Your eyes widen as he plops himself on the plush surface of the couch— legs spread and neck bared to your hungry gaze. It's not like he's doing this for no reason. He knows exactly what you want— what you need. You are hungry. You've been holding back. It has been ages since your last meal and it's starting to get to your head.
Unamused eyes watch as you falter. Your pupils narrow into slits as your eyes glow an ominous red. "You sure?" you question, clearly using the remainder of your humanity to question his bold proposition. But he's not too keen on leaning into this part of the routine— the part when you deny yourself your own satisfaction. His eyes never shift away from you. The way your focus never strays from the column of his neck tells him all he needs to know.
With a subtle smirk of his own, he pops open a button of his shirt. His free hand takes hold of yours. The motion is languid— guiding you to rest in his lap. One hand rests on your waist, the other cups the back of your head. Gleaming eyes watch his every movement.
Excersing the last of your restraint, you gently tilt his head to bare his neck further. "I'll ask again, are you sure?" your question is a hushed whisper. Your lips brush against his quickening pulse. You earn no more than a hushed hum of agreement and push into his neck.
That's all the confirmation you need as you sink your awaiting fangs into the skin of his neck. Relief and pleasure rush in all at once. A guttural groan emits itself from his throat. His hold on your head tightens, fingers locking into the strands of your hair. He presses you deeper, coaxing you take however much you may need. You, on the other hand, are barely holding onto your sanity. Your hand clutches at the side of his neck, fingers trembling and pinning him in place as you sate your hunger.
The rush of blood, your soft, yet desperate suckles, the increasing hammering of his heart and his strained breaths fill the quiet space of the room. He lets you take your fill. You drown in him— his touch, his scent, his taste. There's a quiet mantra that rings in your head— him, him, him. It fuels your hunger. Your hold on him tightens further. And he lets you have it.
Until he can't.
Gently, as to not startle you and create an extra wound to heal, he murmurs your name, drawing you from your daze. Carefully, you extract yourself from his jugular. Your heavy breaths fan across his skin. There's a crimson tint to your lips now. It's faint, but he notices. He also notices that your eyes have softened to its usual hue— no longer that ominous, predatory scarlet.
He stifles a groan when you press a tender kiss to the puncture wound. A hushed apology is whispered into his skin, as if it would make the pain all go away. And for him, it does. The intimacy of the moment has him momentarily forgetting all about the mark you'd left on his skin. If anything, his concerns lay elsewhere. The hand that had laid dormant in your hair moves to your temple, flicking at you.
"Next time, don't go starving yourself. It causes more problems."

Uhh, something something Nikolai spotting you at a diner in Kastovia. Tourist, he figures as he sees the way you're dressed, the way you squint at the menu, at how you respond carefully in Russian, like the words are unfamiliar in your mouth.
Perfect.
He makes his way over, intrigued by you, that niggling feeling in his brain growing, sprouting roots and seeping in. Obsession. Nikolai won't be leaving you until he gets you in his bed, most like.
He sits across from you, your eyes snapping up.
"Hello." You say calmly, curious, but not weary at this strange man with roaming eyes.
"Hello, симпатичный." He greets. "You're new here, da? Tourist?"
Your lips twitch. "Something like that. It's... been a long time since I was last here." You say, eyeing the options on your menu. A steak, rare done sounds perfect right now. You lick your teeth at the thought of it.
He hums, eyeing you with hunger you've seen in your own eyes before– though of a different variety. He chats you up while you order and eat, offering you a tour.
You accept. After all, cities change after years, and it had been some time since you last came here. But some things were still the same, much to your delight.
Nikolai is ever the gentleman... for the most part. He wants you, and he's not afraid to let you know it.
Then, finally the sun sets, and Nikolai takes you home with him. He's eager, the anticipation from all the light touches and flirting making his blood pump loudly. He walks into his home, door left open as he takes off his shoes, waiting for you to follow.
You don't.
Chuckling, he raises a brow. "What's wrong, дорогой? Getting shy?" He coos, almost condescending as he eyes you up, the moonlight creating a halo around you.
With a small smile, you say, "No. Just waiting to be invited in first."
"No need to wait. Come." He says, beckoning you closer, a hand held out to you.
Licking your fangs, you step foot into his house.
Nikolai the next morning covered in bite marks and feeling a bit (very) lightheaded wondering what the fuck he let inside last night

Her boots hit the castle floor as the thunder claps over the hills. Wooden state gripped tight in her calloused hands. She’s a hunter like all the other meals except she’s pretty cute.
You’ve heard of her and her reputation. She travels the world hunting down monsters, her record is top notch; never failing a killing.
If you are to die; why not have some fun?
You lead a trail to the garden, hiding in a tree. Curious if she’ll be the cat or the mouse in this game?
It took her two seconds to spot you, maybe it’s your aura! Maybe she’s that good? Regardless you have a stake hurling at you.
Swiftly you catch it and toss it to the ground as you float down, silk robe wrapping around you.
The soles of your feet walk softly on the ground as you get close to her.
“So you’re the human who thinks she can take me down?”
“Am I supposed to be afraid of you?” She sneers, eyeing you up and down. Her gaze not avoiding your breast.
“Don’t mix bravery with foolishness” your long claw like nails caressing her face before slashing at her!
Vi stumbles back, feeling a little flow of warmth spread from her cheek. “That all you got?”
Her snarky remark led to an hour of fighting. Her shirt is torn and her forearm is bleeding. Whilst you have a cut lip and some mere bruises.
The feeling of having the high ground is gone when she tackles you. Pressing all her weight into stabbing you.
