He just basically dresses up in different costumes to make our holidays and special moments super memorable in a good way.

Bonus points if toddler reader also has their own mini version of his outfits to match. Like a mini bunny costume for taking photos with the esster bunny, a mini pair of wings for us to sleep with when we lose a tooth, and etc. Just bunch of fluff.

Platonic Simon Riley with Toddler Reader

Simon can’t remember who talked him into this the first time, it was Christmas on the base and you wanted Santa to come early. You would cry and cry about it, wanting to take a picture with Santa like your other friends would.

Gaz and Johnny had bought a Santa suit, pushing it into Simon’s arms. Simon was not happy about it at all.

“Come on, don’t you want to make the little lass happy?” Johnny picks up that Santa hat that Simon is now holding and fits it onto Simon’s head.

“I think you’d look good with a beard.” Gaz laughs, patting his Lieutenant on the shoulder. Simon grumbles, swayed by the thought of your chubby little face lighting up when you see that Santa has come to visit you.

This is how he finds himself dressed up in a Santa costume, bouncing you on his knee as he asks you what you want for Christmas. Your dressed up in a little green elf costume. You ask him for some dinosaurs, you love dinosaurs.

He doesn’t mind the fact that Johnny is taking so many pictures, he’s completely focused on you as you babble about what kind of dinosaur is your favourite and why it’s the best dinosaur.

Now the team has a group photo framed in Prices office, Simon is in the middle of the group with you in his arms, everyone smiling.

Now for Valentine’s Day, you make everyone valentines, giving them a horrific drawing of a heart and your best attempt at their names. Simon will keep it forever.

He lets you put cute Valentine’s Day themed stickers on his hand and face, even putting one on the brim of his sunglasses. He says thank you every time you give him a sticker.

He buys you cute clothes regardless of gender, heart themed outfits. He would buy a matching set if they came in his size.

For Easter, he hides all the eggs around the base, wanting to do an egg hunt with you. He makes you an Easter basket as a surprise when you wake up with your favourite candies in them.

He gets the two of you matching bunny ear headbands, he loves the way you giggle when you put them on for him. He’ll match his shirt with yours so your wearing the same pastel Easter colours to make you smile.

He doesn’t really dress up as the tooth fairy when he goes to get your baby teeth from under your pillow, but he will leave a cute sticker and a dollar under your pillow. He nods along as you tell him about the sticker the next morning.

He hates how scratchy and tacky all the costumes are, how his teammates poke fun at him. But he doesn’t mind as much when he sees your face light up, he loves making you happy.

Traveling Struggles

Touring wasn’t just about singing and dancing, or connecting with the fans on another level, it was also about the traveling. From plane to plane, the girls had been through almost a dozen airports now just to get to different destinations.

And with a toddler, it was proven to be Manon’s greatest challenge yet.

You wore a puffy jacket, hood up over your head, light up sneakers, and pink sweatpants. Your pacifier, which was previously in your mouth, now was clipped to your shirt collar because you seem to always lose it.

Manon held you in her lap, bouncing her knee lightly to keep you awake. If you were going to sleep, it better be in the plane. She had her black suitcase nearby, huge and heavy. Then your smaller one decorated with Mickey Mouse stickers sat beside it.

Packing gave Manon a headache. You were growing up to become this diva. She had asked you which pieces to clothing you would like to wear, and each time she received a ‘no’ so she let you decide on your own.

So the inside of your suitcase looks like a circus with the amount of bright, mismatching colors you chose. The next challenge was getting you to eat a full meal before the flight. The girls suggested Denny’s since it was nearby. You made a huge mess with your smiley-face pancakes—whipped cream covering your mouth, syrup all over your hands, and the table covered in powdered sugar.

Then the car ride over the airport, you sobbed for a full twenty minutes because Sophia wasn’t sitting on the other side of you like Manon was. It shouldn’t have been a big deal, but to you, it was the end of the world if your two favorite people weren’t beside you.

And now, while Manon sipped her coffee, she allowed herself a break. Which meant the iPad in your hands, volume at full blast as you watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Sophia sat across you, eating a croissant sandwich. “Do you think she’ll sleep throughout the flight? It’s eight hours long.”

