I know that's a controversial take but it's what I believe. I genuinely think Jason, if Bruce offered him the role, would make a good Batman.

-Starts off as a solo act, gains a small army
-Has vast array of gadgets, tools, and protocols to take down allies if they go rogue.
-Jason did manage to put the fear of God in Black Mask during Under The Red Hood, much like how Batman puts the fear of God into every criminal he meets.
-Does have allies to rely on even if they continue to act like a solo act
-Genuinely loves and adores the people around them but stinks at showing it, but have their moments where they do
I think if given the regins Jason would make a good Batman. (The guns are an issues however)
Jason and Bruce are fueled by the same thing, Vengeance.
Granted Bruce is fueled by more than vengeance now, he's fueled by hope.
Jason, if he were to become Batman would have to become a symbol of hope, not just fear.
The guns, again, are issue.
Bruce is too stubborn with his code and Jason refuses not to kill criminals.
Unless Jason lays off the guns for a bit or Bruce looses the code just for Jason, I don't see Jason trading in the helmet for the cowl anytime soon.

sleep disturbances can trigger migraines and ur sleep is more likely to be disturbed if more things are going on around you, so if vampires have to sleep during the day they kinda cook themselves
i’ll breakdown the weaknesses and powers later bc this post is already so long jfc but basically vampires have enhanced senses and physiology (strength, speed, stamina, energy, flexibility, etc) at the cust if needing a FUCK ton of iron— blood drinking was kind of a social thing for vampire elite (who were able to hisdw being a vampire / not have to drink blood) and as a result us kind of a bonding thing but it’s kinda like sex but not really— anyway vampires have venom or whatever that won’t kill ppl necessarily but will weaken them— in some environments it can be pleasurable like a dug but it can also be very much not pleasurable !! vampires have a lot more of a social connection with biting than they do drinking (baby vampires nip etc) and tend to bite as a form of affection— vampire venom spent effect vampire in the same way it affects other features— it’s like a possessive thing but also it’s good for the vampires to not have like an excess of blood— it also kinda fuels there codependent ahh nature and the venom fucks w/ hormones bc ur works like a drug so like when some ancient related tho fa w/ hormones effect smell it like makes a vampire smell like the vampire who but them— baby vampires get bit by adults a lot and with a lot of venom, it some areas being bit us chiding, others it’s like affectionate, in others it’s like a social thing and they influences the effects— older vampires bite younger vampires more than younger vampires bite older vampires MOST of the time, older vampire has to initiate— coven hierarchy is more of a social thing than an instinctual one— it’s crazy disrespectful to hire a member not of ur coven OR who isn’t ur love or friend— never bite a baby vampires not if ur coven— vampires have scent signatures -> ancestoral + maternal grandma + paternal grandma + mom + paternal grandpa + maternal grandma + dad + personal + coven signature and that’s combined with the signage of other ppl who’ve bit them— oh yeah vampires can thrall each other older ones are more powerful but the more u use it the better and older vampires demon and scent signature is more potent there is also a “baby” vampire scent, scents change w/ emotions etc etc humans can’t pick up on it
- anyway warren went to gotham academy w/ maps and kyle in current canon so i’ll say this is wayyyyyy in the future, i’ll probably have the ages be somewhat consistent w/ when they’re born in canon but bc of other issues i mother just make it rlly vauge ngl
- k so basically this stays somewhat consistent w/ batman beyond accept I’d say powers tech and wayne enterprises are instead collaborating on pharmaceutical drugs and mary and warren work together there— ig id say they meet in collage and have a f/w/b relationship dnd when they’re like 30 mary gets pregnant so they get married out of convenience
- mary and warren do love each other but it’s not explicitly romantic ig— they work together a lot but do try to make time for terry but he goes to like school daycare or wtv
- same as canon when terry is 8, matt is born and a little after that marry and warren get divorced but stay on good terms, provably they work a lot and just don’t really want to bother with it anymore
- due to the fact there’s a baby and they’re separated warren kinda falls through the cracks and falls in w/ a bad crowd etc etc he goes to juvie for a little bit etc
- warren gets killed off bc he stumbles onto powers scheme, this is our deviation however bc bruce is still kicking kn immortality— terry runs off and finds that warren was killed but ALSO mary bc she and warren were talking about terrys behavior (matt is @ a friends house) so they both die and terry varixally waits until he gets reunited w/ matt and then they run away into probably crime ally
- at this time tim (former joker junior) is on the case and is talking to bat / reformed harley quinn about the case (probably in better terms than the rest of the bats bc complicated mother-son relationship i digress) and he’s mentioning it and basically says “oh yeah the sons were vampires” (doctors mary and warren just thought there kid was iron deficient as hell and the advanced senses were autism and the strength was pent up energy and adhd lmfao) “but the parents weren’t, and by all record these were absolutely mary and warrens kids so that’s odd… however when i did some more digging and hacking abd i found out abt [wallers project]” and basically he asks harley if she remembers anything from suicide squad etc or if she heard anything and harley knows a little but promises to ask around (tim can recognize the base signature in warren and terrys scent and that base signature is bruce’s scent (he notes they’re similar to damian, kate, alice, bette, heretic, etc) and that’s the main motivation for him to go hacking in lexcorp, argus, etc bc he knows the likelihood someone would try to make batman 2.0 for when “he dies” is concerningly high and would not surprise him) / i might chang who it is bc literally anyone can recognize the scent signature— we’ll see
Jace Fox f.k.a. Tim Fox, is a biracial Black hero, son of Lucius Fox from an affair w/ an Asian woman (Japanese); when his youthful recklessness cost someone their life, he was sent away to the military, where he gained elite tactical & combat skill, eventually becoming a covert mercenary; when he returned to Gotham, working w/ his father led Jace to step up as a new Batman, aiding Bruce Wayne's hero family, as well as Katana, the Justice League & more!
To be a black Hero has so many layers to it that never gets talked about especially when you're not seen as able just as much as your white counterparts. Things like this shouldn't just be confined comics that come out once a year.
Also where are the groups/family of hero's that are black or even black majority. Same goes for non black POCs. Also the idea that Duke knows that if ever did even a "Fraction" of what Jason has, he wouldn't get any bit of grace that Jason has gotten. This isn't to say Bruce is racist but to say that Bruce has given Jason immense grace for his actions despite anything he may have said and done in the past. This is reflected in life too, whites in powers will be harder on the marginalized than whites when the same actions are taken. I do believe he would be harder on Duke especially with him being also being a meta.