You howl in pain as you grip her by the neck. The next move would’ve been tossing her but the way she was raggedly breathing on top of you was such a turn on. Face flushed and eyes focused in on yours. Sweat meeting blood on that chiseled jaw.
The stake was deep in your abdomen, “fuck you” you whisper.
“You wish” she gurgles as your grip tightens. Since your robe shifted during the fight, your hips buck in pain causing your bare cunt to meet her clothed one.
A soft moan escaped your mouth that you didn’t know wanted to escape. Shock causes both of you to loosen your grips and move from the other.
Swiftly you rip the stake out, body slowly but surely healing itself. Focusing on the inside components first.
The wind is howling and adding a cold pressure to your bare and slightly damp cunt. Nipples hardening under the silk.
Her eyes study your weak yet seductive form, knowing this is the perfect time to strike. Her mind blurring by the twitch in her clit.
Shaking her head, she straddles you grabbing the stake again. Slowly pushing it back into the wound. Only stopping by a soft please that left your beautiful lips.
Judgement being thrown out the window she removes the stake but doesn't get off of you. Leaning in closer moving hair from your face.
"Is this an enchantment?" Vi murmurs, her will to be victorious the weakest it has ever been.
"It's your lust, are you going to answer it?" Long nails trailing her neck, inviting her in closer.
Without warning she harshly presses her lips against yours.
The two of you roll in the grass, your in-humane strength causing moans of pain and pleasure. Vi's back met the garden floor as you pull her torn shirt, breast begging to be freed.
You can hear her heartbeat racing, her blood rushing to her clit and nails digging into the grass. Her blood smells so sweet, too sweet.
Indulgence is something you've been working on. You trust yourself enough only to take a little sip. As an old vampire lover taught you.
Teeth sink into her neck. The sweet iron flowing into your system. Healing faster than before. You suck till your satisfied, ignoring her kicking legs under you.
In a blood-filled frenzy you press your blood stained lips against hers. The force of the kiss breaking her crooked nose a little, causing blood to spill down her face.
Your system is overwhelmed. Tongue pushing her own fluids into her mouth, wanting her to taste herself the way you are.
The crimson scene below you was a masterpiece as you pull apart giving her a breather.
Alas the view of art was broken when a crack of a smack landed against you. Out of breath and at a loss for words she still had enough strength to express her fury.
To be cheeky you lick her cheek wound before pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
"Having fun?" you smirk as you grab her face, "I might let you live" you more so say to yourself than to her. A whimper left her lips prolonging the kiss.
Her hand finds yours, slowing trailing up your arm before gripping your shoulder and pushing you down.
"Anyone ever tell you that you're a bitch?" she groans as she trails kisses down your body. Fingers harshly invading you before you can respond. There was no prep outside of a glob of spit to your cunt before three thick fingers pushed themselves in.
The entrance was fast but her lace is slow. Curved fingers dragging inside of your pleading pussy.
Her bare chest pressed against yours, “a human ever fuck you?” She asks with a cocky grin, that only grew when you shook your head no.
Vi’s free hand holds your face, wanting to see every twitch in your face as she brings you to a brink of pleasure.
“Should I let you cum?” Her blood smeared lips ghost over your neck as she licks wet strips. Spots of blood mixing in the saliva.
Her tongue finds your bite mark. On the right side of your neck. It’s admitting a pheromone she can’t describe outside of heavenly. Slowly she bites into it, causing your clawed hands to scratch at her back.
Your orgasm crashes over you as her teeth sink into you, hard enough to make you bleed. It’s almost poetic.
She pulls away spitting the blood in her mouth into the grass.
“We’re even now.” She rises, looking like a blood soaked angel. Rain cascading down on her form.
“Need a place for the night?” You whisper, sprawled in the grass. Rain shaping your body and staining whatever piece of robe is on you. The water and blood trailing down your body.
“I do.” She says under breath, more mesmerized with you than focusing on reality. A murmur that she’ll say again and again.
She’s never leaving your side.

You met Dan Heng back when he first traveled with the Mourning Actors, the two of you repressing your feelings because of your situations. But as you come back, you slowly realize you can’t keep it hidden for long.
Warnings: suggestive
Part one - part three
Being aboard the Astral Express was very different from traveling with the Mourning Actors, that much was for sure
For one, the crew truly cared about your presence. They constantly played games, hung out with each other, talked about the most mundane topics just because they could, and more
They truly felt like a connected family. If you were being honest, you felt very out of place.
