The belyi tsar is a platonic yandere for his daughter and never wanted her to grow up. He kept her locked in his palace to keep her safe, she doesn’t fall in love with the third descender. The third descenders falls for her instead. He tries to get her to agree to marry him but she refused. She does like him but doesn’t think of herself as ready for marriage. She does end up pregnant and keeps it a secret from her father. Her father finds out and attacks and banished the third descenders after his daughter begged for mercy. The third descender is very injured and is in a coma for years but the Tsarista though he was dead. Her father let her keep the pregnancy but constantly monitors her and does let her out of his sight. The tsar is not happy that his daughter is pregnant because of that man but is okay since grandchildren. The Tsarista is pregnant for many years as since the father is an unknown being it affects the pregnancy. As she feels the birth approach she runs away as she overheard her father instructing the doctor to save her first in case of something going wrong and she can’t stand that.

She finally escaped and hides out in khaeriahn a year before the catalyst starts. She is very obviously pregnant but explains she is running from her father when asked about it. Pierro meets her and they start to fall in love and is there when the Tsarista gives birth to her twins focalors and furina. Both babies have white hair like their mother and the light blue eye of her but the dark blue is from their father. Pierro immediately is taking on a fatherly role for the little babies. They are happy until four months after the twins are born, the catalyst is unleashed. When that happens the heavenly principals basically grab her twins as the Tsarista tries to fight back. Pierro is still leaving the castle and is trying to get to the Tsarista and the twins. The Tsarista has a breakdown when she can no longer sense her kids and assumes they are dead. She never stops crying. The belyi tsar finds her and takes her back to snezheyha. She is locked in her room to not hurt herself. The belyi tsar is very against celestia after he gets to hear the truth from the weeping tsarista. She is never the same again. She is constantly rocking her daughter’s blankets that she made for them in her arms and is constantly crying and wailing. The tsar plucks Capitano and pierro from khaeriahn and they stay after hearing what happened. Pierro is forced to watch as the women he loves mentally decline without her babies. When the third descender is also taken to snezheyha and finds out what happened, he is also not happy. Him and pierro hate each other but both agree that the Tsarista is more important. They both take on the role of husband to the goddess. They are yandere for her. She doesn’t care. The belyi tsar sucks it up as they watch his daughter. The tsar is now against celestia as they are responsible for his daughter’s decline.

With the twins, after they were taken by the HP they were given to egeria. She hates babies and basically abandoned them to make them rule Fontaine when they are very young. They don’t age like normal humans. They have the minds of around 12 year olds. The Oceacids hate them and mistreat them. The twins suck it up together. They grow up thinking that egeria is their mother and that they are not worthy of love. When neuvillette comes he is indifferent but still cares. He is like an uncle to them but doesn’t really spend time with them. This is how it goes for hundreds of years until cannon.

When the house of hearth investigates the archons, the belyi tsar forced the two yandere husbands to investigate. They hate being away from their love so much so they are quick. Pierro can recognize the girls mix matched eyes with rain drop pupils. Before they can do anything a citizen of Fontaine tries to attack them and a wall of Cyro freezes the man solid. The girls have awakened their Cyro abilities. The tsar sense it and the Tsarista senses her babies are alive. She ends up running all the way to Fontaine with her father right behind her. She recognizes her daughters and embraces them immediately. The girl immediately accepts there mama holding them. All three are crying together. Pierro is happy to see them again. The third descender is excited to see his daughters. Belyi tsar makes all of them head home. He threatens Fontaine to cause eternal winter if they ever hurt the girls again.

Back in snezheyha, the Tsarista is improving quickly. She more worried about caring for her daughters and is very more alive than in recent years. That belyi tsar is very dotting on the little girls same with the yandere husbands. The Tsarista is now a yandere for her kids. Everyone is dotting and caring for the twins.

Thoughts on what Fontaine is feeling about this. And snezheyha and the other fatui feel.

I feel like Fontaine would have a lot of mix feelings about the whole thing? Neuvillette especially cause while you mentioned he 'cared' I don't think it was ever enough for the twins, and now that they've been taken from Fontaine's care and back to their rightful family... well, Neuvillette might need to sit and think about how he treated Furina and Focalors.

A literal pair of children.

This could also include the Oceanids' reactions, but the twins probably already told their real family how mean the Oceanids were and didn't want to see them... and needless to say, the Oceanids weren't granted access to go see the twins, and were even threatened to be frozen if they didn't stop.

