON'T GIVE THEM SYRINGES' 'and PLEASE put away the baboon heart'

Sniper

✧ Asks for you to repeat what you muttered and then offers to 'get rid' of your parents (sniper put down the rifle.. and the jarate)

✧ Drives you back and to your family home, is uncomfortable around small children so he's going to 100% either stay in his truck or be leaning against it the whole time.

✧ Don't worry he didn't bring any jarate with him.. Just don't check the truck (please) 

✧ But if he mentions taking care of birds your siblings demand to see them, so they get along well

Spy

✧ He will assassinate them, won't tell you, but it'll be suspicious when your mother dies from an overdoses while having and obvious bullet hole through her chest

✧ Look, he wasn't a father to scout but he'll be a father for you. Better than your last father at least, and a little better than he was to scout.

✧ Teach your siblings french 100%, you won't know until they start speaking it and you're left dumbfounded.

Omg medics reaction to finding a badly injured s/o who didnt call for him cos they didnt want to interrupt

had not seen you nor heard your voice some time ago in battle, it seemed strange to him.

It was when the scout informed him that you were in a corner badly wounded that he became concerned.

It was one of the few times that he left heavy alone on the battlefield and came to your aid, with the Russian's approval.

when he sees you he has mixed feelings

sadness, doubt, anger

he heals you immediately, while letting you go to continue on the battlefield.

When it's all over and his team wins, he calls you to start bombarding you with 'why didn't you call him for help' questions.

When you tell him it was because you didn't want to interrupt or bother him, his face goes blank.

Did he give you some wrong signal that you were bothering him or thought you were interrupting him?

he assures you otherwise, you tell yourself that you are very important to him and not to let it cross your mind that you are interrupting him at any time, he is happy to attend to you and your needs.

From now on he always keeps an eye on you in the battlefield, if he doesn't see or hear you for a long time, he simply goes looking for you.

Hello! My name is Mr. Fluff Ball. This blog is an tf2 x reader blog :) I will take requests in! (by the way, all the writings will be gn reader) Read the rule down below. What I will write for: tf2 x reader fluff (hell yeah), slightly angst (comfort, etc), (give me the fluff!!!), headcanon, imagine, etc are ok.

What I will not write for: merc x merc (character x character), nsfw (I repeat I won't write for nsfw!), sexual abuse, yandere, senstive topics, pregnancy, gore, eating disorder, suicide, really sad stuff (like cheating, break up,etc) yep thats it I think, I might add more but just in general this blog is an tf2 x reader fluff

Extra notes: I don't do matchups, oc, cant do accents but might add phases in their language. Umm...I swear a lot. let's just say that for short. I also don't do one-shots I like to keep it pretty short. Also, I kinda suck at writing about children so um this might change later on but for now pls don't do anything about children. As I said before this might change after I gain some experience.

~Rules~

The most important rule! Be nice and polite, not all requests are going to be worked on, so just letting you know that if I don't come to your request then I am sorry! But feel free to request something different if the requests are open!

You can request all the mercs but! it will be shorter the more characters you request for. If you ask for one merc it will longer.

Not a rule but it is okay to request twice! There is no problem with that. But don't send like 10 requests okay? I also am a human and have a life. :)

~Mini rule~

So when you request for reacting for all of the mercs. I would appreciate it if you added the top 1~3 characters/mercs you want to see. You see, sometimes I cannot do all 9 mercs. I also have a life and is not generally busy but not free all the time either. So um if you could put the 1~3 character that you definitely want me to write about, that would be epic.

Example: How the mercs heat patting you. (medic, sniper, scout)

I can do all! Just putting those three can save me time and just help me not stress out!

Basically, the (___) is just HEY! um If you don't have time for all of them you can focus on these three :D

Could I get the mercs reacting to an so who doesn't realize they're injured till someone points it out to them? Not broken bones or anything just sometimes they get big cuts or gashes on their legs and don't notice cause they haven't seen it

- VERY EXCITED TO BE A DAD

- you know that stupid happy grin he pulls in the comics? It’s that, every time he thinks about it

- It almost...grounds him a little bit? He’s more sane and down to earth now that you’ve got a little one on the way

- Starts trying very hard not to randomly yell all the time

- Still says the same stuff tho, but he says it to ur pregnant tum

- Shushes other people if they’re being too loud around you

- Secretly hopes you have a girl

Scout

- This fucking guy. He can’t shut up about it. Tells his friends, absolutely boasts about it

- When you told him you were pregnant he just whispered “Oh my god we’re having kids” and got all teary eyed about it

- Will gladly indulge your weird cravings (chocolate covered pickles or some shit) and uh...might actually join in because let’s face it he’ll put some questionable stuff into his mouth

- Tends to your every need, offers to do literally anything and everything for you

- You were already his queen but this is a new level of dedication

- Total adoration. He’s so excited.