Dan Heng was kind enough to say by your side until you got adjusted to everything. He was the one that knew you best, after all. And he knows how fast your social battery drains
It wasn’t because you were a vampire. It’s just… talking to people for hours on end was not your forte
Though you did freak the express crew out when Mr. Yang was talking about some history on a planet called earth and the Trailblazer would not shut up. They kept trying to talk to you and ask about your abilities and if the myths were true
Dan Heng could see you slowly getting fed up question by question
“And then when humans fought,” Mr. Yang talked endlessly, with the Trailblazer saying at the same time, “Is it true that you hate garlic? Do you drink specific types of blood? Can you turn into any animal of your choosing or does it depend on if you have to actually see the animal with your own eyes—“
They screeched and fell on their butt when you suddenly turned into a cauldron of bats, flying frantically around the Parlor Car. Himeko and March startled greatly, the latter clutching to the former in a death grip
Welt stepped back in surprise, clutching his cane tightly and trying to figure out how to deal with you
Pom-Pom yelled loudly about how you were getting the car messy because they just cleaned it
Dan Heng, used to things like this, simply walked in the middle of the freaked out bats, holding out his arm and waiting patiently for the colony to die down
Soon, many of them dispersed until only one flew around, chirping and squeaking before landing on his arm
You clicked, rubbing your head with your wing and wrapping them tightly around your fuzzy body, burying your head so you don’t have to look at the group any longer
The express’ guard gazed at the rest of the crew with a small grimace, “They get overstimulated easily.” Like the words were enough to explain
And they were, to your shock. Everyone seemed to understand and respected your boundaries afterward
You were eternally thankful to Dan Heng and even more to the crew for giving you space when you needed it, and keeping the Trailblazer under control so your bar dilemma wouldn’t happen again
But you did enjoy being a bat all so you could hang out in the archives with Dan Heng. The whirring of the electronics and the occasional flipping of pages were very soothing on your ears
You’d always hang upside down beneath his desk, chirping or sleeping there. He’d check up on you to make sure you were comfortable, even giving you belly rubs when he thought you were fast asleep
Other times you’d sleep in his lap, and he would stroke behind your ears to calm you. He was a very relaxing person, and that helped you immensely with getting adjusted to life on the express
Don’t worry! Even though it took you a while, you did become close with the rest of the crew. Close enough that it finally felt like you belong, even if it took a few planets to do so
They’d always be worried about you when you hadn’t had blood for a while. Welt and Trailblazer (surprisingly) would store extra blood bags for you in case a planet’s hospital wouldn’t have any
Himeko provided a safe space where no light from stars or suns shone bright enough to burn you. The trio (March, Dan Heng, and Trailblazer) actually loved hanging out with you in that room. You made it very homey and comfortable and it wasn’t as dark as they’d assumed. It was now the designated hang out spot. Congratulations
Pom-Pom would let you clean too! You were fast enough and a clean freak like them, so you were the only other person to help clean the cars. It was fun to hang out with them and listen to their stories too
Sometimes the trio would ask about your features out of curiosity. The Trailblazer learned to tone down their questions too. They asked about your fangs, how many animals you can turn into, how strong you were, all the works
While everyone was welcoming and nice, there were always bound to be some complications with your state
Like when the express arrived at a planet because they were low on supplies, you didn’t want to burden them further by asking for blood bags. Even if you ran out weeks ago and is barely surviving
Dan Heng had noticed your paler-than-usual state, and the fact that you were swaying on your feet
He took you aside into the archives, his hand holding your wrist before letting go to hold your neck and feel your weak pulse
“Did you eat?” He asked with concern, his eyes narrowed in that worried way, even as his expression stayed cool and controlled
You refused to meet his eyes, going as far as to purse your lips before shaking your head. “I didn’t want to bother you all.” You told him
He scoffed, “Bother us? You need to eat, you’re not bothering us just because you have a different diet.” He took off his coat, setting it aside and pulled down his turtleneck enough to show his collarbone
Your mouth went dry for entirely different reasons
“Here,” he braced himself against the desk behind him, his hand moving from your neck to the back of your head to pull you closer. You had to stop yourself from shivering when his fingers brushed against the hairs at the nape of your neck. “I can sustain you until we can get the supplies you need.”
You desperately tried to protest, even if it was a little weak, “No— I couldn’t, not from you…”
Dan Heng was insistent. He had that gleam in his face that told you he wasn’t going to take no for an answer. “Eat. Now. I won’t tell you again.”
Well how could you decline? He looked like he was halfway to pulling you closer and force feeding you and you wouldn’t mind at all
You moved closer, gazing at him one last time before sinking your fangs into the crook of his neck. You wanted to avoid major arteries, and you didn’t want to make the marks visible on his skin
But you also could not stop your cheeks from heating up when he took a shaking gasp, letting it out with a: “Mm…” and fluttering lashes
That nearly sent you into a frenzy.
Yeah, remember when I said you both had feelings you didn’t act on?
It was coming right back. All of that built up tension overflowing like water in a glass
You forced yourself not to do anything, only focusing on his blood flowing down your throat. It was delicious, if you were to be honest. Something similar to your favorite sensation, be it sweet or spicy, and feeling it coat your tongue
Goodness, it was difficult to break from him.
Maybe he was feeling the same thing too because his hands moved higher into your hair, giving it a gentle tug, “Slow down.” He said softly, “I’m not going anywhere.”
You nearly choked. Instead, your own hands moved down to his waist
Aeons, was he snatched? Well, you mean you noticed it in the past that he was more on the lean side, but you didn’t realize it was like this
This man was going to give you a heart attack. You don’t even know if vampires can get that, but he was sure as hell testing it!
His breaths became heavier, brushing against your pointed ear. You had to ignore him arching his back. That was a subconscious thing, he didn’t mean to, anyone would react to them getting their blood sucked by a vampire
His hand shook in your hair, the other rising to rest on your shoulder as he tilted his neck back against the shelf. His eyes were closed, his chest rising and falling faster than normal
It was probably because he was getting dizzy. Yes, that’s all it was, he was dizzy
“Greedy…” you heard him mumble, finally pulling at your hair to get you off him
You were positively heaving from the taste of his blood, no doubt your eyes a pure black, shiny and bright and probably made you look high
You probably were anyway
His thumb caught stray drops from your lips, cleaning it off
He stared, “You’re out of it, aren’t you?”
You didn’t nod. Your face said it all.
“It’s to be expected. You haven’t eaten for days, maybe weeks knowing you.” He tilted your head back up with his finger hooked under your chin when it was slowly falling, just to make sure you were looking at him. “You’re probably feeling the endorphins right now.”
You were not listening to a word this man was saying. All you heard were sounds and the fact that his lips were moving
“You know,” Dan Heng had that dangerous half-lidded gaze, “I’ve read in the archives that a vampire’s bite is a euphemism for a certain… activity that also releases endorphins to the brain. Is this true?”
