It has occurred to me that the Hex doesn't know that the Drifter can actually fight fight. Like they probably think "oh yeah they just transfer themselves into the Warframe and use it like a puppet" but we know that they are not just able pilots - they're trained to fight with melee and shoot a pistol as well as ride a horse themselves and remember, that the Drifter has dreamed up that the Dax are as strong as real Dax. So them being able to fight them no issue means Drifter is already athletically stronger than their Operator counterpart.

There's a lot of different ways to attempt to describe the smorgasbord that is Warframe, but here's my preferred way:

You know that dream project magnum opus you've got in the back of your head? The one you daydream about, the one you'd make if you had infinite money and time, with all your favorite things in it, with endless potential to add more stuff you like into it? The one you know would be completely unrealistic and would probably die in production if you ever tried to really get it made?

Warframe is someone's dream project that they threw out into the world as a last-ditch effort and, against all odds, it actually survived and thrived.

Obsession and Nikki’s horrible experience reminded me of the majority of WF players attitude towards the operator.

So, with above image in mind.

The Drifter (with the operator watching from a void pocket in their brain), this alt you, who looks older but isn’t, they only got a chance to physically age before being exposed to void death, steals all your skills, abilities, friends, and literally universe while you ride around in their head. And no one seems notices. Those that do don’t seem to care. And all the while the only time the operator is “let out” is in the void. And even then, they’re only let out to enter the trauma reliving machine. While the drifter heads back in time to make new friends.

I wonder how that feels. It parallels the warframes that still have some consciousness like umbra but it’s also so much like Nikki.

Especially the scene where Bear ‘talks’ to her on the phone while on the line with the Willow rep. And she’s just screaming.

And that’s not even going into the fact that the KIM system is horrifying. The operator gets to know the drifter has friends. Specific friends that only belong to them. But all of them are off limits.

Obviously a lot of this only applies to those that don’t use their op.

Serious question, how does making warframes in your orbiter work??

Are the warframes you craft on your own just based on one made with a human or are you like. Making a whole guy under there. Obviously there’s organic parts but surely you’re not crafting a whole underlying person right? Is the human underneath the original supplemented by the mechanical parts when you make it?? I’m sure this is explained somewhere I just haven’t gone and found it yet.

i think that in warframe, we should get a tenno/more than one tenno as lore characters and NPCs. like, we know there's canonically more then the player one(s), and a few are referenced/mentioned in some lore for the Warframes, but presumably they've been there this whole time, and they all have their own unique stories that our different than ours, right? (obviously we have Rell but then I'm more thinking about Tenno who have been in the second dream)
