What is a "happy ending" but the promise of better stories to come?
PERFECT WORLD
Things end. They always do.
That’s life.
Shows end, and I know that.
But in this perfect world I built up, endings would go a little differently.
In a perfect world, there would be no fear of letting gay couples become canon.
In a perfect world, networks would let representation friendly shows would go for fifteen seasons and not three.
In a perfect world, there would be a perfect happy ending, with everything resolved.
In a perfect world, we wouldn’t have to fight to keep our shows, or put LGBT or POC characters in the spotlight of television.
In a perfect world, there is acceptance.
Because acceptance, and kindness is something this world lacks excessive amounts of.
My ideal, perfect world…
Stiles and Derek became a couple. They told each other they loved them, despite the fears of loss.
The shadowhunters gang, have more adventures, and missions, all leading up to a spectacular wedding of Alec and Magnus.
And Dean and Cas… they finally admit to each other that they need, want and love each other. And they end up tangled together in the morning.
But this isn’t a perfect world.
Wars rage on, famine destroys families, people die, terrible things happen daily.
Stiles ended up with Lydia, and Derek ended up alone.
The shadowhunters story got cut short, too soon to be over.
And Dean and Cas will continue to be ‘platonic friends’ even though they clearly aren’t just friends.
This is life. Endings, tragedy, and loss.
And fear.
Fear of the unknown.
The value of things is not the time they last, but the intensity with which they occur. That is why there are unforgettable moments and unique people.

Thank you Doctor...you have always been there when I needed you!
Fuimus Troes, fuit Ilium et ingens gloria Teucrorum."/ "We have been Trojans, there has been a Troy, and there has been the glory of Troy.
The Aeneid, Book II
I’ve been burned one too many times by that same fire you ride, high, mighty, and once too proud to cross the bridge. You lit it thinking i’d be the same fool i was before; putting out your awful flames, but bitch, burn that bridge to the ground.
And then go to hell with it. If you must :)
