Weiss walked through the streets of Mantle, watching all the people as she passed them by. She hated the cold here and how… difficult it made her meals, but she did like the fact that for the most part, there was cloud cover. Enough of it to allow herself to walk outside during the day without having to keep her parasol out. Unfortunately, today was not one of those days. 

She sighed as she adjusted her parasol to block the sun, her red eyes keeping watch for anyone that was careless enough to not keep themselves fully covered. Her eyes stopped on a group of hunters, a faunus and two humans, helping out a couple of elderly citizens. She shuddered for a moment, wanting to get away, but something about the faunus made her keep looking. She watched as the two human hunters walked away while the faunus stayed put, still talking to the citizens. This only made her a bit more curious about him, a warmth appearing in her chest unlike anything she’s felt before. She walked a little closer, getting into earshot of the faunus.

Marrow smiled at the elderly couple, tail wagging a bit. “Just make sure to keep an eye out for things. It’s still not safe with people going missing or ending up with strange marks.” 

The older gentleman nodded and thanked Marrow before walking off with his wife. 

Marrow watched a bit and turned around to see a young girl in white and holding a parasol staring at him. He smiled at her and walked over. “Need anything ma’am?” 

Weiss looked him over and smiled a bit, thinking she may have just found her next willing meal. “Since there have been people going missing lately, I was wondering if maybe you’d be able to escort me home.” She moved closer to him, putting a hand on his arm. “I’d feel much safer with a big, strong, hunter walking with me.” 

Marrow blushed a bit at the compliment, moving Weiss’s hand a bit. “Of course I can walk you home today. And with how cold your hand’s feeling, I think we should start heading now. Wouldnt want you to get too cold today.” 

Weiss nodded and started heading in the direction of her home. She stayed close to Marrow, eyeing his neck a bit as she walked, but something felt different this time. She still wasnt sure what this feeling was but it certainly wasnt hunger. She shook her head a bit as she walked, trying to clear her mind. She’d figure this all out once she got home with him.

FruitVamp!Weiss, lunging forward, slamming Ruby to the floor, nearly pinning her down, panting as she locks eyes with Ruby, struggling to speak: I'm...sorry...if this hurts.

FruitVamp!Weiss, quickly jerking her head down and bites her fangs into Ruby's neck, causing her to yip, her hands tightening around Ruby's wrists as the girl winces and attempts to squirm beneath her, ravenously drinking in the Rose's life: Mmmm...

Ruby, wide eyed in shock, her body tensing up as she trembles in Weiss's grasp, her head beginning to feel light, her vision getting blurry as she begins to pant: W-Weiss...Weiss I...I think that's enough...Weiss...WEISS!

FruitVamp!Weiss, throwing her head up, a satisfied gasp for air filling her lungs, a small trickle of blood trailing down from the corner of her mouth, staring out blankly into space as her shoulders heave with each breath: ...s-...sorry...

FruitVamp!Weiss, dropping her head a hair's length from Ruby's face, locking her dreamily drifting eyes with the Rose's, her voice a soft and quiet caress to Ruby's ears: ...very...sorry, again.

Ruby, a bit nervous: S-...sorry for wha-?

FruitVamp!Weiss, lunging down yet again, this time locking lips with Ruby in a kiss, the taste of blood shared between them as Weiss continues to hold her against the floor, after a moment she slowly pulls back: ...for that.

Ruby, even more lightheaded now than before: ...do it again.

Modern au, where there's Vampire!Weiss and she is the lead of a company where Ruby find a job and is new. If you wondering the pairing... well, ofc it's Whiterose 😉 lemme dream that... sure it would be fantastic.

I LOVE modern au businesswoman Weiss. Plus adding vampires leaves room for more supernatural elements that can add to the tension of a story. Especially with human!Ruby caught in the middle of it all…there’s a lot of potential.

Jaune: ...Three hundred years ago, there was a failing in one of the mining equipment. Historians aren't sure what the cause of failing was, but they suspect it was either fault and surge in the power grid or some form of seismic activity. Weiss... doesn't like to talk about it.

Winter: Did she ever tell you why?

Jaune: No. She didn't want to say, so I didn't pry.

Winter: (Nods) More than one hundred people died in that "failing," as you say. Among them was Neptune Vasilias-Schnee and Polaris Vasilias-Schnee. Her own husband and child.

Jaune: ...

Winter: Neptune will always be her true love. And you will never be able to replace the blood, sweat, and tears she poured into futilely trying to save her little Polaris.

Jaune: ...I will never leave her-

Winter: Yes, you will. Willingly or unwillingly, your life is fleeting all the same. Since her husband's death, Weiss has not taken another soul into her bed, much as father has tried to remedy this.

Winter: ...This place... is where I sired her. It had been almost half a century since the loss of her child, but she still worked in the mines. This wasn't in the history books, but she was crushed by some falling machinery. She was weeping, sweating, screaming with a hoarse voice. I remember, in my desperation, asking her...

Winter: "Are you sure?"

Winter: She told me to do it.

Jaune: ...What was she like after that?

Winter: If Weiss in her human life was inconsolable, then her new life as a vampire was insatiable. Every night, she found something new to hunt and kill and feed on. She's calmed down only in her more recent years. I remember when she broke my arm in a flash of fury, only to cower when I lifted her off the ground. (Chuckles) You are lucky to not have met her in that time.
