@teddy468
My therapist just told me my problem is that I need to write more fanfiction.
This sounds fake but the logic behind it is actually really interesting? She said obsession with a new fandom triggers quick dopamine release when we consume all this related content--it's easy and addictive.
What we're NOT getting is that 'slow dopamine' that's more sustainable and engaging. That's the kind we get from DOING things that take effort but are ultimately rewarding.
So like, she suggested that writing fic and making fanart are ways to balance the quick dopamine of watching a show/reading fic with the slow dopamine of working at something that takes effort.
Moral of the story is you should engage in the process of creation around your favorite things. You'll feel better for it.
Oh.
OH.
Let's all go do fandom.
FOR SCIENCE!
:)
Uhh back for my bi monthly post
the reason usa birth rates going down is because we have a whole generation of women whose sexual awakening was Sans undertale and none of the men want to wear jorts and drink ketchup and go Er er er
with your time finding the different meanings & colors of some flowers, do you have a fav? and what is it?
I don't retain a ton of that info honestly, but I do have favorites. Hydrangeas have been my personal favorite for a long time, and now I've got a soft spot for red daisies because they were (apparently lol) Haru's favorite. One time there was a giant red daisy screen saver on the TV and that boy got ACTIVE. It was like he was possessed by a bee, his head shot up and then he went to the YV and started beeping. So that's his flower and it'll always be special to me.

One Night, In A Certain Tower...
The ink at the tip of Finneas' quill was long dry. Idle blotches and drips scattered around the top of the parchment of a would-be letter he attempted to pen an hour ago. Recent months were filled with discoveries beyond his wildest dreams, yet in these desperate moments the troubled mage couldn't find the words.
Silence was a rare gift in the tower these days. The absence of the whirring drone of aetheric portals to the Beyond made him uneasy. Down the crisscrossing stairs and corridors of the magical tower Finneas called home, Faust was sound asleep for the first time in days.
Discovering that the threads of reality were not as tightly woven as once believed by all who came before them was proving to be a challenge in ways he could never have expected.
He believed they'd found precious, delicate truth.
His darker half believed they'd found power. Horrifying, tremendous power.
What little candlelight remained was scarcely enough to keep the darkness at bay. This unwritten letter was meant for the other truth he'd discovered in the Beyond. The fact that without their beloved Weaver this beautiful tapestry of magic and mischief the trio created together was doomed to fray and unravel in ways that would have dire consequences.
In the end, the parchment was bare and untouched, spare for the freckles of ink left behind like teardrops of the very darkness he sought to restrain.

Stargarden truthers...are you out there..........
First verse Faust, second verse Finneas. Do with that what you will.
Also this song is insane???? And the music video??? Hell yeah.
Had to say goodbye to my little Wizard, Haru, who refused to believe that CON was a dump stat. He battled an eosinophilic disease for most of his 3 years, and I did my best to help him fight. He was silly, and sassy, and loved through every struggle. And he loved me through mine.
how playing chapter 5 felt as someone who isn't very good at video games
First, I just wanna say, I looove your work! It gives me so many ideas for my own stories and characters! But my question is, how did the love confessions go for Al and Seth? Did it just happen or did they confess to each other? Was it sweet or kinda awkward? 🥹 (also you don’t have to answer of you don’t want to!!)
I have genuinely never thought about it, which might sound like an insane confession in itself but let's explore it now.
I think, in typical YuuriVoice fashion, it was not a deliberate distinct confession or something like that.
I think that at some point there was a change. Probably the first instances of the boys viewing the other as a hero of sorts. Maybe one spoke up for the other at school, or showed them a perspective that changed their point of view, or something. A breakthrough. The kind that tend to happen when you're young and starting to become a person whose got a few extra wrinkles in the brain.
There must have been a moment where they both distinctly realized that the other had that part of them they lacked and wanted to learn it for themselves.
From there it would have shifted. The lingering gazes, awkward oops our hands touched moments, etc. maybe throw in them clashing a little as they struggle to accept the new feelings that are sprouting up.
And one night, camping out together, dreaming about what could be in the future, the idea of not being together to experience that future might have left a long heavy silence between them.
Seth knows what absence of someone you love feels like, Jessie would be gone at that point. So I think he cracks first. He's found something he doesn't want to lose. Alphonse probably doesn't get it. He couldn't imagine a guy like Seth feeling romantic feelings for him. I bet Seth has a lot of girls crushing on him at this point, and Alphonse being the pastel oddball in their community he might have an even harder time thinking that anyone at all would feel some type of way about him.
I could see Seth trying to explain his feelings without stating the obvious. Alphonse making him jump through hoops, not to tease him, but to try and find hole to poke in this supposed importance Seth feels for him.
Then, the classic bratty move..."prove it".
And in the way that awkward teens do, a nervous, chapped lip first kiss by the campfire.
I don't know what the first i love you would have been like. When it might have happened or how. But I reckon it wasn't much of a question after that night.
do people actually read books while in the bathtub