Manon bit her bottom lip. “I sure hope so. Otherwise I’m gonna be a cranky mom with a cranky toddler.”

Megan laughed from her spot on the floor, body between Daniela’s legs. “You should give her a sleepy gummy.”

“She’s too young for that.” Lara mentioned.

Yoonchae spun her anxiety ring in her hand. “She looks tired.”

Manon took a look at your face—you were highly invested in your show, but there was that look of tiredness in your eyes. And she knew that the moment your pacifier was in your mouth, you were going to knock the hell out.

Bag check was complete. Security was complete. You even received a handful of compliments on how cute you were, something Manon took pride in because, well, she made you. Finally, it was boarding time.

Sitting first class was a must, especially with you. Megan and Daniela were beside each other, Lara already taking a seat with Yoonchae, and Sophia by herself, relaxing back into her seat.

You got the window seat, of course, with your mom buckling you in. Manon put her bag down between her legs. Inside were snacks and toys for you, stuff you needed to endure this long fight. At first things went smoothly, the first hour passed without a complaint as long as your iPad was still playing.

Then the plane reached turbulence. You freaked out, crying and grabbing onto Manon’s arm tightly. The toddler strength was real. Once it was over, you were still screaming and sobbing. Manon unbuckled you, cradling you in her arms until you calmed down, then she set you back down with your pacifier.

Leaning your head against her shoulder, you passed out immediately and managed to sleep for the next six hours. Manon smiled softly, throwing a thumbs up to Sophia who snickered, and turned back to her show playing.

Maybe the flight wouldn’t be so bad. Well, at least until she needed to wake you up. Now that, was like messing with Satan.

The concert was energetic—bright lights, loud sounds, exciting crowds. The girls soaked in every moment with immense joy radiating off them, a warmth of love wrapping around. Manon was catching her breath from finishing MIA. They were preparing to do the next song on their set list, the fans’ energy was unmatched.

You, with oversized headphones tucked around your little ears, were watching from a chair behind stage in the care of Missy. She was scrolling on her iPad, making sure everything was in check. Her free hand slips from your shoulder and in that moment, your little brain said, ‘mommy’.

Tears form in your eyes as Manon dances across the stage, unaware of the chaos erupting back stage now. Your little lungs are screaming out, bawling, and the whole crew was panicking. They tried food, water, toys. Nobody but Manon or the girls were allowed to hold you so when Missy attempted, you screamed bloody murder.

She sets you down immediately, and your little legs take off. Headphones fall to the floor as you waddle, faster than anybody predicted, onto the stage. The spotlight is on you and your eyes are glued to the Ghanaian woman standing in the far corner of the stage with her chest heaving up and down out of breath.

The crowd catches the girls’ attention—pointing and screaming in confusion and awe when you run on. Daniela spots you first, eyes widening as she begins to chase you.

“We got a runner!” She yells into her mic, making grabby hands and calling for you. “Y/N! Baby, come here!”

Manon hears your name and turns around to watch the scene unfold. You’re avoiding the girls, all five of them, like obstacles in Donkey Kong with only one objective in mind: get to mommy.

Megan ran into Yoonchae, bumping heads together in the process of trying to dive for you. Lara gave up and was a giggling mess on stage. Daniela was full blown panicking and Sophia stood there like a disappointed parent.

Finally, you made it to Manon and jumped into her arms. She holds you immediately, wrapping arms around your little body and cradling you against her chest.

“Mommy!” You scream into happiness, the mic carrying it through the stadium. The crowd collectively coos at the sight.

Manon simply smiles, kissing your rosy cheeks and brushing your curly hair back. “Sweetheart, mommy’s working, remember?”

“Mhm.” You hummed, hand in your mouth now as you look around with big, curious eyes.

Sophia walked over, tickling you slightly. “Let’s get her on stage and put this headphones back on.” She turns to the fans. “What do y’all think?”

Every chant was positive and encouraging. Megan runs back stage, returning with headphones and placing them over your head. You’re sat on a stool in the center of the stage now and ‘My Way’ begins to play—coincidentally your favorite song.