Head empty, no thoughts, but you certainly answered that question. “Yes, it is.”
Silence. And then—
“I need more information about vampires,” his hand cupped your cheek, his body leaning into your own that still gripped to his waist. “Would you mind giving me a first hand account?” And he dared to do it while putting his legs on either side of your hips
Oh. You certainly wouldn’t.
A/N: hehehhehehehe you know maybe if y’all like this I might add a third part that continues directly from this. But only if I’m confident enough cause I want it to be good. We’ll see ig
Little idea I cooked up while rewatching young Dracula after realising how very little fics there are of my favourite man!
Warnings: none just pure fluffy headcannons about our favourite badboy vamp vlad
Pairing: Vladimir Dracula x reader
(Intended for fem! But there are no pronouns or mentions of anything except hair and it’s vague so… and also I’m not your mum so imagine it how you want)
Reader is a vampire! There are references to them being undead Vladimir is 16! None of this is intended to be sexual yes 16 is the age of consent in the uk and both vlad and reader are 16 but I do NOT write sexual content about minors.
♱ Vladimir is a gentle almost reverent lover he knows himself and he knows his power but oh heavens above is he powerless when you’re around.
♱ Every week a new bouquet of barely wilted roses finds its way into the glass vase on your windowsill and upon gently touching the petals you realise they aren’t wilted instead.. dried. Preserved. And regardless on whether or not these roses are actually rotting and dead they are on rotation switched out always tied with a silk ribbon in your favourite colour .
♱ The castle, although not his favourite place, is one of your routine hangout spots. Sitting on the roof eating the sweets vlad had never been allowed in his youth and moon-gazing, a Bloody Mary in your hand making you smile at the irony with every sip. Easing into what you think will be the perfect night with your love before Ingrid whisks you away to ask your opinion on something.
♱ His cotton sheets are always warm despite his cool skin and even though you both lack warmth usually lying in bed together is often where you feel human again, human again in his arms.
♱ Both of your hearts stopped beating at sixteen but sometimes you swear that with him your heart flickers to life for just a second a mere moment in time when he smiles at you from across the table at dinner, or when your eyes blink open in the morning to see his eyes already memorising the look you had on your face moments prior.
♱ “darling” it’s always soft, always meaningful. Your name is how he calls on you with respect but some moments, call more for reverence than regard. “Dove” it’s a gentle murmur before he gently strokes your cheek his wallowing eyes melting down every guard you have.
♱ It was never about looks to him but oh how he loves to watch your eyes light and your lips tilt when he uses a cheesy pick up line “even the undead blush when you smile at me like that” he lives for the bubbly giggles you let out as you hit his shoulder
♱ “vlad it’s bedtime” a soft groan leaves your lips “mhm” beats of silence ring but you can still feel the gentle presses of his soft lips against the inside of your wrists, neck the back of your hand and your jawline “Vladimir please” you hum “okay okay, fine bedtime” he smirks as he pulls you onto his chest hands gently relaxing against your scalp as his fingers subtly carded through your hair.
♱ “i love you” isn’t enough for vlad god forbid you utter a “love you”. Vladimir refuses to profess anything less than his undying love whenever he sees fit. “Eternally” his voice is hoarse his head resting on your knee “yours, eternally yours, I love you” your kind smile makes the eyes that look up gloss over when they meet yours “I am.. eternally devoted. Truly I am a man starved and you.. are the ambrosia I crave” he trails off as he presses kisses to your inner thigh. it’s cheesy but god do you feel your undead pulse jump at his words “whatever you say vlad”
♱ I’m writing this minutes before I need to go to bed for a 8:45am class tmr :p ♱

You never knew that you could get anywhere close to sleep until you felt yourself drifting off, wrapped in Olivia’s arms. Your eyes close and suddenly it was like the world around you came to a stop. You don’t even realize how much time has passed until you feel fingers making small circles on your back.
You blink your eyes slowly, trying to reorient yourself to your surroundings. There is a split second of peace when you realize that you are in Olivia’s bed, curled against her side, before you remember what is happening. She is tracing the bites along your back, counting them softly under her breath, as if trying to figure out the pieces to a puzzle that she doesn’t have a diagram for. You scramble to the edge of the bed and find the first shirt you can get your hands on so that you can put it on.
Olivia jumps at your sudden movement, visibly confused by your behavior. She reaches for your arm to pull you back but you yank it away from her as you get off the bed. The next time Olivia blinks, you’re wedged in the furthest corner of the room with your legs to your chest and your arms wrapped around your legs.
It is in these moments that you wish that Olivia weren’t as stubborn as she is. She only waits a couple of moments before wrapping the top sheet around her and following after you. The purple fabric cascades around her and you wish for a moment that you hadn’t fallen asleep at all. If you had been awake, you could still be nestled inside that safe cocoon instead of fighting back a panic that you haven’t felt in years.
“Baby,” Olivia says gently, stopping a couple feet in front of you. You can tell that she wants to reach out but she pauses, trying to figure out what to do next. “You were sleeping and I…I noticed that you have a lot of bites on your back.”
You attempt to force words out of your throat but they sit like an anchor in your throat that threatens to drag you under. Your arms move so that your fingers can dig into your hair, your nails scraping at your scalp to try and rid yourself of the memories that are floating to the surface.
There’s blood on you bare back. You feel it slowly running down your side, down your arm. You feel the pain of three different sets of fangs at different times as they sink into your skin. Their moans fill your ears, muting the sound of your weakened winces and cries. You’re so tired, and yet part of you is hanging on. You don’t know why, since the longer you hang on, the more your suffering continues. You reach up to wipe away a trail of blood that reaches your peripheral vision but it’s useless, your hand coming back covered in more blood.
