It’s 2 a.m. and you’re awake, talking to that one person beside you, about how your life has ever been, and how you came above everything and where you goofed up and felt so embarrassed. That one person who knows when you cry, how you laugh, how you sleep, what you hate, what you love, who know you more than yourself. That one person who has always been beside you, no matter what. That one person, needn't be your life partner, or your lover and you needn't be having this company forever but, Isn’t this beautiful in this moment. It’s like you found something so pure, like you made a discovery for yourself. I mean, That’s what you need. That’s what everyone needs and is waiting for, and You’ve got it. Right beside you.

How is it possible for you to have a smile so bright that it could light up a whole entire room. It radiates brighter then the moon maybe even the sun. Come a little closer and illuminate my shadows. Help me fight my battles so that my heart is set free. Free to live and free to love. Free to protect you from the shadows between us. Show me that smile, that smile that only shines for me.

•Have you ever really looked at the moon. The way it sits there calmly. With stars sparkling all around it taking from its beauty. Stealing it. Masking it. Have you ever really looked at the stars. Not just how they form constellations. But how they shoot across the sky. How they move around the North. The way some are big & others are small. Then the sun takes them away. Have you ever really looked at the sun. How the cloud mask it from us. How the rain takes it aways. Have you looked closely at a rainbow. Close enough to see the colors fade. Close enough to see gold at the end. Have you ever actually looked at the sky & how each night the moon give the sun life.• ~ Kayce Bekka 🐢