Manon sings to you like you’re her whole world, because you are, and the fans had a front row view of this rare sight.

"Just look at her! Isn't she so cute! How could you kill that face? " Satoru held you up by under your arms. Your cheek smooshed into his as he held you in front of his teacher, Masamichi Yaga. Said man stood in front of the two teenage boys, and the child curse.

You didn't seen to mind the white haired boy holding you, in fact, you seemed more interested in the blank faced boy standing next to him, he had a certain aura to him, one like yours, sad.

Yaga sighed, running a hand over his face. "Satoru, she's still a curse. Child or not. She's dangerous." Satoru, being the manchild he was, pouted his lips, hugging your smaller body to his. "I'll look after her. Scouts promise." Satoru jokingly raise two fingers, hiking you up onto his waist, your little sandle cover feet hanging over his hips. Yaga sighed, knowing the teen wasn't gonna take no for an answer. "Fine.."

You turned out to be an easy 'child'. Satoru could just stick his phone or an iPad in your hands, and it would entertain you for hours. Suguru, being the more responsible of the two, was the one to often take you outside to the park or out for ice cream.

But the curse that lived in your body was.. unique. Most, if not all, jujutsu sorcerers knew of Sukuna, but only a handful knew of kelim. Kelim was a power curse who was living hundreds of years before Sukuna. She, like Sukuna, caused damage and killed many, but unlike Sukuna, Kelim refused to kill children.

Kelim had fallen sick and sealed herself away hundreds of years ago deep in a cave in Japan, but a few years ago, a few scientists had unknowingly opened the cave and let her out. Her spirit had found little baby you. You who had been abandoned at the doors of an orphanage after your teen mother didn't want you anymore.

For the next few years, Kelim has lived in your body. She protected you and had later used your body to kill. She had killed the abusive workers in the orphanage.

Kelim wasn't out right evil, sure it was weird to hear a fully grown woman's voice come from a toddler sometimes, but the curse that inhabitants in you didn't try to kill Satoru or Suguru.

You were a curse born from hatred and sadness. You were a child curse, you had formed in an orphanage known for abusing children, the orphanage had long since been abandoned, but sometimes people would report hearing a crying child (fnaf meantioned) coming from the building.

Satoru and Suguru had been the ones sent on the mission. All they knew? It was a curse born of sadness. When the two teenage boys arrived, they first thing they noticed was the energy. It was pure sadness. It was unlike they had ever felt before.

"Woah. I feel like crying. Just me?" Satoru asked, looking down the long hallway. Suguru hummed, his hands shoved in the pockets of his pants. All of a sudden, a wail came from down the hall behind them, causing the two boys to turn around. Sitting on the floor was a crying child.

You had your knees pulled up to your chest, your arms around them as you wailed. "Hey there!" Your cries stopped as you looked up. A boy with white and glasses over his eyes was standing over you. He had the brightest aura you had ever seen. Most people had dull auras.

Satoru tilted his head. You looked like a normal child. You didn't seem deformed like most curse spirits were. Satoru crouched down to your sitting form, his lanky arms dangling over his knees. "Man, you sure are cute for a curse." Satoru reached out and pinched your cheek.

Behind him, suguru snorted. "Don't get attached, Satoru. We have a job, remember." Satoru, being the man child he was, pouted. Pulling his hand back from the curse child. "Just look at it, suguru! Isn't it so cute, I just want to gobble it up." All of a sudden, you slapped your hand onto the floor. "I'm not an it! I'm a girl!"

Both teens seemed surprised at your outburst. They didn't know you could talk, let alone clearly. But it wasn't really that. It was the large wave of cursed energy that came from you. It was suguru who caught it first. A black aura hanging from your back.

Satoru saw it next, but he saw it clearly. You used to be a normal human child, but a cursed spirit had clung onto your body. Like a parasite, it clung to you and made you its host. At first, you seemed like the cursed spirit, but those who looked closer would see the truth.

Thinking, thinking, thinking...

It was supposed to be a normal meeting. Chat a little about upcoming missions and all, until you decide you didn't want to hang with Damian or Alfred no. No, you wanted Dada.