“Y/N, Y/N,” Olivia calls out, her hand gently shaking your shoulder now to get your attention.
Your focus snaps back to her brown eyes that are riddled with fear. You look down to realize that you have clawed little marks into your forearms. Except this time there is no blood that rushes like in the memories. Nothing comes out because you don’t have a beating heart anymore. All you are is a monster.
“I’m here,” Olivia says, wrapping your arms around her.
She slots herself against you so that you can feel her warmth along your arms and through the t-shirt you hastily threw on. She raises a hand to gently force your head up to look at her. She lets her thumb run slowly up and down your jawline as she searches your eyes for what could be going on.
“Talk to me,” she pleads, her voice cracking.
You lean your forehead against hers so you don’t have to look her in the eye. “I really wish you hadn’t seen those,” you murmur.
Olivia can feel the dread pulsing across the bond stronger than she’s ever felt any other emotion. Her hands wrap around your neck to make sure that you stay pressed against her. Before the question even leaves her mouth, she is terrified of the answer but she knows that she has to ask.
“What are they from?”
You shake your head before your fingers get the chance to curl around her hips. “No. No. We aren’t talking about this. No.”
Olivia moves back to try and catch your eye but you take this time to nuzzle into her neck instead. You wrap your arms around her tighter causing her to momentarily lose her breath.
“Please, don’t make me talk about this,” you whisper into her neck. “Just forget you ever saw them at all. Please, I’m begging you.”
The resolve in Olivia wavers for a moment but she can’t let it go. Not when she can clearly see that keeping it inside is slowly poisoning you. Instead, she lets her fingers curl through your hair so she can make gentle circles along your scalp.
“Whatever happened to you is not your fault. What happened to you doesn’t make you the monster,” she murmurs, tilting her head to kiss your temple. “Please tell me what happened.”
You know that you can’t tell her what happened. The words have made it clear that they will stay stuck in your throat no matter how hard you try to force them out. So you do something that you promised yourself you would never do: transfer thoughts to Olivia.
Your fingers come up to cradle her temple and her body jolts as you open the pathway to your mind for the first time in decades.
“Are you sure?” You ask again.
She simply nods, and you can feel her body brace for whatever is about to happen.
-~-
The street you walk on is dark, with the oil lamps offering minimal light. When you had set out earlier, it hadn’t been nearly as bleak. When the storm clouds had rolled over the moon, it created a different scene that you weren’t prepared for. It wouldn’t have been nearly as costly if you had been keeping better track of time, because then you would have made it home before they started to prowl the streets.
Vampires weren't just fairy tales back then. They were monsters who ruled the streets and took whatever they wanted. Those who questioned their power were killed on the spot, those who went along with what was asked often fared a much better fate. Sometimes. Which is why you didn't fight when a pair of hands snuck out of the darkness and snatched you. You merely closed your eyes and tried to brace for the impact.
It is here that you first feel Olivia fighting back against the memory. She doesn't understand why you didn't fight back. Why this version of you seem so pliant.
You reach across the bond to explain: Back then, saying no to men was not a choice. No was a death sentence.
Olivia shudders at the confession. She forgot that while your body hasn't changed, you have endured years of a world she had no access to. You think about stopping there to spare her the cruelty that you know follows. She reads your thoughts and places a hand over yours so you can’t remove it.
You show her the three men who drag you through the woods then. Vampires with blood still running down their face and a void in their eyes that can't be fed. Their hands rip at your dress until the breeze rolls across goosebumps that seem to cover every inch of your body.
Olivia has to endure every brush of their hand as they take what was never theirs. She writhes at the way your focus collapses when they begin feeding off of you. They keep you right on the edge of consciousness long enough to torment you again and again. She sees the blood that drips down your limbs and fill your mouth when you bite back screams. Olivia feels every detail of your pain until you finally go still.
The stillness makes her heart race and her mind fill with fear because this is the closest to death she has ever seen you be, despite knowing that you make it through. Her fear only settles when you awake in a body that is both yours and not at the same time. The first words you hear as a vampire and the last one she hears of the memory is a grainy voice crackling with laughter.
“Welcome to the world of the undead, my pet.”
You let go of her temple once the story is done. As Olivia snaps back into her body, you feel her tremor from having to readjust but she doesn’t let go. She nuzzles her face into your neck and you feel the way her tears wet the shirt you put on.
“Thank you for sharing that with me. I’m so sorry they did that to you,” she murmurs, squeezing you closer to her.
“You don’t think I’m a monster?” You ask with a tremor in your voice.
She pulls back to cup your cheek gently and press a kiss to your nose. “I think you are one of the most amazing people I have ever met.”
“I don’t deserve you, Olivia Benson.”
“You deserve the world,” Olivia corrects you, “I am merely trying to hand it to you.”
You laugh, leaning in to kiss her. “I love you.”
Olivia smiles, reaching down for your hand. “Now come back to bed with me.”
Right before you are about to get under the covers, Olivia stops you and reaches for the hem of your shirt. She pauses to search your eyes for consent. You give it to her with a simple nod. She pulls the shirt over your head and throws it out of easy reach. She nuzzles her head against your shoulder as you lay back down again, placing a soft kiss to the bite that occupies that space.
“I thought you said you couldn’t sleep,” she whispers as she places more kisses along your back.
Your body vibrates as she finds another bite and gives it another open-mouthed kiss. Your hand curls into the sheet as her hand begins to make small circles down your side.
“I didn’t know I could sleep. There were rumors that we could go into a sleep-like state, but I guess I just never felt safe enough to let myself get there.”