Demo

- Shocked because?? What the fuck he never imagined being a dad

- High key sobers up and gets clean because he wants to set a really good example for his kid(s)

- Supports you throughout pregnancy, sits with you and will rub your back when it hurts

- Sings to you and the baby

- Paints the nursery room and decorates it with you

Engie

- “Oh, you’re pregnant? Well here let me draw up plans for a whole fully-equipped crib that is entirely safety proofed and-“

- Way overplans for everything!

- Bought the exact same baby clothes in several different colors, baby-proofs the entire house....you’re only like four months along.

- Honey slow down

- If you didn’t want to have the baby sleep in a crib in your own bedroom he would literally have built an entire one-room extension on the base with soundproofing and everything (it almost happened)

- Definitely sets up an extra sentry outside ur window...just in case

Heavy

- BEAR HUSBAND

- Picks you up and holds you and is like “mess with my s/o and you fucking die”

- Tells his family; they are so happy for you!!!

- He’s kinda overprotective, doesn’t like for you to be by yourself for too long

- Side note: Zhanna is the BEST sister in law and offers to babysit in the future. Somehow you don’t foresee it ending terribly well.

- He wants to teach his child how to read very early on in life and gets both English and Russian children’s books

- As the due date comes closer he gets more and more excited and you talk about it more often

- Just.....family

Pyro

- *muffled “HUDDAH!!”*

- Paints the room into pyroland; rainbows, unicorns, cotton candy clouds - you name it, it’s in there

- Except that uh...it was all just straight up murals of fire at first. Some of it stayed, but you worked the nicer stuff in

- Super excited when your baby bump becomes more noticeable

- Full of love

Spy

- initially, he is extremely nervous about having a kid

- After all....last time he did, it didn’t go so well. He’s still very shameful about it.

- However, when he sees you light up talking about your future together with a child he can’t help but smile and encourage your vision

- He is determined not to repeat his past mistakes and stays by your side the whole way through

- He adores you and will always be ready to protect you and your baby

Sniper

- Gets all sniffly and just brings you in wraps his arms around you and tells you how much he loves you

- He doesn’t think that he’s fit to be a dad, but nearly every day you tell him how great he’ll be, and he feels just a little more confident

- Will off a motherfucker if they say anything to you that makes you even mildly upset

- Buys so many animal books. So many.

- Cleans and cooks for you especially on days when it’s a little worse

- Still in total disbelief that he will be Dad Man™

Medic

- Usually he’s not all touchy feely but after you tell him you’re pregnant this changes drastically

- Lifts you off your feet in a sweeping, strong hug and giggles while kissing you

- Becomes...very soft....

- Unless someone tries to fuck with you and then wow that is far too graphic to go over in a cute fluff post

- He checks your health very often and makes sure you get everything you need

- Very good at helping thru morning sickness, and afterwards he sits with you for a while and pets your tummy absentmindedly while you rest and he reads

- Somehow, the entire situation calms him down as a person and he’s just kind of mellow and lovey.

A/N: I may be going on a temporary hiatus for about a week or so to get settled into college. I am not leaving you!!! I shall be back shortly. Thank you all so much for choosing to follow me, and I look forward to writing more for you soon!

Ch 1 SniperXreader

Reader goes to check on her friend (*cough* Jeremy) from art collage who's gotten a hit placed on them... and ends up working with him.

     It took time to let the idea settle… Jeremy my friend from art collage was now a Mercenary and someone wanted him dead. I had to find out who. Art school didn't pan out too well for me either. I was now a side show in a fucking circus. 'The Amazing Female Sharpshooter' is what I was called… how demining. At least I could use these skills for something better than being a sideshow; I had to stop whoever wanted my old friend dead. So I packed my stuff up in the back of my Hurst and headed to New Mexico… Trufort. Shouldn't be too hard to find him from there.

       The drive to Trufort was horrible. It was too hot during the day and my car kept overheating. It was too cold to sleep at night without several layers of clothes, which is overly annoying. The town… if it could be called that, was strangely green. People where everywhere, giving me strange looks… I guess that’s what I get for driving the a car of the dead.  I soon found a place to eat; it was a tiny dinner, didn't look like it had been upgraded since the twenties. I sat down at the crowed bar next to a man in a suit, hopefully he wouldn't bother me… although I should be asking about Jeremy. "What can I get you outsider?" The waitress was old and used up, she looked worse than most of the people I worked with in the circus. "I'll have a sweet tea and a menu please." The suited man next to me gave me a slight glance, I paid no mind to him. The waitress dropped a menu in front of me and my sweet tea. "Just holler when you're ready sweety." I nodded to her… "You're from Texas aren't you?" It was the man in the suit, why on gods green earth was he talking to me? "Yeah, what's it to ya?" He just let out a hum in response. I gave him a longer glance, he was just as out of place as I was… Who the hell wears a balaclava in the middle of the New Mexico summer? He may be the one I want to talk to find Jeremy. "So, Frenchie…" I set my menu aside. "I wouldn’t eat the food here…"