You had thrown the biggest tantrum, kicking and screaming until Bruce had picked you up and made his way down to the cave with you in hand. Which brings us to now.

You had been a very squirmy baby, so it wasn't a surprise that you were a very active toddler. You couldn't sit still for even a minute, which meant a few into the meeting, you was stood on your father's lap as he held your little waist. You were now facing him, running your hands all over your father's deadpan face, squashing his cheeks together.

Bruce, on the other hand, was trying to focus, but it was kinda hard when your two year old was basically squeezing the life out of your face. One of Bruce's hands left go of your waist to reach up and grab your hands instead, pulling them away from his face. He wrestled with you for a moment before sitting you back down on his lap.

"Stop moving, or yiu can go back to Dami." You whined, kicking your legs back and forth, you heels hitting Bruce's knees, which didn't do much. Bruce had one arm wrapped around you, keeping your arms to your side. All of a sudden, you swung your head back, the back of your head making contact with Bruce's nose.

A 'pfft' came from the monitor in front of Bruce, causing the man who had one had over his nose, and the other swung over his toddler to look up. Hal was leaning off to the side of his camera, obviously laughing by the way his shoulders were shaking up and down.

Bruce sighed, lifting the arm around you up to let you free. With your newfound freedom, you immediately jumped down off your father's lap and ran further into the cave. Bruce looked at the ceiling, already feeling the headache forming.

Man he needed to stop adopting kids.

The present store has been a lot busier than usual lately. It's great for business but it did make it much harder for him to supervise y/n Balancing watching an energetic toddler while constantly wrapping presents, restocking inventory, getting more bows and wrapping paper while balancing all the other things his job had him do.  

If y/n were still a baby Joe could at least put them in a baby carrier and go on with his shift. But that wasn't an option for a few years. 

So Joe had no choice but to have Josh watch over them until the store isn't as busy. Thankfully Josh loves baby sitting them.

In their room y/n was packing their backpack 

“I need you” y/n said, grabbing their favorite plushie and dropping it beside the bag.

“And these” they said, grabbing colouring books and crayons, dropping them off by the bag.

“Hmm what else” they said, waddling around their room.

y/n opened their toy box and started to dig through it, tossing toys around. 

“Nuh uh” they said, closing the lid of the toy box.

They then waddled over to their bed

“Another plushie?” they questioned

Just then Joe came in

“Are you almost ready yet?” he asked stepping inside the room

“I think so” y/n answered, twiring towards him. Joe scooped up their things and put them in their backpack. 

“You dont need to bring much josh already has fun things to do over there” Joe said “do you want to pick out one more thing before we leave?” he asked

“Umm…dont know” y/n replied crossing their arms and looking down at their feet. “cant find another thing”

“Tea set for a tea party?” Joe asked pointing to their mini table set

“No” y/n answered 

“What about a puzzle?” Joe asked pulling a box off the shelf

“No” y/n answered 

Joe then let out a huff and started to think of some more ideas

“Are you sure you want to get one more thing?” he asked

“Kinda” y/n replied 

“Why not a book you like?” Joe suggested shuffling through the picture book’s

“Yea” they answered. Joe picked up three books off the bookshelf and placed them into the backpack. 

“Come on we should head out now” he said with his arm out towards his toddler. Joe follows behind them and the two head out of y/n’s room.

By the closet Joe threw on his coat while passing y/n their coat. 

“Let me help you with that” Joe said while zipping their coat 

“Thanks” y/n replied as the two kicked on their boots. Joe scooped them up and headed over to josh’s.

As the two pulled up to the bright yellow house josh warmly greeted the two.

“Hey y/n hey joe” 

“Hi”

“Thanks for watching them, the store has been super busy” Joe said as he dropped y/n from his arms and passed them their backpack.

“I get it, I'm more than happy to watch them” Josh said, he turned towards y/n 

“We are gonna have so much fun today” he said

“Yay!” 

“I gotta go bye y/n” Joe said hugging them “ill be back later around 6:30 tonight thanks again for babysitting” he told Josh.