You feel Olivia smirk against your skin as she moves to kiss further down your back. “Are you saying that you feel safe here?”
“I’m with you, so of course it feels safe.”
You feel Olivia’s heart fluttering through the bond and it soothes the ache that has gown in your chest since she found the bites. The bites that she is becoming well acquainted with as she kisses down your back. With every bite she murmurs a phrase that sends your thoughts spiraling.
You have beautiful eyes and a smile that lights up the room. You make every day brighter. You are the kindest person I know. Your strength and compassion inspire me every day. Your smile makes my heart sing. You are my star in the darkness. You bring out the best in me. You are my biggest support. You are so wise. You make forever seem like something I can commit to. You are my safe place. You always know the right things to say. You show me what it is like to be truly cared for. You make me feel like I deserve to be alive. You are not a monster.
Fifteen in total. A kiss to erase the horrible memories that are associated with each bite. It doesn’t absolve you of all the thoughts running in your head but they act as a replacement, something to ease the pain that lingers there. It is the first time since they appeared that you haven't felt like a monster.
She pulls on your shoulder until you are laying down. She moves to lay across you placing a soft kiss to your mouth. “I love you.”
You murmur back “I love you,” as she kisses down your jaw. She skims her teeth along your neck until she gets to your pulse point and you think she is going to bite you. You moan at the thought, suddenly turned on by the idea, but she continues on.
She kisses down your chest until she gently flicks her tongue over your nipple. You groan, your chest arching towards her. She takes the hint and moves a hand to cup your breast. Her thumb flicks your nipple as her mouth begins to suck on the other one.
“Liv,” you whimper as you feel the familiar coil building in your stomach.
She grins against your skin as she switches breasts. Olivia may have never slept with a woman before, but she’s a quick learner and is determined to make your thoughts fade into something lighter and softer. It’s already working by the time she starts to leave open mouth kisses by your stomach.
Your legs fall open to accommodate her but she determines that it isn't enough. Her hands grab your thighs and spread them further apart. You jump as her warm finger slides across your clit.
“I can't believe I'm the one who gets to make you feel like this,” she murmurs as she kisses your inner thigh. “My heart, my soul, my life…all yours.”
Your chest aches at her words and you reach for her hand to find a way to ground yourself. She takes it with a smile, letting her fingers curl around yours. She leans forward to place a soft kiss on your clit.
“You are the most amazing person I have ever met,” she whispers.
You think about telling her she is wrong, that you aren't a person at all, but she silences these thoughts by tentatively swiping her tongue along your core from entrance to clit. You moan softly when she hones her focus on your clit.
“That’s it baby. Right there,” you encourage her.
You feel pride flutter across the bond when she realizes that she is doing a good job. You put a hand in her hair when she swirls her tongue around your clit. You worry for a moment it will startle her but it does the exact opposite. She speeds up, her swirls turning to quick, firm flicks.
“Shit I'm,” you choke out fingers scraping across her scalp. “I'm going to cum baby.”
Olivia moans against you at your warning and presses herself closer to you, her tongue dipping into your entrance as you finally let go. You think that will be the end but her tongue returns to your clit to make room for her fingers that curl inside of you.
“Oh shit. Shit. Shit,” you growl as you feel yourself approaching another orgasm.
Your hips grinds against her and with how her fingers curl against your g-spot perfectly, you know you won’t last long.
“I love you. I love being yours. I'm yours forever,” you tell Olivia as you pull on her hair.
She moans into you and that is when you fall apart. During your haze of the second orgasm you realize Olivia is cumming too with her free hand between her own legs. When she pulls away there is an easy smile on her face. She kisses each of your thighs before sliding up to lay next to you.
“Are you sure you haven't done this before?” You ask teasingly.
“Never,” she smiles as she curls you to her. “You make everything safe, easy.” She kisses your forehead. “You're the only one for me.”
You place your ear on Olivia’s chest, listening to the way her heart beat sounds in your ear to help you drift back into that same place of safety you felt the night before. You don't know how to tell her that you listen to her heart to remember how to feel real. To remind that little monster crawling around your head that there is someone whose heart beats perfectly for you. It is with every thump that you feel like maybe you can last one more second.
Olivia’s fingers trace gently up and down your spine before her curiosity finally boils over to break the bubble you have created. “What happened to the men who turned you?”
“I killed them,” you state simply. You then add, “well, two of them.”
You refuse to look up in case you have shattered everything you have built and rush to explain. “Newborn vampires are particularly…aggressive. They are hard to control and those who are turned during acts of violence often seek revenge. Roberto, the one who you heard at the end, used to this advantage. He let me hunt the other men down and I…I….”
You pause then, your stomach turning as you remember the violence you had unleashed upon the men. It was well deserved and not even a fraction of what you had endured, but it didn't mean that you had to remember it with joy.
“I killed them,” you murmur, heartbroken, “and when I was done Roberto unleashed me on others. Other vampires. Men. Women…children.” Your fingers dig into Olivia’s hips but she doesn't move, she just holds you closer. “I became his pet, a monster who did whatever he asked.”
“Where is he now?” Olivia asks.
“It’s been years since we have crossed paths. When I started to control my instincts and fight against him, we battled. It was scrappy and I almost won, but he got away. I tracked him for months, but when the trail went cold I gave up.”
You can feel Olivia’s anger over the bond. It consumes her rational thought and you know she wants to hunt this man down for herself. You move your head to look at the blackness that consumes her vision. You lean up to kiss her but even then, it takes a few seconds before her body melts into yours.
“Let it go, Liv. He isn't worth it,” you murmur when you pull away.
Olivia shakes her head. “He hurt you. He killed you.”
