You guys are probably gonna think I’m crazy because I am a Romanogers shipper after all, but guys… CINEMATIC POETRY!!! I don’t know if it’s just how ScarJo portrayed the reaction, but Natasha kinda looked broken when she saw that Steve was looking at his compass. Also, the angles on how this scene and their other scenes are shot. Remember how even ScarJo said that Nat wants more for Steve than she can offer. They love each other—no question in that, because they really do in any form possible. However, there’s always been something between them that has never been addressed. I know what non-shippers are saying, “There was nothing there.” Okay, sure… Maybe nothing ever stated. Really, it could only, possibly be the way Evans and Johansson portrayed the characters, but you don’t shoot and write scenes just like that for it to lead to nothing. In my mind, I’d like to believe that the CapWidow relationship wanted to show pure and unconditional love (in any way you want to see it).