As their dad left josh took their coat

“So what do you wanna do now?” he asked

“Uhh…colour” they answered, pulling out their colouring books and crayons.

“That sounds fun,” he said. The two headed over to the Bed Room carpet to sit.

In the Bed Room Josh got out his own crayons and colouring book while y/n colour with their stuff. 

Josh’s page was a safari themed page with a giraffe with trees and bushes. He used different shades of oranges, greens, and browns. While y/n’s page was themed around y/f/a sleeping in its home and they messily scribbled the page with all of their favourite colours. 

“Those are some nice colour’s y/n” said Josh

“Thanks” y/n replied “i like your giraffe” 

For their next pages Josh had a rainbow in the clouds with some birds while y/n had a farm themed page with fruit trees, a barn and some animals running around.

“I dont have a red for the barn” y/n said 

“Hmm… oh you can use mine” Josh said, passing them his red crayon. “I just finished my rainbow”

“Thanks” y/n said “my barn’s done”

Their third page y/n had some dogs playing in a field while Josh’s was a school of fish. 

The consistent arm waving and wrist shacking and hand circling had started to wear down on y/n, as they finished colouring the dogs fur.

 As they finished the page their stomach started to growl and rumble. 

“Im hungry” y/n whined 

“Hmm looks likes it lunch time lets clean up and see what mr salt and mrs pepper can make” josh said 

The two tidied up stacking the books and sliding the dull pointed crayons back into their boxes. 

“Put these into your bag” Josh said, passing their book stack and crayons off to y/n. Then he took his things over to the purple shelf and walked to the kitchen.

“Ok” they said. y/n slid the colouring books and crayons into the backpack and pulled out their plushie giving it a hug “we can play later” they told it.

“Oh lunch!” They remembered and tossed their favourite  plushie to the side and headed over to the kitchen. 

There Mr salt and Mrs pepper were baking blueberry muffins on the side as the two walked in.

“Is it lunch time already?” mr salt said

“Yep” Josh said “can you make y/n something?”

“Sure! what would you like for lunch y/n?” Mrs Pepper asked 

“Uhh… a sandwitch…and y/f/s” y/n replied

“Sure thing it will be ready in a bit” Mrs Pepper

y/n sat down at the table as Josh went to help the seasoning shakers get lunch together.

While awaiting lunch their eyes became just a tiny bit heavy as they rested their head on their head, while they let out a little yawn.

“Lunch is served!” Josh announced sliding y/n their plate and drink

“Thanks” they said as Josh sat down beside them. The two proceeded to dig in.

As they finished eating y/n let out a little yawn as their eyes started to feel heavier. “Are you ready for a nap now?” Josh laughed as he cleared the table taking their dishes to the sink.

“Nooo im not-” they let out another yawn and lays their head on the table “-tired”

Josh scoops up the exhausted toddler “come on lets get that nap in” he said softly patting y/n’s head and walking over to the bedroom.

Josh laid them down on the bed gently tucking them in underneath the soft warm covers.

“Would you like your plushie and a story?” he asked

“Yea” y/n replied

Josh walked over to their backpack and picked through the three books Joe picked out a while ago. 

“Hmm…this one” He said as he put the other books in the bag, trading them for the plushie.

Josh sat down on the bed and passed the soft toy to y/n who cuddled with it and held it closely.

“Once upon a time…” Josh whispered softly reading the story book. As the story went on and on y/n started to become more exhausted  as their eyelids started to shut and their body relaxed.

By the time Josh said “the end” they were out. He looked down to see the sleeping toddler “enjoy your nap” he whispered then tip toed to put away the book, turned off the lights and headed to the living room.

When they woke up a few short hours later with a stretch, rubbed their eyes and sat up. y/n leaped off the bed with their plushie in their arms and walked out of the dark bedroom. 

y/n toddled through the living room finding themselves at the thinking chair where Josh was.

“Oh I was just about to check on you, did you have a good nap?” he said

“Yea”

“Well it's time for me to pick up blue from school so lets go for a walk to go get her” Josh said

“Ok”

The two put on their winter coats, kicked on their winter boots and put on their hats. Josh helps y/n with their mittens and zipping up their coat.