“And if he hadn't, I wouldn't be in this bed with you,” you remind her, which makes her heart clench. “Please Olivia, just stay in bed with me.”
You can tell the thought still lingers in the back of her mind. You know she won't let this go easily. Olivia is as stubborn as they come, but the chance of her actually being able to find and hurt Roberto is so slim you try not to worry. You already worry enough about Olivia while she is working but at least those are humans she is dealing with. Not some power hungry vampire.
Finally Olivia relents and kisses your forehead. “I love you baby, more than anything in the world.”
You smile nuzzling closer to her feeling the demon finally settle in your mind. “I love you too Liv.”
She wraps her arms tighter around you until she feels your body still. She panics for a moment, afraid something happened to you so she pushes in her mind to find the bond. It isn't perfect, she is limited in her human ability but she finds a strand of it lingering. She pulls at it gently to feel the happiness and love that radiates from your side of the bond. You merely sunk back into that place of trance like sleep that Olivia still can't believe you are safe enough to reach. She kisses your forehead, her fingers still tracing the bites scattered along your back. She vows then that she won't stop until she finds the man that made you believe that you were a monster.
The sounds of Gotham at night were something you could never get used to. Even after a hundred odd years living here, you couldn’t bring yourself to tune out the heightened sounds of Gotham at night. When the night sky turned from a soft amber, into to a pitch black, you knew it was finally time for you to find some sort of dinner. You clutched the windowsill of your apartment and sprung up to the rooftop, observing the crowds for anyone out of place. Gotham was full of bad people so you took it upon yourself to.. cleanse it. You’d roam the city looking for any major dickheads, and when you inevitably found one well, they’d never hurt anyone again. You did it out of pure necessity.
You spotted Some rapey frat boy- who you had heard bragging about drink spiking- separating from his group. He was definitely asking for it. That’s what you get from walking alone at night.
Within seconds of sinking your teeth into the supple neck of his squirming body the familiar euphoric feeling came back to you. This was the excitement you could only get from human blood. It just left you wanting more and more. Until the feeling of insatiable hunger was all you could think about. You looked up from the unconscious, now almost lifeless body, but the soft padding of footsteps had you pausing. If there’s one thing you weren’t it was risky. Though, you couldn’t decide what was worse; leaving a body almost completely drained of blood for anyone to see, or being caught with it. Groaning you grabbed the body and zipped up to the roof top.
You clutched your dinner to your chest and relaxed against the cold tiles. It had been a while since you were able to just enjoy the cold air, the moonlight. The things you could only have during the night. Before you could resume your dinner you were interrupted by a man’s voice, that left your ears ringing.
“Hello, is anyone here?” The modulated voice felt like sandpaper against your ears.
You groaned, pushing the lifeless body off the roof and into the dumpster below. Whichever one of Batman’s minions is down there is lucky you were almost done eating. Stupid vigilantes. Posers. Well, you’d never actually met one, but hearing about them was enough for you to decide that you could beat their asses. Gotham was good for easy feeds, most of the time you didn’t even cover your tracks- you didn’t have to. There was always some sort of trouble, drug overdoses, gangs, and whatever goofy villain in face paint and a costume wanted to make things interesting. Not that the heroes dress any better. The first time you saw robin you actually laughed out loud. They wear tight spandex like it’s a uniform. On the other hand there is Nightwing, he rights every wrong done in the costume world. The point is though, no one noticed a vampire running loose, especially one who knew how not to get caught.
You heard footsteps behind you before you felt them.
“Oh, hi there ma’am, you need any help getting down?”
Red Hood. Eh could be worse. You tried your best to look innocent before you faced him.
“Oh, no sorry, I was just enjoying the moonlight”
He nods his head in understanding. Or at least you think he does that big red helmet makes it hard to tell. You would be lying if you said you weren’t even the smallest bit intrigued by it all. Why hide? A group of heroes who tries as hard as they do to be noble, and never kill, and whatever, never even gets anything from it- no credit no nothing. It’s off putting- then again maybe you’re just selfish. Being alone for long enough would do that to you.
“We’re pretty high up are you sure-“ he cuts himself off with a pause and looks between you and the building, before he starts
“how’d you even get up here?”
You try to let out an innocent sounding giggle but it sounds closer to a scoff.
“well I can’t tell you that can I, save some mystery for the rest of us mister hood.”
He scoffs at that, a serious expression taking over his face
“look you don’t need to do anything stupid, how about I get you down safe and I’ll walk you home”
You paused at that. Oh. so he saw an angsty looking teenage looking person and thought they were gonna go bridge jumping. Typical. If you were gonna jump off of a rooftop you’d at least try to put on a show. Scream and yell, then take a leap of faith and pray that nightwing comes to your rescue. You examined him. He wasn’t too bad himself, his tight costume didn’t leave much up to the imagination. You silently scolded yourself, it wasn’t only your body that was stuck in 18yr old mode.
You scoffed “you think I’m suicidal?! God forbid a girl just wants to enjoy the moonlight. Can’t do anything in this city.”
He groaned and to your surprise plopped down next to you.
“Tell me about it”
Your mind is reeling at a hundred miles per hour. You’re sitting next to some hero, no some random human boy. Who doesn’t have an inch of skin visible. A boy who probably has Batman listening to this conversation. If something were to happen, you could barely save yourself. This was dangerous. But whatever human part of you was left yearned for the interaction.
You sighed and looked into the moonlight, thinking of anything to say to break the somewhat peaceful silence. “had any werewolf attacks today?” You said gesturing to the full moon. You wanted to take it back as soon as you said it. Werewolves, really? How lame. You really made yourself look like a nerd in front of the only guy you’d talked to in a while.
