Y'all have got to stop accusing trans people of fetishizing other trans people just bc they only date trans people, bc they prefer trans people, or bc they have trans headcanons based on themselves. It's starting to get rlly annoying and the fact you guys would rather get mad at a trans men for saying "trans men are really hot" Instead of, actual cis people saying stuff way worse, is... Very concerning and I'm actually tired of cis people calling me a trans fetishist and I'm tired of trans men calling me a trender and then opening me up to attacks from TERFs, TEHMs and other transphobes because god knows my own community won't defend me.
It's especially difficult because I very much do not pass nor do I really try because I just CAN'T with my resources due to being poor & having a transphobic family so when I post images of myself people immediately see me as a trender or something which is so fucking harmful.
I can't even be body positive without someone thinking I'm a trender and i fucking tired of it. You guys have GOT to stop acting like every non passing or every feminine trans guy is a trender just because they don't pass or don't try, just because their profile doesn't state they're "dysphoric", just because they use "weird" Pronouns or just because they're a tucute.
Hell I've seen Trumeds call other trumeds a trender before and I hate it. This community is so fucking hostile to the point I don't really believe anyone is a trender until they directly admit it.
This isn't even at the trumed community, I've had other tucutes call me a trender before. I've face hostility from ALL parts of the community.
Cis people can reblog but don't clown in the comments

Hey everyone! ♡
So it occurs to me that a lot of people don't quite know what gender dysphoria is.
So I wanted to make an easy explanation post on what is and what isn't dysphoria!
>So What Is It?
Gender Dysphoria involves a conflict between someone's assigned gender at birth (their sex) and the gender they are in their mind.
This can make people look in the mirror and feel that their body is wrong, it does cause discomfort and often times distress. They also feel uncomfortable with pronouns associated with their agab, along with their birth name most of the time.
If you're uncomfortable with the pronouns associated with your agab, that's gender dysphoria babey!
>Well Alright But What Do You Do About It?
Some people may just want to socially transition, meaning they use the pronouns they prefer, maybe pick up a new name, and dress in a way that makes them feel more comfortable.
But often times in order to feel comfortable, people will start taking hormones to medically transition. These change your body fat distribution and your voice, what your skin feels like and where your body hair grows. This makes it easier to pass as the sex you see yourself as!
A lot of people also get surgeries to medically transition, but not everyone takes this route because of medical reasons, societal reasons, and just the fact that not all sex reassignment surgeries are developed enough.
>Gender Euphoria?
Another part of gender dysphoria is the feeling of gender euphoria!
Gender euphoria is a feeling of happiness or relief when you're reaffirmed as your gender.
It's a lack of gender dysphoria, it feels amazing because it feels right.
You may look in the mirror after just putting on your binder and feel so happy because you feel like that's how you were always supposed to look.
Or when somebody calls you by the correct pronouns the first time! It feels great to be seen as the correct gender.
>What If It's Something Else?
Unfortunately because of a lot of language used in trans spaces, some young people confuse body dysmorphia for gender dysphoria.
The best way to find out what your needs are is to go to a therapist! They've studied all sorts of medical things and if it is something other than gender dysphoria they can help treat you a different way.
And if it is gender dysphoria, they're the ones who can start helping you medically transition if you're wanting to go that route.
>But I Don't Want Being Trans To Be Considered An Illness
It's a neurological condition! It's not something you can change.
It's important to note that just because gender dysphoria is a medical condition, doesn't mean anything's wrong with you if you have it!
It just means your brain is different than other people's.
Hope this helped anyone who needed to hear this today!

Hey everyone!
So I'm kinda new to running a more active type blog with original stuff, I mean, before I mostly just reblogged stuff that I liked on my main account and a while ago I had a cheesy ask blog for a fandom I was really deep into (and still am tbh) but I wanted to write an introduction so people know who I am, what I believe, and who my intended audience is!
So first of all, my name is Edward and I use he/him pronouns! I'm not taking hormones yet because I recently moved and I haven't gotten a good therapist yet but I'm working on it and I definitely plan to take them in the future and even eventually have (at the very least) top surgery.
I don't pass very well but I try my best with what I've got and my family and friends are supportive.
As for my beliefs, you can probably tell by my blog title that I am transmed or a transmedicalist, which basically means I believe you need dysphoria to be trans. Some other things I believe are
Nonbinary people exist and deserve recognition (Nonbinary meaning a lack of gender)
Ace people deserve to be respected but don't necessarily deserve to be included in LGBT spaces if they're Cishet
You shouldn't get hormones and surgeries if you don't have disphoria (it could keep people from accessing those resources)
You don't have to be hateful to eachother if you have different opinions (I have friends who are Tucute that I don't necessarily agree with, we still get along quite well and I see no reason why I couldn't be friends with more people like that)
Death threats are awful no matter who they're directed to (even if we aren't friends, we can still discuss things in a friendly way, I only came to believe what I believe by talking to people and doing research after all)
Brain sex does exist (this meaning small but noticeable differences between male and female brains)
Kids deserve to discover themselves but that doesn't mean they should be allowed to have unlimited access to hormones and surgeries (but they SHOULD have access to therapy and support groups and clubs!)
People come in all shapes and sizes, we should try and understand rather than accuse (if someone looks more feminine or masculine it could be because they're not able to transition for some reason)
As for my target audience? Anyone and everyone! I welcome everyone to my blog! Even if it says transmed up there, Tucutes are welcome to follow and discuss things with me any time! Just let it be known I do get anxious and sometimes have to take breaks, but I'm here to talk about most anything! I won't only be reblogging transmed things in support, I plan to discuss why certain things are wrong on both sides!
If you see me doing something wrong please point me out on it and I'll try to set it right!
And remember, just because part of a community acts one way or has an opinion doesn't mean the whole community agrees.
