I dont headcanon Jax as trans.

Obviously I'm not against the headcanons, but so far the only evidence I've seen for it being Canon- (Not that the headcanon has to be Canon for it to be a good headcanon, I just see alot of people treat it as canon) - is the maid dress scene.

"He didn't like wearing the dress because it made him feel feminine!"

He didn't like the maid dress because it put him out of control, imo. He didn't like being vegan when he was made too, either.

(Also just... the trope of being embarrassed by being feminine is extremely overdone, and this offers some other explanation besides "Ooo dress embarrassing (ToT)"

Gonna have a more relaxed themed cosplay. Still got a couple of things to make. Just looking at my shirt after seeing someone analysing other mech and uh... are they inside Bubble? Also Jax, you're facing the wrong way for a group photo you numbskull.

Tadc fans pmo because Jax has this whole “I’m insecure about myself so I mask how I really feel behind an asshole persona and treat everyone like shit” and fans will be like “OMG TRANS MASC JAX, TRANS FEM JAX, GAY JAX, QUEER JAX🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 WE WILL GIVE JAX ALL THE ATTENTION” meanwhile the gender queer god zooble is right there and barely gets any content compared to him

I awoke from my slumber at 3am because I was struck with a sudden understanding of Jax and everything that he is, the reason for the cruelty, the refusal to enjoy anything sincerely, the hatred of the maid dress and not wanting to share what happens when he holds his breath, his COMPLETE refusal to take anything seriously- it's all from this fear of being laughed at, because if HE'S the one laughing then he can't be the joke, and he's taken it to such an extreme that he's wrung himself dry of any real happiness inside him I'm going to scream