Your overthinking was cut off by his chuckle - to your complete surprise.
“Nah got a couple vampires tho. They’re the easy ones.”
You felt your face fall and skin flush. He may as well have slapped you in the face with that comment.
Unluckily your reaction didn’t go unnoticed. His brows furrowed in concern under his helmet as he looked down at you.
“Kidding, you scared of vampires or something?”
A wave of relief washed over you. Ok, he was obviously joking. It was stupid to freak out. Why’d you even bring up werewolves again?
“You have no idea”
“Hm” he chirps “well we all have our fears I guess”
You thanked the good lord that he dropped it or you may as well have handed him the stake herself.
“What’s yours, fear I mean? I’d love to know what Gotham’s most fearsome vigilante is scared of- wait, wait lemme guess??”
He made a gesture with his hand for you to go on.
“Loose clothes”
He scoffed but before he could snap back you interrupted him.
“no, wait is it like green goblin or, or wait no, I got it it’s something noble like not being able to save the evil villain who fucked you over you like 50 times”
He groans at the last comment putting his head- or helmet in his hands.
“What? I got it didn’t I? Hey a girl who sits out here in the moonlight watching over the city doesn't miss much, If you know what I’m saying.” You say with a wink.
You immediately groan internally. Great now you’re winking at strange men. Why were you here again?
He buried his head in his hands showing a slither of his neck, bright red. He was blushing. As proud as you felt for embarrassing such a big man, the sight of his neck reminded you how hungry you were. You needed to eat. And if you didn’t leave here soon you wouldn’t be able to again until tomorrow night.
“So you’re coming for my job now?” he groaned, turning over to look you in the eyes. But instead of meeting your face there was nothing.
“Hey ma’am where’d you go?”
He leaned over the edge of the rooftop, but there was nothing. You didn’t jump while he wasn’t looking, you must have just left. No, that’s impossible he would’ve heard you. Did he imagine you being there at all? The thought was kinda terrifying? Was he really that pathetic? Groaning he stood up stretching out his legs.
God he needed to get some human interaction.

Your courtier’s voices strike a cord within you, ears ringing from their numerous complaints as they point and put the blame on each other. You’re irked, rightfully so when you half expected to have a quieter day, especially after the sweetness you woke up to in your coffin. Strong yet familiar arms that enveloped around you, and a warm comforting breath fanning your nape as you feel him breathe and hear his heart thrumming under his chest. When you’re with him, you feel alive, but the nobles of your court make it harder to feel that way even when the person you long for the most is standing by the large marble doors.
Hobie is clad in his armour, a dark whisper of shadows that pools around him in its embrace, mirroring your own gown that is made out of hell’s shadows. It feels intimate, matching with your sworn knight, as if the wispy shadows are trying to find its match, slithering on the floor looking for its other half.
His cloak comes alive even without a whisper of air in the space, it flutters windlessly, a dancing shadow that captures your eye. Suddenly, as if driven by a charm, your eyes roam up from his armour to his handsome face. Salt and pepper hair and a fine beard to match, russet eyes that demand your attention, and lips that you know all too well.
You’re awfully distracted, and it’s all his fault. And yet, he just stands there, doing his duty like any other day at court and in your presence.
“Your grace,” a noble man gets too close to the shell of your ear, a duke of no renown to you, but someone needed to be on the council to garner support from his land. “I’d wager that they’re about to rip each other’s throat.” His crimson eyes darted over to the group of noblemen arguing in their mother tongue.
“Or,” another leans beside you, ruby red lips that match her fiery hair. “They’re about to rip their clothes off right on your battle map, your grace.”
“Either way,” the duke chuckles lowly. “You better get your human out of here before blood starts spraying or he’ll get caught in the crossfire.”
“Aw,” the woman coos, her sharp nail tracing the length of your arm, and yet your eyes remain up front, staring at Hobie and his barely hidden restraint as his hold tightens around the pommel of his sword. “Your poor pup, I heard that you’re quite fond of the human—”
“Enough.” You didn’t have to raise your voice to silence the whole room. The simple word sends ripples throughout every single council member. “Get out,” eyes flicking to each face, you show your disdain through your glare. “All of you, you all bore me.”
They clamber out of the council room, red eyes gazing at you with faint fury. Once the doors close, your shoulders relax, eyes closing as you rub them with the heels of your palms.
The quiet clanking of armour gets your attention. “I swear I’m about to stage my own death to rid of them.”
“As long as ‘m part of that plan, lovie.” Hobie’s hand squeezes your shoulder affectionately.
“We’re almost there, my love. Our plan is working, slowly but its working in our favour.” Twisting in your seat, you hold his hand atop your shoulder, gazing into those eyes you love. The shadows finally dance together, slithering around the two of you as they connect and swirl around the other. “Hold on, and we’ll both get out of here. Just us,” your fangs peek over your lips as you smile, and yet he doesn’t back away in fright. “no more titles, no more crowns and annoying courtiers. We’ll dissolve this council and usher in a new world where we could just be us.”
Hobie’s smile mirrors your own, lifting you up from your chair after a quick peck to the back of your hand. “Freedom, finally, for the both of us.”
“Freedom.” Hands atop his chest plate, you press a kiss on his forehead. As your eyes meet, Hobie sighs with content, just being in your arms eases the tension in his shoulders. “You were a good distraction earlier.”
“Hm,” he hums, tracing your jawline with his nose, breathing you in. “Perhaps I could help with your bloomin’ headache.”
“Must you ask when you already know my answer?” Chuckling, fangs poking your bottom lip, you take him by the hand and lead him to your chambers as his laughter follows you gladly.