"Not what I wanted to ask ya." He turned to me, we faced for the first time, his clear blue eyes pierced me. "I'm looking for an old collage friend, he's had a hit put on him…" He turned form me and pulled out a smoke. "He knows." The man took a long drag off of it. "I'll let him know that you came by to see him." A gun was put into my side, I didn’t flinch. "Look mister, Jeremy's a friend of mine…" the gun was removed. "So you do actually know him." I faced the counter again and called for the waitress. "I'll have a slice of apple pie." She nodded and walked away, the man stood and walked left the dinner. He was somewhat strange, but he knew Jeremy, so it was a start. I sat and ate my pie in peace.

       The next morning was slow. The whole town knew Jeremy… and wanted him dead… So much so that they arrested me for being an accomplish!... "I demand my phone call!" the guards just laughed at me. I guess they thought a small angry woman was something to not be scared of. If I ever got out of this they would be the first on my list to kill. As the day went I sat and bore holed into the guards with my eyes until they got uncomfortable and left the hall. "Hey… (Y/N)?" I looked to the window. "Ah, so you do know her…"

"We got to get her out Spy." It was Jeremy and the guy from the dinner. "Hey, you're still alive." I reached up to the window and pulled myself up to look out of it. Sure enough I saw Jeremy, and a pair of well-dressed legs. "Thanks for coming and checking on me, I knew you'd always be a good friend!..." He turned away from the window. "Don’t worry, me and Spy'll get ya out." Jeremy stood. "There was never a 'we' in this…" I heard them walk away. So, the nice dressed one went by Spy… what an odd nickname. I lowered myself from the window and sat back on my bed and waited.

       About an hour and a half passed, I was about ready to give up when the power cut off and my cell door opened. "About time." I stood and started walking out of the jail. "Hold it!" It was a guard, all he had was a baton. "I'm good, not that you  can stop me." I kept walking towards him, and like magic he fell to the floor with a knife in his back. With a cloud of smoke Spy appeared. "I could have handled him." Spy picked up his knife and I reached for the baton. He put his knife away with one swift movement. "If we want to live we have to hurry." He began walking towards the door. "Walking isn't exactly hurrying." He disappeared in a cloud of smoke, I took this as my que to take off running. I left the building to see Jeremy in my car. "Move over!" He moved from the driver's seat and I jumped in the open window. Seconds later Spy appeared opening my car door. "Move…" I slid over in the bucket seats and he sat down at the wheel. "You know how to drive a stick right Spy?" Spy glared at Jeremy. "Of course I do!" We took off towards the desert. "You're friend better be worth it!" I looked in the rear view mirror. "We have company…" I climbed over the seats into the back of the Hurst. I grabbed my riffle and opened the back window. I took a shot at the driver of the cop car, if my bullet didn’t kill him the crash that happened afterwards did. The cars piled up behind us. "Good shot (Y/N)!" I turned to Jeremy and gave him a wink. "I've been practicing…"

"Hold on!" The car took a sharp lane change at a high speed and I was slammed into the side of the car, knocked unconscious by the butt of my riffle.

The moment you show him the dog he wants it

No convincing needed, he's always wanted a dog

Now both of you have to convince Engineer and Medic to keep it.

Which was easy

This dog is going to be spoiled by you and scout

He goes on his morning runs with it

Instead of a collar it has a bandana wrapped around its neck

He tried to name it bonk and you immediately declined and threatened to lock him out of the base

Engineer:

When you found a small, skinny brown cat hidden behind a few crates you were in love.

Taking it to engineer quickly and begging to keep it, he looks uneasy (cat could have fleas, or ringworm and you're here touching it)

You and the cat convince him quickly, you with your puppy eyes and the cat with its.. uh cat qualities.

Medic gave it a small look over, it doesn't have fleas or ringworm.

He doesn't want it inside his workroom in case it gets too close to the machinery.

He'll sneak the cat some food when he's cooking meats.

Spy

"non"

You did not even SHOW him the cat and he was saying no.

You found a skinny black cat on the battlefield, took it and ran straight to spy to show him.

He doesn't want a feline shedding fur onto his suits, furniture or himself.

You keep the cat either way

The cat is very laid back, an older feline who just enjoys being in the sun.

He'll like the cat one day, but not early on.

The cat loves him though, always wants to be inside of his smoking room and wanting to lay in-front of the fireplace.

He'll buy it expensive cat food, if its going to stay in his smoking room it won't be eating cheap, disgusting smelling cat food