“Are you and f/p/n ready to go?” josh asked 

“Yep” y/n answered 

“Then lets go” he said as he grabbed their hand and went out the purple front door.

The two stepped out into the snowy afternoon, it had just stopped snowing with a fresh blanket of snow on the ground. The two took a stroll down the street to Blue’s School. They walked past the house, Magentas house, the Doctors, the post office and then her school.

As the two arrived at Blue’s School. The two walk up to the red schoolhouse and walk inside

In the School blue magenta and periwinkle were grabbing each of their things from their cubbies.

“Bow bow!” she said, greeting Josh and y/n

“Hi blue” y/n said

“Are you guys ready to go?” josh asked the colourful critters

“Bow bow” she said 

“Yea” said Perriwinkle with his lunch box in his hand

“Row row” said Magenta

“Alright lets go” Josh Said

The group walked out of the school and down the street.

Magenta was the first to get home and she barked goodbye. Next Blue, Josh an y/n got back home 

“see you later periwinkle” Josh said

“Bow bow” barked blue

Then the three went inside. You kicked off your boots and Josh took your coat while blue put away her things.

“You guys want a snack?” He asked 

“Yea” y/n replied 

“Bow bow” blue said

The three headed over to the kitchen where they then picked out what they wanted. Blue had Gram crackers and milk while y/n chose y/f/s again and some juice.

After snack time both blue and y/n were itching to play and thinking of what to do but the three landed on building a city with blocks.

Josh cut up and laid out black paper for the road and glued white stripes for cross walks and lane lines. y/n built the buildings with blocks and blue got out some street signs and little toy animals and people. y/n stacked blocks varying in difference heights and widths. Blue got out all sorts of cars and other toys. By the time they were finished they started playing taxi, bringing different toys to other areas of the tiny city. 

“This little guy needs to get to the store” Josh said holding a figure 

“Bow bow” blue barked sliding a car to y/n

“Vroom vroom” y/n said putting the toy into the car and rolling it to the store on the opposite side of the map.

“He there” they said, dropping it on the block’s.

The three continued to play as the time flew by as they slid and shifted tine toys and cars around the tiny city next thing they knew it was almost 6 in the evening.

Joe had just texted saying he’d pick up y/n soon. 

“Lets clean up Joe will be here soon” Josh announced 

“Awwh” y/n whined “but this was fun”

“Bow bow” Blue agreed

“I know but we can play this next time you come over ok?” Josh told them

“Ok..” y/n said, grabbing the blocks to put in the box as blue took away the animals and street lights and signs. They walked back and forth crouching up and down, tiring themselves out. Then Josh took the paper roads and stuffed them on a shelf.

“Alrighty your dad should be here soon till then what do you want to do to wait for him?” Josh asked y/n

“Read my books” they replied 

“Story time it is ill go get your bag” Josh said heading to the bedroom.

y/n sat up against the wall with their plushie in their arms. When Josh came back he sat on the ground and lifted y/n into his lap while Blue laid beside them for a little quiet time. They went on to read the three picture books Joe picked out. Josh read out loud each book and let the two gaze at each picture. 

“There once was…”

“...The end”

“In the land of…”

“...They all shared”

“Once upon a time…”

“...the end-” right as he finished the third book there was a knock at door

“I think that might be your dad” Josh said, putting the book down and picking up y/n to answer it. When he opened it there was Joe.

“Hey Josh hey y/n how was it?” Joe said stepping in the house

“Bow ba bow bow!” Blue barked 

“And hello to you too blue” he said crouching to her level as they greeted each other. While Josh put down y/n

“Did you three have a good time?” Joe asked 

“Yea!” y/n said ecstatically.

“Good to hear” Joe said

“Im more than happy to watch them me and blue love having them over right blue” Josh said grabbing y/ns coat

“Bow bow!” blue agreed 

y/n went to grab their bag and things while the three chatted away. 

“...well we gotta get going” Joe said, taking y/n’s bag and putting on their coat. 

“Bye” y/n said waving

“Talk to you later” Joe said

They said their goodbyes as Joe scooped up y/n and went home
