It's a 'What if...' scenario, where three humans come together in search of 'justice' for missing humans, in a timeline where Clover enlists two of their friends to descend into the underground and exact revenge on fallen and missing humans. That's where the name "the dark Trinity" comes from.

Everything unfolds as in the original story, except Clover convinces two friends to go down into the Underground with them in search of the missing humans. Clover didn't specify until they arrived that it was for revenge, but her friends, believing it wouldn't be that extreme, agreed anyway.
Everything goes well until the Dark Ruins, where Yuki begins to waver in the face of Clover's vengeful acts and how this is affecting them. Yuki confronts them before the conflict with Dalv, but without success for the moment, she resigned herself, but already with an internal conflict, Meanwhile, Berry is affected by Clover's advances.
Arriving in Snowdin, where extremism becomes more evident, Berry begins to have doubts about this and starts to have a breakdown, and Yuki, Wanting to interfere more, but starting to be affected by L.O.V.E, she began to deteriorate. Being alone in this, Berry is consumed by pessimism and accesses this route that worsens.
In the confrontation with Martlet, Yuki joins forces with Clover, making the fight a little easier, while Berry only occasionally distracts Martlet, facilitating the attack. The news of three humans causing commotion and chaos spread quickly.
Everything remains the same, easier and simpler with the help of a (slowly unstable) team, only they cause more disasters and not only in the Undertale Yellow areas. Yuki ends up completely damaged by the level of violence, just like Clover, while Berry is more impulsive and hostile, ALMOST even with her friends.
Everything changes when they finally arrive at the Wild East, where they don't face Ceroba alone, but both Starlo and Ceroba, since due to the gravity of the circumstances they join forces. For a moment they hesitate, almost defeated, but in the end they end up defeating these enemies. It was the fight that took them the longest.
Yuki begins to lose emotional strength, mentally exhausted from it all, as the sudden violence they were causing was taking its toll on her as well as on Berry, but that only made them more violent.
From there everything went off the rails, as they had to face many more powerful monsters that came against them because their arrival was poorly received. At this point, Berry, fed up, took charge, and Yuki, agreeing, joined in.
Reaching the streamworks, freed from the few remaining monsters, the extremist adventure continued, to these points of no return.
In the conflict with Axis, Yuki is surprised at how Clover destroys Axis, but does nothing; Berry, on the other hand, seems to be reaching her limit.
Finally, with Martlet's arrival, Clover wastes no time and confronts her alongside the other two. The fight got complicated because members of the royal guard joined in without warning; this time they almost killed all three of them, but that's where Berry intervened.
Here, Yuki and Berry possessed the souls of some boss monsters before they were destroyed.
However, before going to King Asgore, Berry finally confronts them both, throwing the whole truth in their faces, with absolute rage and lack of control, restraining herself from attacking them in their moment of pain And this time, Yuki is perplexed.
Clover raised the revolver against Berry, causing her to tremble, but she did not hesitate and held the cutter, but in the end they lowered the revolver after some useless tremors.
They had a reluctant conversation on the way to Asgore, eventually resulting in the typical outcome: Clover obtaining his soul and leaving the scene.
Upon reaching the surface, the three of them found their bonds nearly severed during their close separation. Now, they formed a somewhat unstable group.
