Artists Needed - Grishaverse Tarot Deck

 I'm Chelsey, a tarot reader with a master's in Children's Literature/Writing for Children, and a huge YA fan. I'm starting The Reader's Tarot a project to unite artists and readers of all kinds to create tarot decks based on beloved books.  

Since it inspred the project for me, i'd like the Grishaverse to be one of our first projects. - but I'm not an artist! If you can help bring Alina, The Darking, Mal, Zoya, Nikolai, Kaz, Inej, Wylan, Jesper - and the rest of the denzens of the world of the Grishas to the cards, please join us! Knowledge of tarot s helpful but not required!

Not an artist? If you're familiar with the tarot, we need you! Readers are needed to help find the best correspondances and design cards that are true to both the books and the tarot.

He looks manageable like this, almost a different person with how the moonlight washes over his pale skin. You shouldn’t be watching him or let kindle the emotions currently simmering within - especially with what you’ve done. Yet, you couldn’t look away; not when he’s this close to you. 

It’s best to leave and you do. But when you attempt to sit up, his hand reaches forward and grabs your wrist. 

“Volchitsa, little wolf.” Kirigan’s voice was calm, but there’s a heaviness to it as his eyes open. “What else did you come here for?” 

Only silence comes out of your parted lips. Tension beckons closer while you try to look for your response. You feel cold sweat bead across your skin. He’s close, too close for you to breathe easy. 

His thumb is already tracing warmth into your skin. A silent encouragement, you think. 

“Not that secrets matter anyway,” Kirigan said, sighing. “But know that you are special and that I do want you here.” He presses a kiss onto the side of your wrist before loosening his grip. “Sleep here with me, please.” 

Wordlessly you nod and in the next moment you move closer. He’s still holding your wrist as you shift and press your forehead to his chest and then, finally, holding your hand before you whisper good night to him. 

But when he presses a kiss on top of your head, you couldn’t help but feel that disgusting urge to press deeper into his body. 

And when you finally fold your body against his and feel his warmth embrace you, him calling out your name in a drowsy lull, you wonder if what you did will ever weigh more than your guilt.