With all the story and shit what's the possibility that Paimon is the third descender?? Mona can't read her, some guy in the prologue of Inazuma said Paimon smells like the stars, and the book of esoteric revelations quest reveals that Paimon has a string that extends somewhere above the sky. She implies she's "Atleast 400 years old" and is kinda small, there's only one like her, Abyss doesn't affect her (or the traveler), her entire design screams "CELESTIA". The heavenly principles (dude/dudette is definitely a D word) made the gnoses with the third descender's remains (While this implies the third passed away, I am not trusting anything that comes from the heavenly principles or their associates.) Paimon is a character from Ars Goetia, specifically one of the nine kings of hell. it's either this or I've had too much chocolate ice-cream while being sleep deprived

since the tsaritsa has something going on with ronova (shade of death) and rhinedottir (sinner associated with life + fused with shade of life), would it be too "fixated on the descender childe theory" of me to say that my theory is that she's trying to revive saarelainen/historical ajax/the 3rd descender

The thing that drives me nuts about genshin lore is that under a purely mythological standpoint, the third descender and Nibelung should be the same person. Especially considering the Harbingers being named after Carnival masks.

Nibelung is Saturn. Period. I'm 100% sure of this. Carnival is a mix of Saturnalia and Navigium Isidis.

Saturnalia is about the cyclical rebirth of the original king Saturn at the end->start of a cycle. And the Tsaritsa wants to kickstart a new cycle.

Navigium Isidis on the other hand is about putting back together the dismembered body of Osiris to revive him. Like you know, Saarelainen. Osiris is also a god of order that can be associated with Saturn.

We have a Name for the Third Descender!

(But it’s probably not their real name)

Spoilers below for Hymns of the Far North. If you haven’t read it, go read it.

So Saarelainen is carved into seven pieces by the Heavenly Principles, when he goes to challenge them in an attempt to win the hand of the daughter of Pakkaisukko (but mainly to keep his love from dooming herself by trying).

So that’s the third descender, it doesn’t get more clear than that.

And this Saarelainen is different from the Voyager, because the Hymn above calls the Voyager Seutervoinen.

So we have two love stories going on (possibly seperated by an unknown amount of time, say from the First Angel’s rebellion to the start of the archon war)

And because the Primordial one and the Shades are all given new names, it’s likely these descenders are too. And I think the third descenders love story has not come out of no where.

So some guesses:

The third descender/Saarelainen is Imunlaukr and this challenge to Celestia was an attempt to get help and stop their love from doing what she does to save the nation.

Things that work for it: Imunlaukr is called an outlander, it would explain why they thought he could do something about this, it’s about the right time what with the Angels being gone. And it would mean his presence was one of the reasons they got nailed

Things that work against it: Imunlaukr has descendants in Mondstadt as late as the Aristocracy, unless he left his lover pregnant before he got ripped to pieces that would be hard

Third descender/ Saarelainen is Ajax the Hero

In Ballads of the Fjords we learn of Ajax the hero (namesake of our Childe) who has various deeds attributed to him. Important for this theory is that he fell into a ruined Hyperborea and found a king there (who would be Pakkaisukko) and loved Snegurochka (the daughter of Ded Moroz/Old Man Frost in some real life traditions). That would line up with the king and his naïve daughter

Troubles with this: in Ballads of the Fjords the lovers are separated because of the tricks of changelings, not a deliberate choice or challenge to the Heavenly Principles. Also if Ajax was fighting a dragon, what time period is this supposed to be?

Ajax the hero is likely a variation of either the third Descender or the Voyager, but I’m leaning to 3rd Descender for one reason.

The Tsaritsa

Her being the naïve daughter would explain why this is being brought up right before Snezhnaya and why they needed to clear this up. Her drastic change in behavior post cataclysm makes sense if she realized the gnosis held her old loved body. And it would explain why she wants them back and no god’s putting up to much of a fight to resist her, as she has claim.

As for her father Pakkaisukko, there would be a few options: Belyi Tsar, a surviving king of Hyperboria, the Cryo Sovereign (he’d have motive) or Nibelung himself

So skirk said that the gnosis is made by the third descenders remains right? (But we also know that the sovereign's power (dominion over the element) can be returned via destroying the archon seat? Or maybe even by passing it on (this is just a theory))

There's a big chance the Tsaritsa is not collecting the gnosis for its power but for the remains, that by collecting all of it they can resurrect the third descendant.

I have a feeling its the abyss twin's or what is left of them. There must be reason why they are counted as someone from Teyvat. Either it's because they manipulated the leylines or because they were resurrectted already, but a botched resurrection via Natlan.

That by resurrecting the abyss twin from their original body, they'll get their full powers back and even durability, so the war against fate and Celestia might have more promising end.

This is just a theory tho.

Are we going to talk about how Genshins most aggressive species is the primordial one

This thing instantly attacks anything that’s not technically its self (made by them or made by their shades).

Sovereign dragons who long predates them? kills them

Voyager from beyond the stars? Attacks them

Second who came and third descender, powerful being who just like them come from beyond the stars? Cuts them up into little pieces

Abyssal life forms from the dark corners far beyond tevyt. Probably murders them on the daily

Khaenriah , the human civilization’s beyond the bounds of tevyt. Kills and curses them

Traveler and their sibling, aliens from an another planet. Sends shade to kill them

The people of Fontaine who were made by a completely different god? Tries to kill them all.

If they weren’t made by them or the shades (who are technically also them) this thing attacks it.

The only reason that skirk lives is because this bitch is taking a nap
